Monthly Rentals in Lake Lure

“Best one yet,” to quote my husband. We LOVED calling this adorable and private accommodation of Rose’s our home away from home for the 12 days we spent in Chimney Rock. Everything that we needed and more was provided. Rose is delightful and made us feel so welcomed. The village of Chimney Rock, nestled in the Hickory Nut Gorge, is a treasure with restaurants and plenty of little shops that are walkable from this location. And the star of the show, Chimney Rock State Park, is directly behind Rose’s house, just a 3-mile jaunt up the mountain. Rose’s garden alone is a gem to behold, located right outside your door. We loved the privacy of the location, as well as the peace and quiet that was afforded to us after busy days hiking and exploring this magnificent region. We were thrilled to see a few other residents of this area from time to time, members of the black bear population. So if you are searching for an authentic experience when coming to Chimney Rock, this is the place!

This is a perfect spot when visiting the area. There is much to do in the surrounding areas, but having access to the Rumbling Bald resort is a great perk. Great place, great location, and great host! I know I will be back again!

Anna was very responsive and made us feel right at home. This was a last-minute getaway and she immediately responded to let us know everything we needed to do. Definitely will use in the future if we ever come back to this area! She has a beautiful home!

The hosts were really hospitable and friendly. The bus was well stocked with snacks, water and supplies. It’s extremely convenient and close to our family.. we will definitely be renting again. Thank you, Eric and and Kaitlyn.
