We had a two night stay here while we explored the beaches and visited a friend in Mt Maunganui. This place was the perfect spot to get away and relax. Surprisingly big amount of space to spread out with nice indoor outdoor flow. Especially loved the hammock as a reading spot. Beautifully furnished (great inspiration for our own place!) and heaps of kitchen equipment if you're into cooking at home. Felt very private and easy short driving distances to the mount and papamoa. Highly recommend this place and hope to go back some day.

What a lovely place to stay! Very spacious with beautiful light and view of the garden. I stayed for 4 weeks and felt it was a very comfortable place to be. Matt and Aga were both very friendly but gave me my privacy. Very helpful and responsive when needed. Would definitely recommend this place! One caution is that there are three children living upstairs so it can get a little noisy during day time hours if you were trying to work from home.

We really enjoyed staying at Mike's, our accommodation was lovely, as was the garden. Also very much appreciated the home baked goods and the general homely feel.
