Monthly Rentals in Sithayankottai

We had a pleasant stay! The property is about 12-16 km from Kodaikanal, but we truly enjoyed it. It’s a private space that can comfortably accommodate around twelve people. The kitchen was clean, and for the first time, I saw beds and mattresses so spotless that they didn’t even need covers! Caretaker Selvan was very friendly, making us feel right at home. Hosts Amitabh and his father were always responsive and ensured a smooth stay.

We went to this place as a group of 13 and the manager was very proactive and made sure everything was communicated as soon as we booked the place. The care taker contacts a day before and gives directions, details about food so that you can choose what to do. A lot of previous reviews mentioned power issues but we didn't face any. Had power throughout our stay. The plantations and gardens surrounding the property were also nice and picture worthy. Would definitely recommend the place for 1-2 day stay if you are just planning to chill and relax. If you want something closer to Kodaikanal, then this is not the right place since it is about 1-1.5 hrs from Kodaikanal.

A gem of a place. Easily one of the nicest Airbnbs we have stayed in. The hosts, Helene and Vishnu, their family, and the local community who work in the farm are lovely people. They are around for all queries, but leave you with ample privacy. The cottage is tastefully done, it seamlessly blends into the setting and each nook and corner allows the outside to creep in. Nature provides the rest of the magic, it’s beautiful beyond description. We do hope that we’ll be able to visit again.
