Vacation rentals with beach access in Playas del Coco

This condo is a perfect place for a family in need of relaxation! The location and the proximity to the beach has exceeded our expectations. The condo is very reasonably priced and is worth every penny! Watching sunsets from the balcony, seeing kids splash in the pool (our kids had the pool completely to themselves), reading a book while hearing the waves, and just feeling at peace was priceless! Restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, freshly baked croissants, smoothies, etc. are all within a 5 min walk from the condo., and the town is very safe to walk any time of day or night. You can go zip lining, horseback riding, driving ATVs, by driving only 15 min. The beautiful Playa Flamingo Marina is a 10 min drive, with shops and restaurants. The host was very responsive, with clear instructions about the check-in and the check-out processes. They even made a reservation for us for a Christmas dinner at one of the local restaurants. We absolutely fell in love with the condo and the town!

Awesome! The studio is great for 2 people, the grounds are beautiful, and the location is perfect. We stayed in the main house last year with family and opted for the studio this time. Nick and his staff are friendly and helpful, and you can't go wrong staying here. We'll be back again.

The apartment was perfect for my husband and I and right on the beach. We enjoyed the balcony and the view. The apartment was in a great location with lots of bars and restaurants.

This rental was awesome, amazing views and a great combination of a beach vacation and things to do in the local town in Marina. The staff it Splendor 360 is awesome and very helpful I would recommend renting a golf cart even if you bring a car it’s a long way up to the property and you have to park your car in the parking garage, which isn’t always the most convenient. but the views and location are definitely worth it. We are definitely consider staying there again.

Would 100% stay here again. Wow the view is stunning. Beds were comfy, ac worked well. Access to the beach right there, pool was nice. Great place and nice neighbors. Had a window blind that was broken when we showed up and management came and took care of it immediately. Beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys and some pool toys were in the closet which we thoroughly enjoyed!! We stayed here on NYE and were able to see fireworks all around sitting on the beach, fantastic way to ring in the new year. Great stay!

We have made 10 trips to Tamarindo/Langosta area. This is second time at this airbnb. Best location -- and it's not close -- of any places I've stayed. Right on the ocean, at quiet end of Tamarindo beach. Sit on patio and listen to the waves. Away from hustle and bustle of Tama but close enough to walk to restaurants, etc. Like walking the beach to Tama for breakfast. Unit is clean, bed is comfortable, kitchen well-enough equipped to cook breakfast and prepare lunches. Not new, but well maintained with small, sunny pool. Like the BBQ on site to grill. Don't go expecting five-star but count on wonderful host on premises and unbeatable beach access.

Elodie's place was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy. it was close enough to all the activities but far enough to have peace and quiet. I was able to go for great runs on the beach each morning and get into town with ease. I would definitely stay there again!

We had an amazing stay! The place is exactly like the photos—beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our family. The kitchen (and outdoor kitchen) made it easy to cook, and the pool was a great place to relax. The neighborhood is quiet but super convenient, with restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance and an easy drive to beaches and other sights. Christian was an incredible host—responsive, helpful, and made sure everything was just right for us. Highly recommend!

Diane’s place is very close to the ocean and within walking distance of the markets and restaurants. Great vacation! Would stay again.

My family enjoyed 11 nights at John’s place. The house was more spacious than expected. All amenities needed were available. We felt safe at the house and surrounding area. The pool was wonderful and we enjoyed it daily. There is a grocery store and 5 restaurants very close by. Tamarindo is about a 15 min walk. We did not have a car. You can rent golf carts if needed. Beaches - Playa Langosta is a very short walk 5 min and you can walk to Tamarindo beach in about 15 min. Tamarindo is busier, it was nice to stay in a quieter area. Howler monkeys were seen morning and night right on the roof of the house and trees in the yard. We also saw iguanas and variegated squirrels in the yards along with a number of birds. Cleaning service was included in the stay the lovely lady came a number of times while we were there. John was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to my many questions prior and during our stay. We would stay again at John’s villa.

We had a great stay at Dirk’s place. The area is very relaxing. Four restaurants nearby and a small mini mart. The house is right next to the entrance to the beach. The beach is spectacular. A few miles long, great surfing, wonderful sunsets, and not crowded compared to the beach at Tarmarindo. We stayed for two weeks. The first week we rented a car to do grocery shopping, etc. The second week we just relaxed using nearby restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed the pool when not at the beach. If you want to go to Tarmarindo it is about a 15 minute walk on the beach to the inlet that separates the two areas, you can then use the locals with their boats to cross. Cost $2 per person. Boats start at 8 and stop at 5. Dirk is a great host. He helped us with renting the car, and was generous with his recommendations. Look forward to returning.

We loved our stay at Casa Querencia. We unfortunately had a lot of rain, it is rainy season so understandable, but having the outdoor patio was amazing to still enjoy the outdoors. We enjoyed the beautiful landscaped backyard with a pool plus birds, iguanas and monkeys. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. Al was a great host!

Jake’s place is absolutely fantastic. It’s bigger and nicer than the photos suggest. It was a great place to have as home base for a week. We travelled with our 10 month old and the layout was great for having children. The location is wonderful, it is a safe, quiet and secure complex with private entry to the beach. The ocean is only a few meters away and the views from the condo and balcony are amazing. We could see the water and listen to the waves as well as watch wildlife such and monkeys and iguanas in the trees. The beach itself is terrific and much quieter than Tamarindo. The pool was recently remodeled and is beautiful and was a great place to retreat during the heat of the day. Several restaurants and a market are within easy walking distance. Jake is super friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

House had everything you need and located in a great spot!

The place is wonderful, clean, private and welcoming. We will definitely return my family. Vidal was aware of anything we needed. We felt very safe.

Arrived at 9 PM. There was still parking available. There was a 24-hour onsite security guard that said "hi". Within 20 minutes we were in the unit and had the car entirely unloaded. The apartment is a small 2-bedroom 1-bath but the patio on the roof is the size of the entire apartment, giving plenty of room for a family. The patio has a covered dining table that easily seats 6, and nice patio furniture that would also seat 6. Our family ate dinner on the patio instead of in the apartment. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes, even with kids, and the beach was great for the kids to play on. Surf was only 1-2 feet and the water was warm. I could walk out 100 feet and the water was only up to my shoulders. The pool was nice, but not large, and was always in use. Our family was the largest group there and didn't feel crowded in the pool.

This was a wonderful stay at Stephanie’s condo. The condo was on the 2nd floor and the building was secure with a gate. Easy quick walk to the Main Street and water. We felt very comfortable and safe. Stephanie responded quickly to any questions and had very helpful ideas. The inside of the condo was so cute, beachy vibe, newly remodeled and has everything we needed including many towels and a washer and dryer. We loved this spot and would highly recommend it. You do not need a car to get around but if you have one, parking is no problem. Thanks for everything Stephanie!

My wife, our friend and I spent a wonderful 5 nights in Brandon's lovely condo in Playa Flamingo. Brandon's home was very well-located, comfortable and fun, and Brandon was very helpful and responsive. We can't say enough about Playa Flamingo. It's got modern touches, like several great restaurants within walking distance, and it's also a great jumping-off point for visiting other towns and beaches. We're already missing the fabulous views from the balcony, relaxing at the beautiful and comfortable pool, and our walks and swims on lovely Play Flamingo!

We loved our stay at Katie & Happy’s. So much so that we are considering booking again for next year’s vacation already. Perfect distance from town. Perfect distance from the beach. Great local amenities. Check in with seamless. The place was spotless. The photos of the pool do not do the pool area justice. Thank you so much for hosting us Katie and Happy. Could not reccomend this place more.

Daphne was a very responsive, pragmatic and kind host. She provided us with tons of great recommendations and her condo was very clean. The pool was perfect for our toddler and the beach was very close (30sec driving). We couldn’t check in until 2 days after our original arrival date as our toddler was sick before and Daphne kindly extended the check out to 12pm. I would highly recommend staying at Daphne’s condo to any family with young children!

Vincent's Tamarindo condo is a traditional CR condo in a location that is convenient to the Beach, downtown Tamarindo and other walkable locations. It is on a side road off one of the main Tamarindo roads. True addresses don't really exist in Costa Rica so be sure to get GPS coordinates for wayfinding. We had to pick up keys at a different location and were driving in the dark, so was a bit difficult but were helped by someone at Horizon Pacific properties (very nice.). Would be great to have keys onsite for ease of arrival. Vincent's place was very clean, EXTREMELY well-supplied kitchen and thoughtful gift and amenities. Complex was a mix of renters and long-term residents and there is a small pool to use. It felt very safe and secure. The condo was generally quiet and easy to keep zone-cool. Be aware that this part of CR does not flush toilet paper, FYI (had not run into this before in CR.). Vincent was very friendly, offered suggestion and was very responsive; would stay here again!

Beautiful and clean condo with the most gorgeous view ever! Large deck on which to relax after a day at the beach. We would highly recommend this condo!
