Cottage vacation rentals in Western North Carolina

This was the first vacation that me and my fiancée have been on just the two of us and we loved it! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay/go to! It was perfect and will definitely be back again!

This place is very nice and clean. The location and property are beautiful with a great view of the lake. Laura is friendly and responsive. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved our time in the woods! Jay’s cabin was just right for 2 friends - the king bed, full kitchen, hot tub, and porch were all lovely.

Great spot near Ober Mountain and quick drive to downtown. Gorgeous views and the place was clean, updated, and beautiful. Driveway is a little uneasy at first but not bad after getting used to it. Awesome place!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! My friend and I felt so at peace at Mary’s home! It was so charming, clean, and bright! You can hear the river from her place as it’s very close. The hot tub was great and all her instructions were clear and reasonable. Great communicating with her. Highly recommend!!

Everything was as advertised. Very quiet and private with the fencing in the back yard. They also had firewood and everything you needed to enjoy outside. Very clean, and comfortable!

Quaint little house within walking distance to the Strip in Gatlinburg but still very peaceful and quiet. The house was very clean, beds were super comfortable, plenty of room for relaxing after a day of exploring. Dondi was very nice with plenty of recommendations for the area and very responsive with any questions. We had a great stay and would definitely choose to stay again while visiting. Perfect Valentine's Weekend Getaway.

Convenient spot. Loved the hot tub. Kitchen was good for some basic cooking.

Our stay in the cottage was great! We were 10 total - 8 adults and 2 kids - and we wish we would’ve rented for another day. Spacious and comfy, the cottage provided both privacy and options to hang out together. The coffee bar and game room were a big hit! The hosts were extremely responsive.

Luis and Tamara were wonderful hosts. They communicated proactively about a winter storm that hit while I was there: they made sure I had everything I needed and we warm (the cabin had all the heaters, blankets, and even logs for a cast iron stove I was free to use). When I was ready to venture out after the snow, they helped make sure I knew the best way to go, opened the gate for me and even cleaned the snow off my car while the car warmed up. I got to meet their dog Buddy and learned a little bit about the history of the land the structures. All of this and I STILL experienced privacy. And of course; the welcome note and banana nut bread were a nice touch). Can’t wait to come back in the spring! This will always be my first choice when visiting family!

Lindsey's cottage was just as described and a great getaway from the city for our family. A++ Highly recommend.

Beautiful property! Exactly like the pictures. The deck is amazing and extremely peaceful ! This a perfect place for a quick getaway. Jenna is a wonderful host. From booking to check out: she was especially accommodating to my last minute request and very responsive! I would definitely book again!

Sweet spot! Quiet and easy walking distance to restaurants, grocery, downtown, trails, and Asheville Yoga Center! Very clean, cozy propane fireplace, and sweet bathtub.

The place was absolutely perfect for us and our puppies! I would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was amazing! Close to downtown and the Purple Martin Greenway. Carrie has thought of all the little details to make her visitors feel right at home.

The Geode Cottage is lovely. I was there during the recent storm. Adam and Katherine made sure I was safe and secure and checked on me often. They are extremely thoughtful and caring. I would recommend the cottage to anyone planning a short or long stay in the area.

Everything was perfect! The cottage is very homey and spotlessly clean. We felt right at home,comfortable and location is great just outside the busy tourist area. We truly appreciate the dog friendly accommodations and special touches! Highly recommend, we plan on coming back!

This tiny home was everything that I needed for a quick, spur of the moment Valentine’s Day weekend getsway. The price was way cheaper than most cabins and/or tiny homes. And it was actually bigger than expected. This home had ALL of the amenities needed. Only thing I would add is an air fryer since it is 2025 and most people cook with them. Other than that, we give Bonnie 5/5 ⭐️

My family and I had a great time at Kay's place! We especially loved the variety of kitchenware. The view of the pond was also a favorite of everyone's.

Renee’s place was perfectly appointed and super cozy. Exactly as advertised and the property was beautiful. You can tell that she has put so much thought into every aspect of the decor. We would definitely stay there again!

Fit or need to experience tiny living for as few days. Very peaceful surroundings, and the goats were adorable.

Jessica’s place was impeccable clean and well maintained, she made sure to have available all you need in the kitchen, in the bathroom, the only delta my husband and I have is the shower temperature, it doesn’t get hot enough! Other than that, everything 5 stars! She’s very responsive and flexible since extended our checkout hours and that was very much appreciated! She also managed to leave a inglês card available to get better prices in case we needed something from the store! Thank you for the peaceful weekend your place allowed us to have!

We LOVED this sweet little home! Beautiful views and the character of the home is exactly what we wanted. We turned on the record player immediately when we got there, it was awesome!!! Location was amazing to Waynesville where we spent most of our time. It was a pretty drive into town, we explored Lake Junaluska, went horse back riding, enjoyed an evening at The Scotsman, the best coffees at different shops, breakfast at Main Street diner, the best local market on Saturday morning that filled all of Main Street, and and even caught the tree lighting for the town on our last night after watching football and eating a late lunch at Pub 319. We also enjoyed playing the Wii Sports together at night after a fire like we were kids again. It was the perfect place to unwind and be best friends with my hubs! 100/10 would recommend!!
