Don't judge a book by its cover. This older home's interior has been lovingly restored and refreshed with great attention to simplicity, comfort, and quality. It is spotlessly clean and located close to town and restaurants in an established neighborhood. The only issue we had is that the heating system can't quite meet the demands of frigid temps. Faith, who is unbelievably responsive, has mitigated this known issue with space heaters, which helps (our bedroom was fine with the additional heat). However, be aware that if it's super cold, this may not work for you. Regardless, we had a 5-star experience. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the spacious kitchen has everything you need--the view from the window while standing at the gorgeous farmhouse sink is straight out to the Blue Ridge. The towels are plush, the bathrooms sparkling, and the thoughtfully curated art, wall colors, and furniture are beautifully simple and harmonious. One of our best Airbnb stays by far.

Great place for a quick getaway. Loved the view and the privacy, but also being close enough that if something goes wrong help is not far at all. The cows were very calm and a pleasant surprise to wake up to 😊 just like the photos. Maybe because the weekend we went it was in the teens and freezing, the hot tub took a while to get hot and didn’t reach the temperature we set it to, but it was there and ready and to go which was really nice. Everything was clean and the heater inside was actually really nice and kept us comfortable all night. I hope to come back again, 10/10 stay

This stay was the perfect getaway! Plenty to do nearby and even had some friendly cows as visitors to say hello to :)

Patti was easily one of the best hosts I have had. Do not hesitate to book one of her listings! Our rental was amazing and absolutely spotless!
