My stay at River Song was a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely out of this world – right on the banks of the Bruintjies River. The birdsong at dusk and dawn, and throughout the day is marvelous, including owls hooting in the evening, and the fish eagles' calls during the day. Although the cabin can get quite hot, one can open the windows on all sides to allow a flow of air throughout, and to feast your eyes on the lovely views. Kayaking on the river was another highlight that was awesome! The river is quite serene and the scenery exquisite, especially in the morning. The water is lovely for a swim as well. Although I was on my own and working all the while (strong wifi), the cabin would be ideal for a family getaway. A deck built between some of the tall Eucalyptus trees right on/over the river, has a table, seating and even a shower for lovely days spent outside. I'll definitely book again!

A magical well equipped stone cottage next to the most beautiful stream. The trees and surroundings are exquisite and honestly just a beautiful and private enchanted setting. Rob is a wonderful warm and welcoming host. We loved the sweet dogs visiting us. Definitely my favourite cottage on Airbnb. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Had a lovely stay in the cottage. You are really out in the middle of nowhere, it is quite peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views around and the stars at night were spectacular. The included game drive was great! We saw giraffes, springbok, wildebeast and some antelope on the drive. We also saw zebras while driving on our way out. The bathtub was massive. Nice towels and robes as well. We used the pizza oven and braai and enjoyed the semi catered package. Note - there were a fair amount of flies in and around the cottage and they were quite annoying but bugs were expected with the remote location. I recommend taking a SUV vs a car when driving there.

Anton was a very responsive and accommodating host. The place is tucked away in nature which means lots of serene sounds, peace and quietness. The place is decked out with all the basic cooking stuff, guides and books to really disconnect from our city lives. Only challenge was getting our small rental car over the driveway to the cabin. Highly recommended

Hubby and I absolutely loved this cottage! It’s in a peaceful location along Botriver. Doing braai watching the river, magical sunsets,🌅, very peaceful out of city buzz. Just amazing stay. Definitely will come back to do some trail running along the nature reserve. Magical space with great host.

We loved our peaceful stay at Simon’s place. It is truly a private hide away on the edge of nature. The walk to the beach was beautiful. And the beach is endless and breathtaking. We loved the cottage and it has all the basics that you need. There are a few restaurants close by - two within walking distance. Our highlights were all the trails and the beach walks.

Our comfortable cabin was charming and magical in many ways. Its positioned in a pristine, beautiful forest. We loved the waterfalls and the peaceful surroundings.

The tiny house was a delightful stay. It was clean, beautifully furnished, and located in a fantastic spot, making it perfect for exploring the area. The only thing missing for us was Wi-Fi.

Fantastic stay at Stephan’s place! We loved life among the trees. Stephan and Anna are excellent hosts, providing friendly advice and input. We highly recommend a stay!

We stayed in the Wheat Cabin. The view was fantastic, the cabin well equipped with everything we needed and more. The hot tub was a great addition and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabin is private and the best break away from the hustle and bustle. Lida and Kobus were fantastic hosts and ensured that we had no shortcomings, including complimentary wine and homemade bread.We will be back soon!

I just spent the most incredible weekend at this stunning accommodation, and I couldn't recommend it more! The moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a sense of peace and tranquility. The surroundings are serene and quiet, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The breathtaking views from the accommodation are simply stunning, and we felt like we were on top of the world. The hot tub was an absolute highlight, and we loved relaxing in it while watching the sunset with a sundowner. But what truly made our stay special was the exceptional hospitality of our host. She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, especially since it was my husband's birthday. I had requested a special room decoration, which was not part of the package, and she kindly obliged. It was such a thoughtful touch, and we felt truly spoiled.

We had a great stay at the mountain top cabin. The views from the cabin are spectacular and you feel like you are on top of the world. Cabin itself is well maintained and has all the bare necessities that make for a comfortable stay. We did hike to the stream one morning, the route takes you down a 4x4 track where you hop over the fence and follow the 'path' through some thick bush before arriving at the stream. Other than that bring a good book and enjoy the peace and quiet.

We had a great time at this amazing venue. The nature and birdlife surrounding the coffee cabin made it feel super peaceful and relaxing. Just a short distance from the beach with an amazing view of the river. Would highly recommend this accommodation for a relaxing getaway.

Enjoyed our two stay at Alet and she was always helpful and responsive. Place is well located and shops were easy to get to.

Amazing host! Always answered any questions immediately. Everything was neat clean and fresh. Close to malls and the beach. Host was always smiling and happy - easy to get along with. You do not need to leave the premises to buy coffee, ice etc. Everything was spot on and worth every cent!

The perfect getaway for family or friends! The house looked exactly like the photos and had all the necessary amenities. It was spotless, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. The location is great, with a beautiful mountain view. Plus, it’s just a short drive to the beach and excellent restaurants. The host was very responsive, and the information pack was so helpful. Beautiful and peaceful atmosphere and relaxing accomodation. Close too the river for a quick dip and to float down the river. Very quiet house and very spacious and welcoming. Really nice braai area and garden to relax. 10/10 would recommend for a relaxing getaway.

The house was spacious, easy to find, with a clean and well-maintained restroom and kitchen. The host was also very responsive.

Marleen’s place was really great, so clean and well looked after that everything looked brand new. Lots of nice touches. We felt right at home as she and her husband Shaun welcomed us and showed us around. We travel with our 2 large dogs and they found themselves in a big grassy fenced garden which they really enjoyed. Marleen was so kind to even welcome them with some yummy treats and very cute bandanas which they put on right away. The house is very close to the beach in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. We will definitely be back
