Sommarro was the dream getaway - peaceful and homely, beautiful gardens and excellent furnishings. Close enough to walk to Kodaikanal and Vattakanal without needing a car, but far enough away to be peaceful. Anita and the caretaker, Mercy, both went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible and gave great local recommendations. We will be back for sure

We are a family of 7 and recently visited Kodaikanal. We were looking for a spacious and comfortable place to stay, and we found Jarcanda Villa. It was the perfect place for our family! The villa is a beautiful vintage property that is very well maintained, with plenty of space for everyone. The rooms were cozy and well-equipped, making sure we felt at home. We especially loved the peaceful surroundings and the breathtaking views. The host was incredibly friendly and ensured we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. One of the highlights was the barbecue – it was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend everyone try it. The campfire experience in Kodaikanal’s cool climate was unforgettable and really added a special touch to our trip. While a few things in the bathroom could use some attention, these minor negatives are completely overshadowed by the positives of the property. We highly recommend Jarcanda Villa to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and enjoyable getaway!!!

I had an amazing stay at a super clean and well-maintained Airbnb in Kodaikanal. The rooms were neat and tidy, with a stunning view from both the balcony and bedroom. The location was calm, quiet, and private, yet easily accessible to the main town. The kitchen was fully equipped with a cooking gas stove and fridge, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Although car parking was 50 meters away, it wasn’t a hassle. The helpful caretaker made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, a perfect spot for a peaceful and memorable getaway!

Exceptional services, beautiful stay. Shakuntala was very warm, hosted us for tea, has a lovely super friendly pet. Her place talks of mindful planning and nuanced architectural design elements. We could see the Milky Way at night with bare eyes. Super cleanliness and super peaceful environment. Loved every bit of it.

The host and the manager welcomed us properly. The host gave us early check-in which helped us a lot. The food from the local kitchen (home made food) is of little expensive but the taste if by far the best in the town. I would surely come and stay for sure and will recommend the villa.

I stayed here for almost 4 days, I felt like home. Everything was perfect. The location was indeed beautiful and safe. I definetly would prefer coming over again and again. Moreover George was very helpful and responsive and caretaker was kind and friendly, thank you.

Property was really give the feel if staying british bunglow and peacful location and sunrise veiw and sun set is surreal. Rooms are Same like the picture and host raj is very responsive and pro active and staff as very well manner. Best place for enjoy the art of slow life
