Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Playa Mantas

The house is super clean, check in was easy, and the area surrounding the house is beautiful. Jose was more than helpful and easy to communicate with from beginning to the end of our stay. I wanted a vacation with nature, beaches, hikes, and quality local food and got all of that. Definitely plan on returning and or recommending others book the place if they visit Costa Rica. Thanks again to Jose, highly recommended!

Amazing place! My son went for his birthday and after spending a night on another Airbnb that was horrible, this was an oasis in the desert. The open kitchen to prepare food while the guy enjoyed the pool which is large and shaded enough, the rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable, quite ventilation and light. Maria Laura was attentive to our messages and Juanita helped us with the wi-fi, very friendly on 2. We had an amazing time, and we hope to return.

Rosana Gary's place in Playa Pita is really special - an immaculately maintained large and beautiful house 5 minutes from a wonderful beach; a trail into the rain forest is steps from driveway. It's maybe ten minutes walk to very good restaurants. Carara National Park is a 5-10 minute drive; the Crocodile Bridge is ~ 5 minutes farther. The small pool on the porch was great for cooling off in the afternoon. To see everything in the area, you probably want a car. We didn't have a car and instead relied on Manuel, Rosana and Gary's driver, to take us around. We can't say enough about how helpful Manuel was. Rosana and Gary were both quick to communicate, answering all our questions. Again, this is a wonderful place to stay. I quit counting the number of scarlet macaws we saw after getting to 35. A tip, first listen for their chattering ~ 5 - 10 meters up.

I'm conflicted on writing this review because I want the house to be available next time I come back and anyone that stays here will definitely stay again! The location is at the south end of Jaco on the main road. We had a very short walk to the beach and a couple of restaurants in the immediate area. Everything else was within a less than 5 minute drive. The house itself was perfect for our group of 5 guys and could have held even more. The house was beautiful and clean. We had plenty of privacy but did not feel like we were too far from anywhere. The pool is a must and it was perfect for our stay. The air conditioning in each room worked great to keep us cool during the warmer days. The team was very responsive with any and all needs. We received recommendations for local places that we can say were great recommendations. I have no regrets staying at Fishbonz and would GLADLY book this stay over and over. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

This property in Bajamar was nice and peaceful. The location is hard to beat. The Sand and Ocean as your backyard was very nice and peaceful. The Ocean isn't safe to swin in, but Sitting on the sand listening to the waves and watching the sunset is hard to match. The Home is very well spread out, with the bedrooms apart from the Kitchen and rancho were you can hang out and cook. If someone wants to sleep in or go to bed early, the rest of the group can be at the other part and not bother those wanting to sleep.

Chris was a great host. Very helpful and responsive. The place was great for our family of 4. The kitchen had all the cutlery and utensils. Chris brought some groceries from their kitchen to help us out. Hollie baked some delicious cupcakes for my family. The place is a little off the beaten path and a little tough to drive to during heavy rains. However, the view from the balcony and the bedrooms is just amazing. We sat there almost all of our time just looking at the jungle, the ocean in the distance, and listening to the sounds of nature surrounding us. My kids loved reading their books in the hammock listening to the birds and the rainfall. This was a great place to unwind and recharge. We went to the beaches and restaurants in town (about 15-30 minutes away), but for the most part we preferred staying at the cabin. My wife and I enjoyed our morning walks on the mountain road seeing the colorful birds fly by. We would love to come back in the future. Thanks Chris and Hollie.

Wonderful secure and clean new building with great amenities within a few steps from the beach and many restaurants. Unit is spacious, view is amazing, and host is friendly and responsive.

It was great to stay at Sira’s place. I enjoyed walking to Jaco beach 🏖️ it found myself at the beach 🏝️ every morning 6-7am or 7-8am doing fitness on the beach with a local fitness trainer Daniel. It was near Jaco and many quaint places to eat. The house is super safe and beautiful. I loved the garden and extra touches. It felt right at home and would recommend this house to anyone visiting Jaco. Thanks Sira. It’s a beautiful dream beach home and there is lots to do in Jaco and various wonderful grocery stores as well!

The apartment is very nice and comfortable (as seen in the photos) and is also very spacious, quite large and with a lot of privacy for an apartment building. In addition, it is impeccable and has everything you need for a pleasant stay: we feel at home at all times. Access was so easy. The place is beautiful, the pool area is large and you can see that it is given proper maintenance, as it is kept clean and in excellent condition. Direct beach access from the pool is great. Pamela and Sergio are excellent hosts, always attentive to any questions, we wanted to stay one more night and they helped us at all times. It is advisable to arrive with all the purchases made so you don't have to leave the place, however if you need to go out Herradura is 15-20 minutes away and there you have supermarkets, restaurants and everything you may need. Super recommended, a place I would definitely come back to as many times as I can.

Communication and responsiveness were excellent. House staff were very generous and friendly (groundskeeper brought us complementary bananas and coconuts). The only issue was that on the first night the sheets had a noticeable odor, but by the next day they had rectified it, offering complementary laundry service as an apology. We used the common room for eating meals and playing lots of ping pong. The beach is 5 minute walk and it's not the best beach for swimming but the sunsets were gorgeous.

We loved this place! Mary was such a great host! From making sure we were comfortable to giving us enough parking space, and even helped us with the check-out time. The place is beautiful and has everything you’d need! Definitely will come back!

Claudia's place is beautiful, clean with a great location. The kitchen is well equipped and bedding is very comfortable. The views from the balcony are peaceful and relaxing. Claudia's guide book is spot on for activities. If your visiting Jaco I would highly recommend this unit. Dave & Karen

Close to downtown, the apartment is super clean, the hosts are very attentive and friendly. I liked it.

It was really close to the beach. It was nice to be able to have our laundry done for us. Within walking distance to lots of great places to eat!

Great place to stay! We had a view of Jaco Beach from our balcony. This place was modern, safe and walking distance to the beach. Parking was very safe and private. I highly recommend to anyone going to Costa Rica. Anytime we had questions they were very quick to respond.

Beautiful place! Both the condo which is very beautiful, very pleasant with its terrace as the beach which is extraordinary! This is a building that has great security. Caretakers monitor those who come in & out. There are strict guidelines at the pool but we had no inconvenience with that. The condo was not ready for the indicated time, but it is possible that there was a delay, and there are not enough utensils for the required number of people but that wouldn't stop me from coming back. A place that I would highly recommend!

The place is amazing. Very clean and a great view. Everything you can think of is available in the apartment. We had a great time. We loved the location, the beach, the pool and proximity to the local restaurants. They have beach towels, beach chairs, everything you need in the kitchen and many other things like books and games. I would highly recommend this place.

Jose’s Penthouse was perfect. This was our third trip to Jaco and we came with more people so needed a larger place and this definitely met our needs. We had 7 people and there was plenty of room for everyone to hang out together or even find some alone time if needed. The view was amazing and the pool was extraordinary; it was well maintained, nicely designed and there was always a lifeguard. Thank you so much…we will be back!

Spotless and clean condo in a stunning resort. 10 steps from a pool and gym with excellent security and services. Everything was perfect!

Christians place was fantastic! The villa was very clean and comfortable. The pool was lovely during the hot days in Jaco. It’s a short walk to the beach and many local restaurants. I would definitely stay here again :)

Absolutely awesome place

The villa was absolutely beautiful, just as pictured! The host was an excellent communicator, responding quickly to all our questions. The place was spotless. The location was perfect, with a beach just a 5-minute walk away and great restaurants within walking distance. Having access to the laundry room was a great convenience. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a comfortable and picturesque place to stay.
