Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Chowan County

The view is gorgeous, even from inside the house. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises over the River. Very, very peaceful. We went in Winter and still loved it. I will definitely want to return in warm weather and enjoy the outdoors. The walls of windows facing the water are beautiful, but very drafty. Thankfully we brought a portable heater and used it a lot, since the weather was quite cold and very windy. The bed in the master bedroom was a fantastic king sized with a great memory foam mattress. I slept like a baby. The house itself and the houses on that street are very nice. But you will drive through an area that isn’t nearly as pretty first. Don’t worry. The place is great.

Amazing host provided great hospitality!!

This place was amazing. We came for a funeral and it was on the same street as where my aunt stayed so we were able to walk to her house without any issues. We were able to spend time with family and get there in a timely fashion. We loved the house and the amenities that they offered. We didn’t even get to see the cottage house but will be sure to use this house for the next visit! Nicole was great!

Sheila’s place was awesome for our crew of 4 to stay. There was plenty of room and comfortable for all. The views and river out back make this location beautiful and peaceful.

The River House was absolutely perfect. We stayed here 2 nights on our way to OBX. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The property and the views were stunning. We had tons of fun swimming off the dock and hanging out on the deck. Edenton is a 10 minute drive with lots of shops and restaurants. Would love to come back next year on our way back down!

Great stay! The neighborhood was quiet, and the house was very close to town. The hosts are wonderful people and they have a beautiful home. Their backyard is awesome. They have so many plants, and the parking area is fenced in. All around great stay. We will be back the next time we head to OBX.

Alice's place makes for a great get away. Elizabeth City has the "Small Town" feel and folks are very hospitable. We caught a beautiful sunrise over the water this morning.

This place was very cute. The interior is decorated in an adorable beach theme, and the front porch was equally as charming. The town is very quaint. There are some gorgeous historic homes, a and really beautiful plantation that the state of North Carolina recently purchased, all within walking distance. There a couple of bikes available at this place as well. I rode out to the plantation mansion and it only took a couple of minutes. There is also an adorable lighthouse within feet of this home. We came in for golf. The Occano golf course is only a short drive away, and the course is truly one of a kind. I’d recommend staying here if you want to be close to the heart of Edenton, and nearby course:

Rick and Trish were absolutely awesome hosts!! They were responsive and helpful. After a winter storm hit Rick cleared the snow from my car and Trish offered me food. I really could not have found a better place to stay and look forward to staying there every time I’m in town!

We love coming to Alice's place on the river! It has everything we need and enjoy!

Nice place, beautiful views, would stay again!

Great hosts, in a great location. Donnie and Olivia are what hosts should be. There if you need them, but never intrusive. The location is down town walking distance to all restaurants and things to do. The complimentary gift card to "Muddy Waters" coffe house, a block away is a really nice amenity. We have stayed here 4 times now, and NEVER disappointed. Will highly recommend! Thanks Donnie and Olivia! See ya soon!
