Cottage vacation rentals in Tauranga City Council

Spent a relaxing weekend in this house. It's few mins walk to the beach and shops and there is a lot to do around. It was quite relaxing to take a dip in the spa after a long day of activities. The host is friendly and accommodating they even left a nice message for us on the kitchen black board.

We have a lovely time. The house has a lovely Kiwi batch, holiday feel and is perfect for a quiet and relaxed holiday. The close proximity to the beach is a huge bonus for morning and afternoon walks

Perfect little batch, very easy walk to the beach and a close bike ride or drive to shops, cafes, and handy to the Mount. We had everything we needed here and would stay again.

Last minute cancellation , meant we had now where to stay. So last minute booking and everything was ready for us. Beauty little spot and such a neat place and private , thoroughly enjoy our night there AAA+++

The Woolshed is a gorgeous, peaceful and cosy space. The location is the perfect balance of lovely countryside yet still close enough to easily access the gorgeous Papamoa Beach and restaurants. Thank you Micaela & Ricky for your warm hospitality and expert local knowledge on all the great walks and perfect beach spots! Highly recommend this lovely slice of paradise :)

Antony’s place was ideal for us, a family of two couples, a young child and two small dogs. Being in Terrace Avenue, a short distance from the beach, the walkway/cycleway, Tay Street Cafe and a supermarket, suited us perfectly.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed for our holiday. Beach is close by and amazing - went swimming daily. The local shops are a quick walk & have excellent food, coffee & ice cream (which the kids greatly enjoyed). The house was very comfy and clean with a great outside area. The neighbourhood is very quiet and family friendly. Would highly recommend this place for a quiet beach holiday!

Gary and Michael’s little cabin is a perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. They are super friendly and very helpful. The cabin is clean and comfortable, with a very nicely kept yard. The near by towns have great little restaurants and parks to have picnics and are only a five to ten minute drive away.

Rustic older bungalow on the main road into Papamoa. Very clean. 5min walk to the beach. Spacious house. We visited in winter so it was a bit cold but the heat pump kept the living room warm, we found firewood under the house as there was a wood burner in the kitchen but no matches etc. Road noise might bother some people, it’s a busier road than I expected. Kitchen had everything you needed. Listing seems a bit out of date? The listed games room with airhockey table was locked/no longer existed which was a shame for my kid in the school holidays. Grateful to properties that allow dogs!

It was an awesome place for my family, back yard was great, a lot of sun. Would definitely be back ☺️

We would definitely stay again - so close to town but also so private it was perfect for us as we were visiting just needing a spot to stay to visit a close friend

Wow! This lovely hidden gem on the outskirts of Tauranga with breathtaking views of Mt Maunganui is an absolute find. The accommodation was in pristine condition with welcoming touches of homemade bread, biscuits, jams we couldn’t have been happier. Delwyn the host was a wonderful caring attentive person. We would highly recommend staying here.
