We really enjoyed our stay. Great communication, excellent location that was walkable to downtown but also peaceful and quiet. Very comfortable and we loved the private hot tub. Will stay again!

We loved our stay at Shopes Cottage. The home is beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the afternoon, after hiking in the national park in the am. The location is very close to the park! We also loved the hot tub in the evenings. The host was very quick to respond when we had any questions. No bears, because…hibernation.

Mary was very responsive, friendly, and gave helpful recommendations. The house was very clean and quaint, had everything we needed, and was very cozy. Enjoyed our stay!

We stayed there for a few nights and it was so peaceful and relaxing! It was just like the pictures and Colby and Hilary were extremely helpful when we had any questions. The location was beautiful and I wish we could’ve stayed there longer. I definitely recommend to everyone!

Our stay in the cottage was great! We were 10 total - 8 adults and 2 kids - and we wish we would’ve rented for another day. Spacious and comfy, the cottage provided both privacy and options to hang out together. The coffee bar and game room were a big hit! The hosts were extremely responsive.

Couldn’t have been more charming! From the hammock to the trails and fire pit, the home was the perfect, stress free getaway in the cutest town. Clean and comfortable, I’d recommend this stay to anyone!

We had a truly wonderful time here! Mike was the most amazing host, and greeted us when we arrived. We appreciated the welcome bottle of wine, the cozy cottage, and beautiful yard. Most importantly, I forgot my work laptop when I left, and Mike was so understanding and responsive. He arranged for next-day shipping, which put my distraught mind at ease. I’m so grateful for Mike’s hospitality and trustworthiness! We will absolutely stay here again the next time we are in Asheville. Thank you!!

I’ve stayed at the cottage a couple of times when flying in for work, and it’s always been a clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay. It’s perfect for a getaway or simply to rest during a work trip. Carrie is always responsive and accommodating, making the stay even better. Highly recommend!

The Geode Cottage is lovely. I was there during the recent storm. Adam and Katherine made sure I was safe and secure and checked on me often. They are extremely thoughtful and caring. I would recommend the cottage to anyone planning a short or long stay in the area.

Everything was perfect! The cottage is very homey and spotlessly clean. We felt right at home,comfortable and location is great just outside the busy tourist area. We truly appreciate the dog friendly accommodations and special touches! Highly recommend, we plan on coming back!

Beautiful place to stay in the woods. The kids had plenty of places to run outside and they really enjoyed the kayaks and playing in the pond.

This is a perfect space for a couple. The scenery was so calming, the bed comfortable, and the location convenient to many restaurants, sites, and shopping. We will definitely choose to stay at Hope’s again if we travel this way!

This was an amazing place. Very peaceful and beautiful especially if you get to catch the area on a full moon. You also need to order a breakfast at least once during your stay. The food was absolutely amazing and filling. It was also a great deal for everything you got. Enjoyed the stay immensely and was a great deal also.

Me and my partner had a beautiful stay here at this lovely place. The scenery was beautiful, the animals were the cutest things, and the inside was nice and cozy. The host was wonderful, very attentive and helpful with my questions, made us feel right at home. I definitely recommend this place for solo/couples to stay if they want a moment to get away and reconnect. Would definitely come back and stay again. :)

The cottage was very quaint and cozy but it feels bigger than it appears in the photos. It was perfect for our stay and I would be glad to stay there again if the opportunity arises.
