Western North Carolina vacation rentals

Not a bad deal for the price. Cabin is not insulated and get's cold at night. I'd recommend a few blankets or sleeping bag in the colder months which I believe she recommended. You need to meet with the owner at check in where she goes over rules etc. She also drove by to caution us about the campfire in the presence of winds. Overall, I felt the property was well worth the price.

Roger is an exceptional host, he went above and beyond to assist us when there was an issue with our online booking. Cabin was very clean and had great views. Definitely plan on visiting again!!

The location of this cabin was perfect! Michelle & Jason were easy to contact and they responded immediately. They provided easy instructions to check in and check out. The cabin had plenty of space. I highly recommended their cabin!

This is just a lovely place up on a mountain! Even if you don't have an SUV or AWD, don't let the driveway scare you. Our Miata NC made it up multiple times with no problems. Take the advice of the cabin owner and go slow in low gear. The cabin was clean, comfortable and spacious. It is a peaceful, quiet and scenic spot. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch rockers and relaxing. You will be away from the action/hubbub of Fontana Village and Bryson City, but can get to either in 30-40 minutes. This was much better for us than renting several hotel rooms. The kitchen has everything you need. The hot tub area was nice, too. Owner communicates well and quickly. Thanks, Christina!

Accurate photographs of the room and surroundings. Perfect directions to find the location. I just wish there was an extra blanket. I have no other complaints about this listing and I would stay again.

Our stay at the cabin was very relaxing. We wanted spend our days going out and exploring Helen and near by parks, while we had a peaceful place to stay at night to relax. Bonnie's place was perfect. It was far better then I think can be described. It had plenty of space to comfortably stretch out, eat, talk, and even soak to relax after long days hiking. We loved the cabin feel, design, and simplicity as well. it's location is perfect for privacy. There are other cabins there, but this one seemed to be the most private. It was very clean and well supplied. We had everything we needed for the most comfortable stay. Thank you Bonnie!

Beautiful scenery and wonderful amenities! Instructions were clear and simple for check in and check out. I enjoyed the ping pong table. The cows and animals were an amazing addition to th beautiful surroundings.

The pictures don't do this place justice. It's been remodeled very nicely, and the views are amazing! It's evident that the owner travels and knows what is needed in a vacation rental. Our family was very comfortable for 4 nights. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook every day. As someone from "flat Florida" the part I enjoyed the least was the "adventurous" drive to the house. It may be no big deal for others, but I found it to be stressful. The drive is narrow, steep and turns to gravel about halfway up. We made it perfectly fine in an Infiniti SUV, but I wouldn't recommend arriving after dark, at least for the first night. Thankfully our stay was flexible, and we were able to come and go during the daylight hours which made me feel much more comfortable. No worries though, the stress from the drive quickly melted away once I took in the views from the porch/living area/MBR and I would stay here again. Our family of 6 went on our first ski trip at Sugar Mountain and Appalachian Mountain and stayed in Faith's condo. We loved the location. Walkable to many restaurants. We walked to get ice cream at night. Short drive to Sugar Mountain. Condo was very clean and spacious. Faith was very responsive with questions and concerns. We had a little mishap where the bed frame broke the first night upon sitting on the bed (he is 190 pounds). We had to make do and share 2 bedrooms between the 6 of us. Faith had the bed fixed by the next day and refunded us a small portion for the inconvenience. We were grateful for her responsiveness. I can see other Airbnb owners blaming the renters and charging them extra instead. Overall a great experience and great memories for our first ski trip. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Wonderful views! Kate was a responsive host and the home was very clean and comfortable. Amazingly comfortable beds. We look forward to staying again.

Driving up the road to the place was a little different especially at night. But we did get used to it. The nest was beautifully appointed with great decorations that made you feel like you were in a cabin. The place was outstanding, one of the better hosts that I’ve ever had interaction with. A few things that I would add to the property but all in all everything that you really need. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty as I was trying to do some work. Great location in Maggie Valley so close to so many things. If you definitely want to be up in the mountains with outstanding views, this is the place for you. The newly added outdoor fireplace was great to have.

This AirBnB in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains was a wonderful place to get away from it all. The view from the cabin's deck was great. It was a bit of a rocky climb to get there by car, but totally worth it. Lewis was also very helpful in responding to our concerns about flooding due to heavy rain one of te nights we stayed. Overall a great experience!

My wife and I wanted to have a little get away for our 6 year anniversary, and we’re so glad we chose Julie’s place. It was super pretty inside and out, it was in a very quiet and relaxing area. Not only that but the view of the mountains and landscape from the sunroom, as well as the patio was absolutely gorgeous. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the tub, and how relaxing it was to soak in it. I loved most how Julie is dog friendly and our furry child loved running around in the dog yard. We are most definitely going to be planning to return again soon. This is the perfect spot if you want peace and seclusion. It is about a 20 minute drive to sights and amenities (groceries). Very clean, lots of games if you get bored, and the kitchen is well-stocked. We were just a couple vacationing but it would have been a great house had we any children or friends in tow. Gorgeous view
