Family-friendly vacation rentals in Nosara

Great place in the middle of everything. We really enjoyed the stayed with the family.

Erin & Peter are great host, they are great communicating if anything happens or needs to be addressed. House is stunning with a priceless view of the beach. About a ten minute ride into Nosara. You can tell Erin & Peter care about their tenants and that is worth a lot when traveling. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at the Lapa house. Carrillo is a nice quiet village and it’s a < 10 min walk to the beach. The accommodations were comfortable and Pia was very quick to respond to any questions or provide us with anything we needed.

Wonderful location within walking distance to the beach and to local restaurants. The house was spacious and had a nice shaded pool and patio. The host was hard to get ahold of prior to our arrival, however, we had much better communication once we got to town. The house had plenty of room for a large group— the downstairs bedroom had two bunk beds that slept four people, the second bedroom had a queen size bed and a bunk bed, and the master bedroom had a king size bed. The hosts provided a safe, an alarm and a guard at night during evening hours which helped us feel safe. The design of the house is modern and simple. We loved our stay and would return again.

We had a very nice stay in Marbella. Unfortunately we had some troubles with the boiler and electricity but Ruthy and the other hosts were always quick to respond and very helpful. Would definitely recommend!

What an awesome place! My family and I stayed in this beauty for 17 days and it was simply amazing. The pictures are good, but even better in person. The views are simply breathtaking. The condo was very clean and well equipped with everything to make you feel right at home. The beds and furniture were comfy. We will definitely be back and stay at Maria's! Pura Vida

Awesome location with no people. Very isolated which was awesome. You can hear the ocean from the bedroom and living area. We have already booked our return trip. It is an Eden experience. Love the place and will be back soon.

It is a beautiful place. The house is very spacious, well equipped with everything you need and more, plus the pool is always clean. There is a lot of tranquility and zero noise from the third floor you have an incredible view, you should consider that the beaches if they are a little far away and the paths are not in very good condition. Gerardo, his Administrator is very friendly and is always attentive to what you need. In the end, my whole family really enjoyed, and we hope to return.

The appartement is very close to the lovely Playa Pelada and just a 15 mins walk from Playa Nosara. It is a quite place and you have a litte shop and some restaurants super close by. Also the kitchen in the appartement is quite functional, if you preferre to cook yourself. And is hot : ) Federica is a nice host, commundation with her is fast and easy. Great place, even better than the photos! About a 15-20 minute walk to the main town in Samara or the beach. Cindry was super responsive and easy to communicate with. We were lucky enough to see some howler monkeys hanging out in the trees above one morning! Highly recommended place to stay if visiting Samara!

Big Marlin is magical! The location and house are dreamy. Its a lovely walk into town along the beach, and views from the house are delightful. Adrian the host is extremly responsive and helpful, and Roxanne the housekeeper who lives on site is just remarkable. I look forward to our next years stay already.

Our family had a fabulous stay this past week at Patrick’s place. The photos don’t do the house and grounds justice. We watched the sun rise over the hills and set over the Pacific from the benches at the top of the cliffs each day. As others mentioned, the wildlife was never far away. We watched whales while swimming in the pool and were able to see howler monkeys, parrots and a big fat toad in the area daily. There was also a family of white faced monkeys not too far down the street. The house was quiet, pool was refreshing and the bedroom ACs kept the rooms cool at night. Dimas wasn’t far away if anything was needed and always responded quickly. Enjoy the beauty of the area and everything Carrillo and Samara have to offer from this location. We look forward to returning again next year.

Great place very comfortable can be a little far away but for us it's what we wanted , extremely intimate. Howler monkey in the courtyard.

This was my third trip to Samara and my third time staying with Elena and Francesco. As they have always been, they were excellent hosts - super responsive, helpful and friendly. The accommodation suits a mother daughter duo, a couple or two couples, as I have experienced all scenarios. Super clean, well equipped, and walkable to everything! Would recommend again and again!

We enjoyed our Samara stay and Kevins house. The walk to town along the beach was beautiful but we did run into times where you could not pass and walking to town on the roads was far and very difficult. Driving to town was easy. I would recommend this location if you have your own transportation. We had excellent guides and fun with Samara Sea Tours and they operated off of the beach right at this location. Location was ideal for kayaking out to Isle Chora and for Playa Carillo Beach.

They were very friendly and helpful, always looking out for us, the place has beautiful views, we enjoyed the sunsets too much from the house, away from the city bulla, a lot of nature the ocean view is wonderful, the beds are super rich, the kitchen with everything to prepare food food, the bathrooms are very clean and pleasant!!! Thanks for having us!

This was our second time back at Åsa's place - we absolutely love it. The breezes, the view, the open and peaceful space. We loved being perched just above town - and yet still just an easy drive to town - where the beach is in constant view and the sunsets are unbeatable. The team managing the place is kind and responsive and they set up a lovely massage therapy session for us and referred us to great spots to have lunch and buy fresh fish. This is definitely the way to visit Nosara.

Huber was a wonderful host. He was super responsive when we had questions. We loved staying here. The deck overlooking the jungle is fabulous and the swings make it so wonderful! It was beautiful sitting out there for morning coffee and meditation, naps and evening star and moon gazing. The Chalet was very clean and the staff came each week to clean, change the sheets/ towels which we really appreciated. There's a path that you can walk to the beach so you don't have to get into your car. The Saturday Farmers Market is great and during the week we were able to get what we needed from the bodega in the center of town. We will definitely be back

Even better than the photos! Incredible view, very peaceful and private. Spectacular wildlife sightings every day. The house is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Easy to get to the beaches and into town. Would love to return some day!

We went over Christmas and had a wonderful time! The place was comfortable, fun for families to eat together, play games, and hangout. The pool was nice too. Sinai the housekeeper was incredibly friendly and a great cook too. The house was easy to walk to get surf boards and surf, go to Bohdi Tree for yoga, and walk into town, but still quiet and private. The owners are incredibly responsive and helpful (ie getting food ahead, recommendation for surf school/rental, etc.).

This house was perfect for our family of 12. It was well stocked with necessities such as towels and dishes. The house is clean and comfortable with a view that can't be beat. We got to see a lot of birds, butterflies, and howler monkeys while hanging out on the deck or at the pool. The housekeeper and gardener took excellent care of the property while we were there, and the staff at Surfing Nosara was available any time we needed them and were very helpful in arranging activities for us. I would highly recommend staying at this home and hope to go back!
