What a wonderful place Hanno & Nico have! The house has all comforts and sparkling clean! The pool is beautiful with lovely water. Furthermore, the hosts are incredibly friendly, respond quickly to messages and have all kinds of fun tips for restaurants and the surrounding area! Highly recommended!

Tanya was thee absolute best ,a perfect host ,very helpful aswell as her helper ,the place was easy to find and I must say the pictures don’t do it any justice it’s a beautiful place clean and the kitchen has everything we needed for our stay ,the pool kept the kids busy as it was so hot ,she even gave us an extra day 🌸I must say she was one of the kindest individuals that have ever hosted me ,I appreciate all she did for myself and my family ..

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view of the mountains from the garden. Was super easy to walk to start of Two Oceans race. Be careful when pulling in as drive is narrow. Overall great!

Elzanne‘s place was perfect for our family of three visiting Cape Town for 5 nights. Our 2 year old enjoyed playing with all the toys available, plus the trampoline and swing set outside. We enjoyed the bbq grill and eating dinner outside most nights with a view of the sunset and pool. The property is very quiet and beds very comfortable. There‘s a huge fridge and freezer and everything you need to cook meals. The house is also beautifully designed so it was a very pleasant stay for us!

This place gets a perfect score! The rooms are bright and very tastefully decorated. Everything is super clean. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The garden with the mini pool is also very well maintained. We felt at home there. The surroundings are safe. Cute little cafes and restaurants are very close. We can imagine coming back next year.

Denis was an exceptional host—friendly and responsive. The space was comfortable, well-equipped, and felt like a home away from home. Thank you too for organizing the porta cot and high chair for our grandchild who thoroughly enjoyed having lots of space and all the fun toys. Very lovely house with everything you need: pool towels, great beds, hotel-style linens, grill, complete kitchen, secure area not far from the beach. The owners live on premises, which can be problematic. However, we quickly found an agreement when the owners could do daily pool cleaning and gardening. So then we always had a lovely garden and clean pool. The owners took care of small problems in the house immediately and descretely. When we saw each other, they always asked if everything was OK. We stayed for six weeks and it was our home away from home. We would come back any time! Thanks so much for the wonderful summer in South Africa.

Wonderful property and wonderful owners my group and I were very satisfied we enjoyed our stay tremendously spacious house lovely swimming pool and also owner spoiled us with fresh towels every two days we were very grateful for the prompt reaction on any request we had.

TanakaKingdom was a great host. From the start, the communication was excellent, they were very responsive and accommodating, even allowing us a late check-in without any hassle. The space was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also great. We appreciated the warm hospitality and would definitely stay again. This was our second time staying here and once again, we absolutely loved it! The place was spotless—so clean and neat, just like the first time. All the extra little spoils made it feel really special and thoughtful. We honestly loved everything about our stay and can’t wait to come back again!

Our weeks stay was perfect. Oliver was a great host, friendly and responsive. Close to where we needed to be during the day with a good choice of restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment was clean and neat and the bed was very comfortable. Bonus was the parking space in a locked garage behind the premises security gate. Will recommend staying there.

Vyonne is the best host ever she so friendly she made us feel right at home , my kids really had the best time thank you for having us and for being a really good communicator always responsive , me and my family will surely be back .

We had a very relaxing 3 night stay - wish we could have stayed longer but we definitely hope to be back in the future. Incredible views of False Bay, great layout, great indoor/outdoor space - decks, pool, wood-fired hot tub - choice of gas or charcoal braai/bbq ! Great outdoor shower off master bedroom ! Large bedrooms with lots of storage/cupboard space. Well equipped kitchen. Felt very secure and safe. Excellent communication with host (Imraan) - who was very responsive and proactive. Overall highly recommended- we really enjoyed our stay. Note that there are lots of stairs to climb up/down from parking on Boyes Drive to house or down to the beachfront - we were aware of this and knew the geography - so it was not a concern - well worth the views from the house- but just something to be aware of when carrying luggage/groceries etc or for those mobility challenged.

Great place! Loved the pedal boat option. Perhaps not so ideal if you have toddlers because the staircase does not have rails. Minor issue really and other than that we had a good stay.

What a wonderful time we had in Alex’s beautiful Higgovale House with its special atmosphere. A home from home we felt immediately at ease. The tropical gardens give the feeling of being in the midst of the jungle - despite being only minutes from the lively Kloof Street with its many restaurants and coffee shops (wine bar/coffee shop/deli Tamboerswinkel deserves a special mention). We felt very safe at night and enjoyed being able to access Cape Town‘s sights quickly. A highlight was our hike to Lions Head - again only a stone throw away from the house. Alex’s great communication throughout our stay was not surprising, given his friendly welcome and advice and whilst we didn’t stay long enough to get to know her, housekeeper Barbara also seemed very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

Great place. Came here for 3 days with my 6 year old daughter. Spa heated with fire, fynbos all around. Pingouin close by. Great success

We had some initial entry trouble with the keys & alarm system. The keys & locks needed the right touch. There are 6 keys on the ring & we only needed 2-3 for various entry points. The house is very clean, comfortable & beautiful. The rooftop views are unbeatable. The pictures accurately represent the house. I loved staying here. It was safe. The location is SO convenient. There is a small store across the street with essentials & wine. Restaurants & Kloof Checkers grocery store are within a 10 minute walk. Lion’s Head & other trailheads are within a :15 minute walk up the hill. Uber is very reasonable. This is an exceptional place to stay!

Very beautiful place to stay, felt at home right away. Has loads of space. Very peaceful and quiet. Didier was very helpful and responsive. Awesome property!

Bettina and Marcos House ist just awesome! We highly recommend to stay here. Its absolutely great equipped. Has a large fridge + dishwashing machine and a washing machine. Every room has an awesome sea view. Its much bigger like it was on the pictures. Check in was easy because they are working with an key box. We enjoyed our stay pretty much and hope to come back soon!

This rating should have been seven or eight stars. This is a charming little cottage, beautifully presented, with all the amenities needed, including toys and books for children! Lisa went above and beyond what could be expected to give us a wonderful place and enable us to really enjoy our stay. We are a party of five, including two children and one baby. The house was ideal, and the sitting out area enabled people to come and see us, without us always having to go and see friends and family. It is a quiet Neighbourhood,yet close enough to shops and restaurants to be able to walk, even with a three year-old. The problem with ratings these days, is that five stars could mean it was satisfactory and nothing worth complaining about, but in this case, it really was outstanding. If one could give seven or eight stars, that would be the appropriate rating.
