Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Cape Town

We had a lovely stay at Ilse's house. The location was perfect; close to walk to restaurants and the beach during the day but tucked away in a quiet street lined with beautiful Victorian houses. We felt very safe, there was easy street parking and the neighborhood was very friendly and calm. The house looked exactly as shown in the photos - we really liked the interior design, the stunning bathroom and the courtyard for lazy afternoon naps before heading out again. Ilse was a great host - very fast in communicating, enabled us early access to the building and shared tailored local recommendations - thank you! We would definitely stay at this stunning place again and will recommend it to friends visiting Cape Town.

My family has never stayes in Scarborough, the village feel where could walk down to the deli for coffee and then down to the beach, stunning location, with thw moat beautiful sunsets, the house had everything we needed, and rhe main room with that amazing view through the windows that open up completely....definitely be back..xx

Superb place with a genuine ‘home’ feel to it. Lots of communal space inside and out and a gorgeous garden to enjoy. Tracy is a super host - responsive and shared loads of advice what to do locally. Hout Bay is a 10 min drive.

We had a great time at Mia’s beautiful house. She was really kind showing us around and was always available when needed. It was awesome for our little daughter to play with all the toys of Mia’s kids. Maybe good to know: The house is not in a gated community, but we felt secure due to the nice neighborhood. We can highly recommend staying at Mia’s beautiful place.

We had a wonderful stay in August (winter, 8 days with 2 teenagers). The property is exactly as described and has everything you might need. The neighborhood feels safe and has many excellent restaurants within walking distance. It's a 3 minute walk to the ocean, 10 minute drive to the V&A and downtown, so a great location to explore Cape Town and surrounding areas. Jenny is an excellent host, friendly and quick to respond. Definitely recommend.

Great little cottage on a beautiful property. Equipped with everything you’d need for a peaceful stay. Shops are a close drive away. Hosts are friendly and accessible on the property. Would recommend and visit again.

This was a weekend of a lifetime.. This house is so lovely and we all immediately felt at home. So much thoughtfulness has gone into creating the home. Sitting in the heated indoor/under cover pool with a view of the mountain, while watching our friend doing the bbq/braai was one of those moments of shere gratefulness. It was a double blessing that we had a weekend with out wind in Betty's Bay. Thank you for sharing your home with all of us!

The panoramic scenic view of the ocean and mountain is something you would want to take home! No photograph can capture the real beauty and serenity of Eva’s place, it is everything and beyond! There was absolutely nothing we needed, the apartment was fully stocked with everything to make our stay comfortable and everything was in great condition. The design of the apartment is great, beautifully decorated, indeed romantic and very classy. We can’t wait to return again in the future and share this gem with our friends & family!

We had a wonderful time at "La mer" which lives up to its name! You can actually hear and see the sea when you let the main door open. The apartment is a little cocoon so charming, all the details are here to help you spend a good time. AND there are some sugarbirds in the trees flowering next to the apartment... I loved my stay in this charming Greenpoint apartment! The location is perfect—tucked away in a quiet area but still incredibly convenient. I was just a stone's throw from the vibrant V&A Waterfront and some of the most incredible restaurants in Cape Town. Safety was never a concern, which let me relax and enjoy my trip. The neighbourhood strikes a fantastic balance - peaceful enough for a good night's sleep but lively enough to have plenty of dining and entertainment options at your doorstep. Greenpoint is truly a gem, and this Airbnb made my Cape Town experience memorable and comfortable. I would 100% recommend this spot to anyone looking for a well-located, safe, and comfortable base to explore Cape Town! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a lovely place! It had everything that we needed. The view was absolutely spectacular and our time at Broadlands was very refreshing. Kathy was a wonderful host. She was very friendly, shared really interesting community information and took time to make sure we were settled and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay!

Andreas’s place was everything we could possibly imagine and more. The pictures almost don’t do it justice in the sense that the place is even more magical in person. The property manager, Julius, was friendly, helpful and responsive to any questions we had after check-in. We were greeted by an in depth tour of the property and gifted a bottle of wine with snacks upon arrival. The place was spotless. The rooms were immaculate. The house had everything you needed to make yourself at home. The neighborhood is stunning and also makes you feel safe. Patrolling security, alarm systems, quick responses if you accidentally trip the alarm. I wish we could have stayed here longer. Overall, I would recommend anyone considering booking this listing to do it ASAP. You won’t regret it.

Lieb’s place is spotlessly clean with beautiful gardens and plants all around. A safe, peaceful and delightful place to stay within close proximity to many top wineries. I would recommend this as a great place to stay to everyone!

Fantastic house in a fantastic location. Perfect for our family. The house had everything that you would need. The views are amazing. We would definitely return to this place.

The house is large and very livable and filled with thoughtful touches. We particularly enjoyed dining on the upper terrace with its own BBQ and the very generously equipped kitchen. It was a 5 min stroll to lovely beaches and the views are breathtaking.
