Vacation rentals with lake access in Chowan County

We were so happy to return to Amy’s beautiful home. Great location right on the sound with a bonus of the community beach in the backyard. Amy is a wonderful host! Thank you Amy. We will be back!

Ginny's River House was the perfect weekend stay for me, my husband, and our two dogs. We kept our dogs leashed while outside (my terrier is fearless and would absolutely leap from the docks given the opportunity). Everyone was comfortable and we had plenty of space; the couches were SO cozy and the bed/linens were perfect. Laura really anticipates her guests' needs and provides thorough directions to put us at ease. The dock was picturesque, especially at sunset and the neighborhood felt sleepy and calm. Downtown Edenton was about 20 minutes away (one way) and we really enjoyed driving through the historic neighborhoods, soaking up the views of the sound, and dining at the local restaurants. We didn't have any issues during our stay, but I let Laura know when we were checking out and she was super quick to respond.

Absolutely wonderful place. Perfect for couple's get away. Beautiful place on the sound. Extremely cozy. Georgianne was very responsive and has thought of everything needed to have a nice relaxing stay.

Nice home with large deck and space to hang out with family. We didn't have much time to enjoy the river, but plenty of fishing poles available if we wanted to fish. We enjoyed our quick trip to the area.

I have reserved this property twice for my employees and they now have been spoiled compared to the hotels they are accustomed to. They have done nothing but rave about this property. Looking to book here as early as next week again.

The place was perfect for us. We had our space, it was peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed a canoe ride. The house was very comfortable.

To say this was a great stay is truly an understatement! I loved every bit of our little getaway at Roberta’s property. Upon entering the home you can look out and see the lake, which was a huge plus for us. The home was clean, cozy, and had up to date appliances which my boyfriend and I loved since our favorite thing to do together is cook. Roberta was very friendly and was quick to respond to any questions I had before and during my stay. I absolutely hated that we had to leave! Such a peaceful atmosphere, we will definitely be booking again!

Was a welcome home away from...my group was not in town for pleasure and these hosts property was perfect for a home substitute while on the road for work. 3 grown men slept comfortably, had plenty of hot water and plenty of internet. Wish we had time to enjoy then surroundings...highly recommend this location.

Da Rivah House was the perfect place for my husband and me to decompress and enjoy some down time. It is cozy and comfortable and the views are amazing! The owner was extremely helpful. He was so flexible with our check-in, he checked on us during our stay, and he was very kind when we checked out. It was a completely relaxing, stress free week, thanks to the vibe of the house, its unbelievable views, and the kindness of the host. I would rent it again in a second!

Very peaceful area, extremely quiet. If you're looking to get away from it all it's perfect. Sheri and Jack were extremely responsive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this if you want a quiet getaway.
