Cottage vacation rentals in Western North Carolina

We were headed back to Charleston and a storm came in, so we booked the cottage last minute. We booked at 3:30 and we were all set to go in by 4pm. Every message was very clear and we were so absolutely excited to see such a gorgeous place after our experience the days before at a place an hour or so away. The hot tub was amazing. I couldn’t believe the amount of birds as I sat with my coffee on the giant swing in the front porch. We will be back to enjoy this space and Brevard very soon. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

I would recommend this property to anyone! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Laura was beyond amazing as an host.She answered all questions immediately, was such a sweet and down to earth person. definitely a 10/10

My partner and I had a lovely stay at this little hideaway in the woods. We were so lucky to find this place after another host had to cancel our reservation just 2 days before our trip. The cabin is positioned at the end of a short street, right by a beautiful walking trail along a creek, which was great for my pup. The space was clean, organized, and well stocked with towels and linens. We especially enjoyed the cozy king bed and the hot tub. The location was very close to some of the local attractions and just a short drive to downtown Ashville. Jay provided detailed information on checking in and out, and even let us check-in a little early. We'd definitely consider staying here again on future trips.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and the view was absolutely beautiful. It was also very close to town which made everything super convenient. Randy was very responsive and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Would definitely stay again!

Mary's place was amazing. she communicated throughout the whole booking. she informed there was no stores nearby to grab something from Walmart in the next city over. she also gave recommendations for restaurants and take out places in the area. we talked about how my kids are going to be spending Easter there with us and she got an Easter basket and filled up some eggs with candy on top of the welcome basket of goodies she already offered.

This place is super cute. Great for a weekend getaway. Colby and Hilary stocked the home with everything you can think of. We had a great time!

Great stay here! Comfortably fit two adults and two teens. Loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Kitchen clean and well stocked. Super cute and comfy decor/furnishings. Gatlinburg trolley stop was super close and convenient.

Just what my husband and I needed. Far enough from town so it was peaceful but still close enough to be able to do stuff. The hot tub was probably my husband’s and I favorite thing lol

Our entire family had a blast. The host thought of everything from proper amount of silverware to complementary coffee. The kids loved the creek and woods. Plenty of space. Game room wonderful. Location was great close to waterfalls and downtown Helen. We will definitely be back.

We had such a wonderful stay! The cottage had a peaceful, garden-like charm that made it feel like a true retreat. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful—everything we could possibly need was provided, and the attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. It was cozy, comfortable, and felt instantly welcoming. One of our favorite features was the wood stove. It added so much warmth (literally and emotionally!) and made the evenings feel extra special. We’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend this space to anyone looking for a calm and cozy getaway.

The Cottage was the perfect home base for a fun weekend exploring Asheville. The bath was lovely and everything was nice and clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay for the night we were there. The owners were always very responsive and nice. The house was clean and the master bed was comfortable. The only downside is that we had to pay $211 for just a night stay, so I would say that it is overpriced for the place. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Christi and her family were the best hosts. We have stayed in several Airbnbs, and this has surpassed any of ours stays. The family gave you privacy, but made it fully aware that if you needed them they would be close by. There were many family friendly games available (which we loved), plenty of farm animals to watch, every amenity we could think of, the air cooled well, the shower had amazing water pressure/heat, and so much more! We added on the farm tour, which was perfect. We even got to bottle feed a cow! Christi was extremely easy to talk to, and her kids were very kind and welcoming as well! (We hate we missed you, Justin!) We fully plan on coming back (and know we can pack much lighter next time. Seriously everything you need is there!)

Carrie has a beautiful cottage and we loved our stay!!!! The cottage is just adorable and has everything you would need even spices and oils! I also loved the towel warmer in the bathroom! A gorgeous little spot with a beautiful view! Clean and tidy with board games and books to share. The kitchen is well equipped with spices etc if you’ve forgotten anything. Bathroom is super cute! A unique little spot, cozy and comfy enough for an extended stay.

We loved our stay here! The AirBnB is small and quaint, but has everything you could need. It was clean and had some additional games and puzzles for entertainment too. We loved spending time on the dock enjoying the views and nature. There are a lot of stairs to get down to the dock, as they show, but they are safe and the views from above at the house paired with the dock on the water were worth it.

This was our third time staying at Laura's place! The house is comfortable and cozy. She provides everything you would need and then some. The area is quiet and peaceful. The hill makes for a nice walk-- although it will work you! Your apple watch/fit bit will tell you that you walked several flights of stairs. Laura is always a text away and always makes good area recommendations!

We enjoyed our trip so much! We are already looking forward to planning a trip in the near future. The kids really enjoyed the loft space and plenty of room for our family of 4.

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. Five star

Our stay was amazing! It was so quiet and peaceful. There was several sitting places outside with gorgeous flowers and landscaping all around us. The inside was very comfortable also and very neat and clean . Kelly and Dale were very friendly and helpful and immediately made us feel like we had been friends for a long time.

This is a lovely cottage with a good bed, full kitchen and laundry facilities. It's behind the main house, so there is no road noise to speak of. It is very clean and well-kept. Shana is a delightful lady and responds quickly.

The reviews are all correct. This cottage is comfortable, cozy, beautiful, peaceful. The host was accommodating and kind and assisted with a need as soon as possible! I highly recommend this place.

The space is perfect for traveling solo or for a couple! The deck is a great calming space and private. Thomas was very helpful as well. The farm was an added bonus with the animals and there was a cool farm cat to pet!
