The place is very beautiful, you have to bring insect repellent if you want to be outside at night, as there are quite a few. But the place is full of silks that keep them from coming in, in general everything was very good. The only thing that could improve is that there are no blackout curtains, then Luz comes in through the windows and the bathroom when one tries to sleep

The accommodation is a complete apartment, with many corners for living and beautiful gallery. It has a very full kitchen, with full and very nice crockery. Christian, he is very friendly. he shares local information and is very attentive at all times that you need it.

Very peaceful and beautiful apartment with a great view of the town, mountain and sea. Definitely need a car if staying here, as it's a dirt road up a hill to get here, but well worth it. Loved having the balcony for breakfast and late evenings, and the apartment was plenty spacious enough. Would note that there is no AC in the apt -- only in one of the two bedrooms -- if you prefer a cooler indoor temperature. All rooms have fans and windows that fully open, but it's fairly humid outside.

Michael was an amazing host, probably the best host I’ve ever had! He helped to arrange transfers to SJO airport and as well as to our other destinations across Costa Rica! He also was very responsive and gave so many good recommendations. He made us feel right at home. The unit itself is beautiful and about a 5 minute bus ride to the beach, and a 5 minute walk to many wonderful restaurants. We dipped in the pool after our daytime activities most evenings and met the other guests in the other unit who were very nice as well. I would definitely love to come back here and have zero complaints! The hill the unit was located on gave us a great workout everyday.

Loved the place! It offers plenty of privacy while still being centrally located, making it easy to access restaurants and nearby beaches. I would definitely go back!

Great place. Clean and comfortable. Not much for cooking in terms of amenities like pots and pans, but we were comfortable and enjoyed the place. The plunge pool is small but great for a hot day, especially with kids. The highlight of this place is the wildlife. We saw tons of monkeys everyday, as well as macaws and toucans. We saw more wildlife on the porch than we did at the national park. Thanks for a great stay! You guys were great!

We only stayed one night because we were in transition. The accommodation is ok for the asking price. But let's say I wouldn't spend a vacation in this place but it's great to cut off the road between two destinations. Lilliam is very nice and responds very quickly. It’s hard to sum up my feelings about this place. It was so special and wonderful. It’s hard to describe. I also hesitate about giving it so much praise because I worry that next time I want to book it it’ll be full! The place was perfect. It was right on a private beach at the end of a private road. The water was a perfect temperature. The sand was soft. The ground Keeper was so friendly and very helpful. He was very kind to my kids and we felt right at home! Also a huge added bonus were his dogs. My kids miss our dogs when we travel and they were thrilled to find dogs here waiting for us when we arrived. There were limitless activities for us to do. We could lay around on the beach or swim in the pool or do excursions that were close by. This part of Costa Rica is extremely beautiful! I would stay in a place like this over a resort any day.

The house and views were amazing! Tito and his team were very responsive and gave us some great recommendations. They arranged a private chef one night and Yerald cooked us one of the best meals we’ve ever had! Would absolutely come back and stay at Casa Zenta again.

Lilly went above and beyond to accommodate my specific needs for internet access. She also responded immediately when we experienced a plumbing issue. The location is perfect for what we wanted during our stay here. We can walk to the beach and the corner store has much of what we need to avoid having to go to the grocery store often. We love the enclosed yard for our dogs. Being away from tourist centers has allowed us to experience the Tico lifestyle. We have already benefitted from the whole foods diet and slower pace of living.

David's place is a perfect location to walk to anything you need. It was amazing to sit on the balcony and see and hear all the wildlife. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Tiina’s place for one night, and I have to say—it’s the perfect little spot with everything you need! The location is excellent, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and anything else you might need. Tiina is a fantastic host, offering great recommendations and excellent communication throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

A taste of nature for sure. Birds and monkeys right off the front porch, and just far enough removed from the city that it was literally in a little jungle valley. Probably amazing in the rainy season when the little river behind the property is flowing. Very peaceful, and the land lady on the premises was always there for help.

Paradise, relaxing, really able to unwind and forget all that you want! Very nice and helpful people.
