Waterfront vacation rentals in Wānaka

Sherril's place was in an ideal location. It was a five minute walk to the lake, restaurants and the grocery store. The view of the lake from the kitchen/living room was spectacular! We liked that each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes and flatware. We made use of the washer and dryer in the unit. Sherril was very responsive to our questions. I highly recommend staying in Sherril's place.

We cannot recommend Maria's place in Wanaka more! In my experience, it is not common for an Airbnb to exceed expectations, but this beautiful property did that and more! The apartment is pristine, the view unbelievable, and the very easy walk to and from town made this location a dream! It was wonderfully peaceful and quiet, truly a highlight of our time in New Zealand. We will absolutely return and hope to stay with Maria again. Thank you so much for having us!

Leigh's place was in an excellent location - close to the lake and easy walking distance to town. Plenty of parking and very comfortable beds.

We had a great stay! Beautiful views & nice location. The condo was pristine and very nicely decorated.

Even more beautiful than the pictures. The balcony is sublime and it’s a short walk to the downtown restaurants on a very pleasant boardwalk. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub on the complex property.

Very reasonably priced and great location near Clutha river trail and short drive to Wanaka. Very tidy and includes everything you’d need.

Wonderful location. Much quieter than Lake Wanaka for the holidays. Walking trail right in front of the house.

This place is absolutely magical! The view from the front lawn is outstanding and the cottage is adorable and had everything we needed. It's a true gem and feels very much like a classic good old kiwi bach. We and our dog loved it and are planning to come back again.

Had a great time on holiday! The kids loved the friendly farm animals and the outdoor spa. Lots of room to run and play and beautiful scenic surroundings. The house is perfect for two families as the two separate wings each have a large main bedroom with ensuite and kids rooms. The snug was awesome for family movie nights. Thanks Amanda. We had a fabulous break at your lovely home in Lake Hawea. The lake was breathtaking, we had a brilliant outdoor time on bikes and walks and we loved our meals at the Lake Hawea hotel.

We very much enjoyed this house surrounded by a beautiful garden filled with lavender and views of mountains. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and spacious living area. Appreciated proximity to the restaurants and museum in Arrowtown.

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived and the house met all our expectations. It’s in a fabulous location overlooking the lake and mountains, with the local pub, shop and cafe all excellent and so convenient. A short trip to lovely Wanaka can provide all you nay need for your stay. Our host, Sarah responded to all our queries promptly and made us feel welcome to her home. Every aspect of the property was clean, neat and had everything you could want for a relaxing stay. Thanks Sarah we hope to be back one day, there’s just too much to see and do around the area. We were happy travellers and would definitely recommend this property.
