Loved the apartment! Very nicely appointed and very clean. The bathroom is especially nice, though the whole apartment is modern and functional. The deck is great with an amazing view (the photos don't do it justice). As many have mentioned, the walk down to the town requires a bunch of stairs and some sloped ramp walkways, but us somewhat out-of-shape 60 somethings had no problem walking up and down. The Wellington bus service is fantastic with frequent service and direct routes to most of the things you will want to see and Siobhan's apartment is a very short walk from convenient bus stops for most of the popular routes. It is about 20 minutes on the bus to get to the centre of the CBD for example with lots of good restaurants including at the Queen's Wharf which is an additional 5 minute walk from where the bus drops you off. We were here for 2 weeks and loved it. Would highly recommend staying with Siobhan if you are visiting Wellington.

Comfortable place to stay for a few days. Easy walk to downtown, restaurants and shops. Very convenient to botanical garden and Zealandia, as well as to major highway. Carol was a great host and provided us with useful info on transportation when we arrived on the ferry as well as some restaurants within walking distance.

Gavin's place is in a great neighborhood in Kelburn - coffee shops and restaurants right down the street, and walkable to Zealandia! We did a night tour there which got you admission also in the daytime plus the next day. I'm a bird lover and went there 3 different times! The unit is also walkable to downtown Wellington with even more restaurant and bars to choose from, and to get back if you don't walk to walk back up the hill it's very close to the cable car. We really enjoyed our stay at Gavin's place!

My partner and I were lucky enough to stay at Maureen's pied-a-terre and can't say enough about it. From the cozy interior living space, the wonderful little balcony which gets great sun on a nice day, to of course the most ideal location you could ask for in Wellington, this place is a complete gem. Moira the cat was one of the sweetest fur babies that we've ever met and we very much enjoyed her company as well. If you want a central apartment and like cats, this is your place!

Location was incredible! 400 meters from a really fun kids park with activities. 800 meters from dirt and paved running, walking, and biking paths. Very central location! House was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Had everything we needed for close to a 1 month stay! We will definitely come back again!

For what we needed, it was super convenient to the event we were there for, Kara was so responsive to us & was very flexible with check-in time slightly earlier. This was honestly one of my favourite Airbnbs! The place felt like a tiny oasis, which was perfect after camping the last month. The hosts have provided lots of small details that make this place special - robes for after the sauna, basics in the fridge, a reading nook, and a very detailed list of local recommendations. It was clean & hosts were responsive!

In all our years as Airbnb guests, this stay was a stand out. Richard and Sarah met and greeted us so warmly, and throughout our stay, they couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful and accommodating. There aren't the adjectives to fully describe the accommodation, the outlook and the views - but WOW! sums it up. The home has a beautiful look and feel, immaculately clean with quality decor, furniture and soft furnishings, and every detail thought of - including some thoughtful and tasty treats. The sea views are breathtaking - so captivating and ever changing. The spa was a fabulous way to relax at the end of the day (especially when you're serenaded by the resident tui). We were here for 2 months with a 13 and 11 year old. The place was perfect for our longer stay. We were particularly enamored by the te ahumairangi hill close by with beautiful walking and running trails. Michael was a great host and responded promptly when we had a question or request.

Eleanor’s home is absolutely beautiful. We stayed with my parents and sisters for a few days in Wellington. Eleanor left us a nice welcome note, kindly offered early check in and left homemade jam and bread at the house. The house is spacious and comfortable and the views are to die for. I wish I could move in but look forward to hopefully staying at the property again in future.

This place had million dollar views of the harbor. It was quiet and easy to walk or Uber downtown. While the place is a bit old and quirky, that did not detract from the charm. We were very glad to stay there.

This is the type of AirBnb that you hesitate to provide the glowing recommendation it desires as you want it to be available next time you would like to book it. Dont hesitate if your budget extends for this top range option - you will have no regrets. Only negative is the parking is not included but plenty of public parking nearby that you can utilize. We will be back, which is the best recommendation I can give and if this was available would book it immediately.

My husband and I stayed at Craig’s place 4 nights in February. We absolutely loved it!! The view was so great and we loved sitting on the balcony in the early evening. The entire place was immaculate and super comfortable. Craig was a fantastic host, super helpful, responsive and friendly. We would definitely recommend staying at Craig’s place!

We had a lovely stay at Evan’s Bay, we felt so at home and the bay view is incredible. The beds were really comfortable, the lounge was great, as were the bathroom facilities. Easy access to buses and local shops and the best equipped Air BnB kitchen I’ve ever stayed at!
