Thank you for sharing your place with us. You got us in at the last minute but we have everything we needed to make our stay relaxing and easy. If we need a place to stay in the area again, this will be the first place I check. Thank you for everything!

My best friend and I spent 4 days here and loved every single second of it. The house was spotless, kitchen very well stocked, and that leather sofa in the living room facing the sound was everything we needed to catch up, knit, bird watch, and just reflect. It’s a lovely vacation home, but it is fairly rural so there are very few restaurants near by without going back into Edenton. Still…we came armed with groceries and an excellent bottle of bourbon. It was perfect.

It is a comfortable house, it is located in a very convenient place, the house has everything you need to have a good stay. The communication with the host is good. Thank you so much!

River Shore had room for the two of us to spread out a little and enjoy the river view. The geese flying overhead and the red birds chirping in the yard gave us many pleasurable moments did walking along the entryway road. Very enjoyable stay.

We have stayed in a lot of AirB&B’s and VRBO’s over the years and we have never been in a home that had so much potential to be a superb destination!!!! Very comfortable house in peaceful country setting.Everything was so comfortable and clean. Went to see the tundra swans and snow geese at Pungo Lake- thousands of them and gorgeous- such a thrill. This area with bodies of pristine water, unending corn and cotton fields is my kind of country, plus the attractive towns of Columbia, Creswell, and Plymouth- a great area to visit and only less than 40 miles to Manteo and OBX.

Was a welcome home away from...my group was not in town for pleasure and these hosts property was perfect for a home substitute while on the road for work. 3 grown men slept comfortably, had plenty of hot water and plenty of internet. Wish we had time to enjoy then surroundings...highly recommend this location.

Have stayed here multiple times & will continue to do so when we come to town.

Ginny's River House was the perfect weekend stay for me, my husband, and our two dogs. We kept our dogs leashed while outside (my terrier is fearless and would absolutely leap from the docks given the opportunity). Everyone was comfortable and we had plenty of space; the couches were SO cozy and the bed/linens were perfect. Laura really anticipates her guests' needs and provides thorough directions to put us at ease. The dock was picturesque, especially at sunset and the neighborhood felt sleepy and calm. Downtown Edenton was about 20 minutes away (one way) and we really enjoyed driving through the historic neighborhoods, soaking up the views of the sound, and dining at the local restaurants. We didn't have any issues during our stay, but I let Laura know when we were checking out and she was super quick to respond.

Beautiful cottage in a great location Walk downtown to visit the stores. Take the trolley tour. Eat a fabulous meal on the water. Have a drink Relax with friends in Edenton.

The house was comfy and felt like home. It is in a great location, walkable to downtown. George was extremely helpful before and during our stay!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Anthony’s house. It has everything you could possibly need. The location is great, you can walk to restaurants, stores, and the historic downtown. The house is neat and clean and our dogs love the backyard. Highly recommend.

My family and I truly enjoyed the peace, natural beauty, cleanliness, and comfort here. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house and property are beautiful. Walking outside to sit on the private pier was wonderful. Highly recommend for a quiet, peaceful, beautiful getaway in nature. Seems like an ideal place to fish and kayak, maybe next time!

I can't say enough about how lovely this home is! Such an adorable house, guest house, and yard, with great spaces for spending time together. Kitchen had everything we needed, couch was cozy for watching movies, 2 tables for board games, comfy beds, great outdoor space for reading or having a picnic, beautiful bathrooms, and truly everything you need for a perfect stay. It was great being so close to town and we walked there every day. Having the Farmers Market on the end of the street was such a bonus! Truly a perfect stay!

Amazing home and visit. The town of Edenton is the perfect weekend trip.
