We really enjoyed this place. We were concerned about finding it but the instructions were great, it was well marked, and I loved the motion sensor light outside so that we could see to get it in. Julie was a very responsive host. The place was better than the pictures and much larger than expected.

Beautiful and cozy guesthouse in a gorgeous location. Hosts were considerate, helpful, and communicative. This is a great mountain town close to SJO. The pictures do not do it justice. Even more gorgeous in person.

A Truly Special Stay – Felt Like Home! This Airbnb was everything we hoped for and more! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed by Kay. The place was super clean (huge shoutout to the amazing cleaner!), and the location was perfect—safe, convenient, and in a beautiful gated neighbourhood that felt like a real community. We loved going for walks around the area; not only was it peaceful, but it also gave us a great workout! What really made this stay special was the host. Kay went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, accommodating all our requests, including setting up a crib for our little one. That small touch made such a big difference for us! But what we’ll remember most is how Kay took the time to sit and chat with us about life in Costa Rica. It wasn’t just about a place to stay—it felt like we were staying with a friend. Highly recommend!

This home was perfect for our travels. We had no issues, and with questions, Valeria was always kind and responsive. The views were stunning and the wildlife was more than we could have imagined. The Merlin bird ID is a must! I highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to experience the beauty and peace that Atenas and Costa Rica have to offer.
