We had a wonderful stay at the Silver Birch Cottage in Te Anau. Shona is a great communicator so we knew well ahead of time how to check-in etc, so everything ran very smoothly A very clean and comfortable house, which is walking distance to the main street of Te Anau and Lake. We enjoyed our time in a very beautiful part of the country - Fiordland is a gem

Melody and Jacob’s place was super clean and spotless. It looks as beautiful as in the pictures. Their space is just nice for my husband and I and it’s very near the town centre just a 5 mins drive. The shower was perfect with good water pressure, heater and bath amenities. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Thank you Melody and Jacob :)

Perfect place to stay and explore the Fiordlands! Beautiful home with expansive view of Lake Te Anau and easy walk to restaurants, shops, etc. Truly memorable experience and we are all looking forward to returning. The fireplaces were a huge bonus - it was great to wake up and have a coffee while sitting next to them. Also, we very much appreciated the welcoming groceries - what a wonderful touch. I would rank this at the very top of any airBnB I’ve ever stayed at.

The amenities are all great. The place was decorated lovely with flowers. Hot water was offered enough for four people taking showers. It is awesome we were offered a plenty of fruits, waffles and milk, etc as our breakfast. Two rooms are downstairs while the kitchen and living room are upstairs. It was nice that we still have a little kitchen downstairs so that we could grab some food without going ups and downs. Sad for us that there’s no television there. We love to watch TV so much. Before arriving we received the messages from the host that they would use one of the room upstairs. But the host tried to not disturb us. We appreciated it so much.

After a busy 3 weeks of holidaying, Frank and Chrys' place was the perfect haven. The views from the house are spectacular, and the bed is super comfy - we had the best night's sleep there. Our favourite thing was the gorgeous hot tub - such a lovely way to end the holiday, soaking in the hot tub watching the stars. Frank and Chrys were super with their communication and always responded to enquiries. They messaged letting me know that we could check in early, as they had availability for us to do so on the day. I would certainly recommend a stay at Frank and Chrys' place :-)

It is a private, quiet and comfortable travel accommodation. It has a warm bedroom and a bright and spacious living room. We especially like the leather sofas, where we could lie down and watch TV comfortably after hiking and driving. Jonty is very friendly and the check-in guide is simple and easy to understand. It is highly recommended for all self-driving travelers.

We had an amazing time at Helen's place for my 40th birthday. We just wish we could have stayed longer! Our toddler loved spending time with the alpacas, rabbits and horses and there was plenty of space for him to roam around in. We had a lovely BBQ in beautiful sunshine and surrounds. We definitely want to return! Thank you so much!

Really nice place. Easy to find and check in. Everything was new and clean. Comfy beds. Short walk to Doubtful Sound trip departure was really nice (Doubtful Sound trip is wonderful and is total of 7 hours so not having to get on a bus was great). Many interesting books on local sites and history. Kitchen had everything we needed.

Following a soggy hike on the Routeburn Track we loved returning to Craig’s warms and cosy place. The fire, washing machine, dryer, plentiful hanging space and well appointed kitchen were perfect for recovering after our hike and basing ourselves to explore Milford Sound. We would love to return!

Wonderful location Near all the hotels but this house had wonderful indoor and outdoor space. Sorry we weren’t around long enough to really enjoy the stunning views on the deck. Beds were comfortable and well appointed with lots of charging cords. Nice laundry option and helpful guidebooks. Fabulous house!
