Jos is a very proactive host and quickly responds to questions. The property is clean, very private and quiet. We enjoyed watching the toucans and other birds munching on plantains outside the kitchen door every morning. The onsite staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay in this location again!

Couldn’t adequately describe the experience other than to encourage anyone who has the capacity to spend time in the home to do so! I would have stayed longer and made it more of a base camp had I done more homework! Lovely people, lovely place!

We didn't get a chance to meet Chechey in person, but we had communicated really well over the Airbnb app. The place as just as Chechey described, it was clean and comfortable, just a bit of aged. there is hot shower, but at first the heat function was not turned on, and Chechey found someone to fix it quickly. The water would only be hot if you don't turn up the faucet too much since it's electric heat. Chechey was also extremely considerate, and he had left 2 jars of cooled drinking water in the fridge, and adult & kid ponchos for everyone in our party. Thank you very much, Chechey! When we got bored, he also had games and lots of interesting books in the house to occupy our time! The house was located at the end of a private and quiet road, and the yard was amazing, with hedges around to provide extra privacy. There are many ants of different species around the yard, and my son loved it so much! It's also pretty close to the small town with plenty of food choices.

The Cabañita de cedro is a wonderful apartment, equipped with everything you need and designed with lots of love. Lineth, Hilda and their family are very friendly and Hildas food was very delicious. The distance from the apartment to the touristic spots is a bit further and you need more time to get there because the streets are at some points in a bad condition. But you don't need to get bored because Hernán offers you other activities and you could also enjoy the silence and watch the birds around the apartment.
