Vacation rentals with beach access in Playas del Coco

A very private place perfect for 1 or 2 people, parking and a very safe place and Sergio's attention is very fast and attentive. The apartment is great very new finishes and very close to the pool. With a strategic location of pretty beaches as penca, las catalinas, Plata prieta. We stayed 5 nights and everything was perfect.

The house was immaculate and the host was super friendly helpful with suggestions. The house was easy to find and the road was better than most in Costa Rica. Everything was perfect and we would absolutely stay here again.

I can’t say enough good things about Nick’s place. It was PERFECT. The space, including the grounds and pool, are far better than depicted in the pictures! They are absolutely beautiful! The studio was the perfect space for 2 of us. The beach is right outside the back door. The walk into town is ~10 minutes. We rented a golf cart and it was great. The washer and dryer is also very convenient. Even though there is another larger part of the house below, the studio has its own dedicated spaces which makes it very nice and secluded. The night security was awesome and we felt so safe. We highly recommend Sofias right across the street for dinner and Pandeli for breakfast/brunch. Nick arranged transportation to and from the airport and it was a breeze. Nick was always extremely responsive and communicative. If you’re on the fence about booking this, DO IT! You will not regret it. We hope to be back sooner rather than later!!

Perfect place to be right on the beach and have access to the town. Portovino restaurant is right down stairs, good food, and great view of the sunset. Secured stairwell that goes up to the loft. Cannot beat the location.

We had a fabulous stay at Arun’s place. The views from the condo and balcony are magnificent. The condo is very nicely decorated and well equipped for all of your needs. The amenities for the condo building are top notch including an affinity pool, great workout room and terrace with 360 views. We enjoyed the coffee machine snd getting breakfast on the roof top terrace. Arun is a very lovely person and probably the most responsive Airbnb host we have ever had. We were very sad to leave after our 10 day stay and hope to return one day. Highly recommend!!!

Would 100% stay here again. Wow the view is stunning. Beds were comfy, ac worked well. Access to the beach right there, pool was nice. Great place and nice neighbors. Had a window blind that was broken when we showed up and management came and took care of it immediately. Beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys and some pool toys were in the closet which we thoroughly enjoyed!! We stayed here on NYE and were able to see fireworks all around sitting on the beach, fantastic way to ring in the new year. Great stay!

Deborah’s place was exactly what we needed for our last three days in Tamarindo. While it’s not a luxury stay, it more than makes up for it with its incredible location—just steps from the beach and within walking distance to all the central spots in town. The guesthouse has a charming and relaxed vibe, making it a great place to unwind. The cost was very reasonable, especially considering how expensive Costa Rica was this time around. We truly enjoyed our time here! Tips for Other Travelers: • Don’t miss Pizzeria El Sapo—everyone’s favorite! • Rent a golf cart in advance if you’re planning to use one. They were all sold out during our visit. • Take a trip to Vandará - Thermal Springs & Adventures: I recommend this spot for those looking for a convenient and budget-friendly stay in Tamarindo!

Great stay in Tamarindo, would book again. Very clean!

House was perfect for our group. Any (minor) issues we had were promptly taken care of. Great location. Would recommend a car or plan for taxi, as the lack of sidewalks makes after dark walking a little dicey. Awesome little beach town. Pura vida!

Diane’s place is very close to the ocean and within walking distance of the markets and restaurants. Great vacation! Would stay again.

We got to the California Beach Bungalow and it was absolutely gorgeous. Open space with wooden vaulted ceilings, absolutely amazing. It was perfect for us including the surfboard racks front and center of the living space. The pool was a blessing every day after the beach. We also loved our location just outside of town in a beautiful safe neighborhood with a guard at the gate 24/7. It was everything we could have wanted.

Great amenities. Dirk was extremely responsive and gave great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The beach is directly across the street. There are several restaurants within walking distance and a market to grab last minute/forgotten items. Don't miss Cafe Mar Azul, the food is fantastic and inexpensive. There's a surf shack next door where you can rent surf boards and book excursions. Very safe area. The house was very roomy, clean, and comfortable. We'd book this location again if we vacation in Costa Rica again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay at Jake’s! The airbnb was exactly as advertised and very spacious with the bedrooms on the upper floor and kitchen and living room on the ground level. We also loved having the beach access and found Playa Longosta beach to be much nicer than Tamarindo beach.

House had everything you need and located in a great spot!

The house is very comfortable, and they have everything very well cared for. They deliver it spotless. The fourth room was not enabled but we don't need it as I went with my wife and two children. The layout of the house is very comfortable. They should only be careful that it is advisable to always arrive by car as the access road due to rain was a muddle.

Ken’s place was perfect for me. It was one very, very short block from the beach, the pictures showed exactly what the place was. There were no surprises at all, except for good ones. I booked a shuttle from Liberia airport and my flight was late. I was concerned about getting there on time, and that the driver could find the place, but Ken was actually standing right out front of the place waiting for me to wave the driver in. What a relief. He showed me the place, told me about the beach etc and made some great recommendations for groceries and restaurants. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, coffee (delicious), pretty much anything you would need to cook a meal or snack. The bed was comfortable. He was exceptionally responsive…literally in minutes with either answers to my questions or solutions to any problem I encountered—none about the property. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Potrero is a great little beach town and Ken’s place is an amazing addition

Absolutely a great place to stay in Coco, very walkable and yet quite and peaceful! I will come back!

Chris’s condo is all we expected! Really nice property on the first floor of the Malinche complex with an awesome view. Communication with Chris was very fluent and he provided helpful instructions with images and videos. I would definitely recommend this condo!

My wife, our friend and I spent a wonderful 5 nights in Brandon's lovely condo in Playa Flamingo. Brandon's home was very well-located, comfortable and fun, and Brandon was very helpful and responsive. We can't say enough about Playa Flamingo. It's got modern touches, like several great restaurants within walking distance, and it's also a great jumping-off point for visiting other towns and beaches. We're already missing the fabulous views from the balcony, relaxing at the beautiful and comfortable pool, and our walks and swims on lovely Play Flamingo!

The condo was clean, had its own pathway down to the beach, and had everything you’d need. Very close to a little grocery store, and a great pizza restaurant across the street.

What can I say about Daphne’s condo that already hasn’t been said!! All reviews are SPOT ON so there was no resistance in booking. When Daphne sent us her “concierge booklet” right after we booked, we knew it was going to be a first class stay. And it was. We loved so many things. Walk up entrance, clean pool and surroundings, friendly staff, very well appointed inside including linens and towels, spotless inside, all amenities provided including beach chairs for the SHORT walk down to Playa Penca, quiet at night, short walk to grocery and bar/restaurant and short drive to Surfside. It’s very obvious that taking care of her guests is important to Daphne and it shows. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay at Casa Del Sol! We loved it all! Pura Vida!!!!

Great location. The Tamarindo beach honestly is a little bit too crowded for us. This unit is about 10 mins walking distance and feel much more peaceful and safe. We had a rental car, so we visited beaches nearby and they are all gorgeous. The beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels in the unit are very convenient. Restaurant recommendations from Vincent and past visitors are all great. The stuffs in Horizon Pacific management company that managed this property was super friendly and willing to help when we had an issue with our rental car during the checkout day. Kudos to them!

Lovely slice of paradise Sean has. Gorgeous view. We often walked down to the beach. Just outside his front door are steps. 2 flights down is ground level and 2-300 feet ahead is the beach. To the far left and right are rock outcroppings which I found meditative to sit on and watch the waves “crash” onto. Sean is consistently quickly responsive - and a nice guy! For restaurants Coco Loco and the long Playa Flamingo beach in front of it has a great vibe and quite good food. It’s not large so you may need to wait several minutes. Sunset there is stupendous. We also loved Tandor, in town. Pretty evident why it’s rated 4.9.
