Family friendly places to stay in Vagamon

The property was clean and shown accurately on the listing. Sony gave us a tour and waited pretty late into the night for us. Our stay was very peaceful and the locale was good for a taking a stroll into the night.

Emill is an amazing host. He was proactive to call and check on us as we were late for the check in. He received us personally and gave all the instructions needed for our stay at his place. He also recommended few of the tourists spots we could visit nearby which really helped us. Thank you for hosting us Emil..!! It was a great stay..!!

This was the absolute dream destination! The perfect place to relax and enjoy a happy and memorable holiday. We were a group of 10 people, looking to spend a weekend in vagamon and jose's place turned out to be a wonderful choice. Everything was perfect . The host was very proactive in the communication and arranging everything we requested for. Rajesh's cooking was a wonderful addon. Anyone looking to spend time in vagamon, this is going to be a perfect choice.

The stay was really good. We had an amazing time. Will surely book the apartment whenever we visit Kerala next time!

Our stay at Philip’s bungalow was very pleasant and felt so comfortably homely. The bungalow is situated overlooking tea plantations and there are great views from the grounds to the nearby hillsides. The rooms are very large with high ceilings and furnished with antique furniture. The bathrooms were very clean. The staff at the premises were very helpful and took care of all our needs. More than anything else we enjoyed the peace and calm there. We really enjoyed the house and the grounds. Would love to visit again and I would recommend it to friends and family.

Shyam's place is exactly what you need to cute daily city tiredness. Quietly nestled away with a private stream, the property is often covered my mists.

Aaqhil place was really amazing,I had gone with my family.The host was really responsive and very helpful,Mr Shinod was really taking care of us well and was very attentive and helpful in local recommendations ,activities and food. The view from this place is really beautiful and there is a beautiful garden well maintained with all types of fruits and vegetables .I would definitely recommend this place.Its worth it.

Very beautiful and quiet surroundings. But the approach Road was slightly difficult to navigate.. Last 100 mts only one vehicle can pass. Also mobile range is poor so difficult to call and ask for directions. Food was nice for a 2 day stay but more than that can get repetitive. Not too many places to eat close by.. Atleast have to drive half an hour for a restaurant. For the price you pay it was definitely worth it.

The Mountain Villa is such a special place. Our three young kids and we marveled at the views, gardens, and wild animals we encountered on the property: skinks, stick insects, tree frogs, huge butterflies, and four different types of beautiful non-venomous snakes. What an adventure. And the food served by the kind and attentive staff was like having the best home cooked food, out on a deck overhanging a spectacular cliffside at sunset. For activities outside the villa, the pine forest was far too crowded and small for us, but the Windy Forest Trek about 45 min drive away was a highlight and we saw a wild elephant. Thank you to this amazing team for creating such a magical space and sharing it with us.

Our stay at Santhosh and his wife’s rental house in Kumily was truly delightful. From the warm and welcoming hospitality to the immaculate and spacious interiors, everything exceeded expectations. The house boasts large, well-maintained rooms with spotless bathrooms and a reliable supply of warm water. The fully equipped kitchen was a bonus, featuring excellent facilities, including extra purified drinking water. Ample extra beds ensured maximum comfort, and the round-the-clock assistance made our stay hassle-free. Whether for a short visit or an extended stay, this house offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful one-night stay with family at this property! The place is new, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained. The large room, spacious hall, balcony, and bathrooms made our stay extra comfortable and relaxing. Its location is perfect—right near Kuttikanam town and conveniently situated on the main road. Though it was a short stay, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area!

I had booked this stay with my family. This place is newly listed in Airbnb and is fabulous. The property is very spacious and has a very good parking space within the premises .More than 2 cars can be easily parked. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary items. The house was kept very clean and the place is very peaceful. Mr Prakash who is the caretaker of the home was very helpful and cooperative. Host was very helpful in providing the check in details on time and other instructions. Our stay was very memorable and I would recommend this stay anyone who loves to stay in the midst of nature.

Abraham is a gentleman host and proactive in his communications. His place exceeds the description and photos you see in Airbnb. The last 400 meters is a bit rough, but can be handled with careful driving. The pool looks like it's still under construction and once completed it will be an excellent addition. It's still usable, and we had a lot of fun in the water. The property is surrounded by greenery and mostly you will be hearing the birds singing and chirping. The food prepared by the inhouse chef is excellent, though one may have to stick to Kerala/TN cuisine. There is a restaurant just 500m from the property. Highly recommended property if you are planning for a get together. Probably some board games and a shuttle net will be a worthwhile addition.

Our family had an amazing stay at On The Rocks. The location is serene and beautiful. The cottage is perched up on the hill true to its name “On the Rocks” and offer an amazing view to the mountains through its big glass windows. The caretaker, Rashiq is very friendly and hospitable. We loved his home cooked meals and knowledgeable of the location. Highly recommended and would love to go back!
