Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Sámara

The home was exactly what we were looking for. The home is beautifullly decorated with lots of extra s like a cooler, beach towels and chairs. We loved the location its was a five min drive to several local restaurants and really nice beaches. Helen was very responsive and the late check out was very much appreciated. We highly recommend the home for families as my 5 yr old loved the bunk bed and beautiful pool. Thank you for hosting and we look forward to returning. Pura Vida🇨🇷!!

Lila’s place is amazing. Close to a great (and also not crowded) beach. This spot is perfect if you are searching for a Pura vida moment. Playa San Miguel was not super tourist-y when we were there so if you want a calm and relax stay: this is the place for you. This place is clean, functional and perfect if you have to work remote (internet was A1 for zoom or Teams meeting). Thanks Lila for this AMAZING few days 🙏

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Heather's place in Nosara. The home looks exactly as it appears in the listing. Hosts gave us a long list of recommended activities and restaurants. Christophe and Heather communicated proactively and assisted with our late check in. This was our first trip to Nosara. We plan to visit next year and hope this gem is available for our return trip. Highly recommend.

Christina and Roberto are wonderful hosts! They were extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. We fell in love with their beautiful house Its modern yet very cosy and comfortable with a bohemian vibe. It’s also super clean and has everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The location is perfect, we loved how private the street was with a 7 minute walk to the beach and some great restaurants and a 5 minutes drive to the supermarket. We would definitely come stay at Villa Palma again!

What can I say about Kandalaya that hasn’t been said in other reviews? The place is gorgeous, a literal oasis in Guiones with incredible gardens, wonderful pool, close to everything. Jade was a wonderful host and really made us feel welcome. Daryl was also great to talk to and gave some great suggestions for our second leg of the trip around Arenal. Friendly folks, wonderful space - our seven year old was in heaven, as were we. Highly recommended.

The place was very nice - loved to be able to open the big door and have the open air in the house. The AC in the bedrooms worked great. We heard howler monkeys every day and that was very cool. It was our first time using a french press coffee maker and we loved it. Beautiful setting. Responsive and helpful host. Kitchen was very well stocked. I would definitely recommend this place and the host.

I was directed to Claudia for this Airbnb and she was so amazing. We had so many questions that included transportation, the area, places to eat, things to do, etc. She answered all of them so kindly and in a timely manner. The place was so beautiful and walking distance to many things. Would definitely come back here!

I think it might be a little bit cleaner but it was ok. Admin was very responsive which was very useful. I highly recommend Shiva. Playa Pelada us at walking distance and very quite and private beach.

It was clean, quiet, safe and cool. It was amazing that we were in the middle of it all, but since we were off the main street, it was peaceful. Henri was a fantastic host—super helpful, and also respectful of our privacy. We highly recommend visiting the animal sanctuary (SIBU) and also booking a hiking and birdwatching tour through the website Viator. Victor was our guide and we loved him! We also highly recommend Sunrise Cafe for breakfast, which is in Playa Pelada, and Al Chile Mexican food for the best guacamole I have ever had. The beach is beautiful and it seems as though the whole town comes out for the star of the show—sunset.

We’ve stayed in multiple Airbnbs in Samara over the years, and this is one of the best- spotlessly clean and well-stocked house, easy and prompt communication with host, location close to town, beautiful pool, and air conditioning in all rooms (which is a rarity). Thank you so much for a lovely vacation!

Incredible magical place, great connection with nature, monkeys visiting in the mornings, loved how all the windows could be opened, and the pool was my favorite part. Also very safe! Beatiful gated community.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Kristen’s jungle home! The space is even more beautiful in person than in the photos – it’s cozy, peaceful, and surrounded with beautiful nature. Kristen was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always available to answer any questions or offer recommendations. If you're looking for a relaxing, beautiful spot to unwind in Nosara, I can't recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back! 🌿

This place is outstanding! Located just at the beach surrounded by all kind of plants, trees and palms. There is a very nice and modern yoga deck for guests with all equipment you need. I was actualy enjoying it every day. The place is very clean and fresh. You have everything you need in the kitchen. However the best of all is when you take your one minute walk form your door to the beach. The view is beautifull! Host is very helpfull and when I had any questions how to move around in the town I got always help. Doesn't matter if you are alone or with your kids this place is a perfect choice. Definatelly place I will visit again.

Nury’s place is a slice of paradise! Tucked away, very private, and surrounded by beautiful nature. The mornings were magical watching scenes of horses and cows pass through and graze. Kitchen was well stocked. Bed and linens were comfortable. Place is well shaded from the sun and the pool was very refreshing. A perfect spot for quiet respite.

Casa Shambala/Tranquila is a little oasis off a lovely dirt road with as many horses and bikes as there are cars. The area is a slight bit out of town which I preferred as it centers you in the middle of a great hike, another more secluded local beach and a quiet and cool neighborhood vibe. It’s a quick bike ride or leisurely stroll to town and there are a couple of small mercados near by where you can groceries. We woke up to the sight and the sound of monkeys and birds singing and 3 beautiful hammocks to choose from to enjoy your morning coffee. There is a great gazebo space to chill or meditate or yoga or whatever. Safe and secure as well. Just a great spot all around. Chantel and Tonya and her adorable, quiet and respectful daughter only added to the positiveness of our experience. They were both very knowledgeable and friendly but also extremely respectful of your space. Highly recommend this place and hope to come back and stay again soon.

I stayed here with my electric SUV, which is not built for off-road driving. Although I had to push it a bit on some steep slopes, I still managed to reach the property without major issues. The place itself is outstanding—nestled in the middle of the forest, with a beautifully designed bus home that blends perfectly with the surroundings. You’re completely immersed in lush greenery, with the sounds of nature all around, making it an incredibly peaceful retreat. Despite its minimalist and clutter-free style, the bus home is fully equipped with everything one could need, including air conditioning, a well-stocked kitchen with utensils, and reliable WiFi. It strikes the perfect balance between simplicity and comfort. Although it's located well within a gated condominium, it still feels fairly central and is conveniently close to everything in Nosara. I will definitely return and highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone looking for a unique and tranquil experience in nature!

This Air BnB is fantastic! It is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting Sámara beach. Natalia’s place has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The wooden porch is great for relaxing, eating your meals, and even doing yoga. The Air BnB is very easy walking distance to town as well as Sámara beach and Buenavista beach. Highly recommend Natalia’s place!!
