what to say when everything is perfect.... the house is beautiful, the decoration very neat, lots of places. Special mention for all children's games and books available ❤️ cleanliness was more than perfect, everything is cleaned every day by charming and completely discreet ladies. personal level, everyone was amazing: discreet but thoughtful. We were treated like princes, the food was great. Our linens washed daily. The Villa manager responds to all our requests (shopping, excursions, tuktuk...). in short it was a great experience! thank you all 🙏🙏🤎🤎

Beautiful accommodation in a peaceful jungle location surrounded by locals. Very accessible by public transport ( bus and train) and about 15 minutes walk. The house is very clean, super comfy bed, air conditioning in the bedroom and in the other rooms there are fans. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is even a water filter, so there is also sufficient drinking water available. The shower does not have hot water, but at 34 degrees outside temperature lukewarm water is completely sufficient. There is a small sweet garden where you can also relax. The contact person for us was Mudeeka, who helped us organize a trip to Yala National Park and hosted a cooking class together with her family on our last evening. We stayed for a total of 2 weeks, but took a backpacking tour of inland in between.

Marleys Cottage is fantastic and the perfect location to explore the south coast. The place itself is good, and had everything we needed for our stay. But the outside space and the plunge pool are the main event. The view is stunning and you're right on the beach. Nishantha greeted us and made us feel at home straight away and was really helpful during our stay.

I can not recommend a stay at The Casuarina Tree enough. Nestled in the quieter but perfectly accessible streets, this place is an absolute sanctuary with a luscious outdoor area for relaxing and an abundance of wildlife. The indoors is simply gorgeous and tastefully decorated, all rooms extremely spacious and everything you could need in the kitchen. Jeem the house manager stays in a separate quarter of the house and is very respectful of your space, we loved having him there. The most gentle man you will ever meet, he made us a delicious breakfast every morning and was on hand for any help we needed. The location is a perfect base for exploring this part of the south coast and within walking distance to the beach. We used a tuktuk driver that Jeem called, Tilanta! Take his number, we used him all week. And finally James is the best host and always on hand, we basically followed his recommendations and we had the perfect trip. Thank you for an amazing stay, it was a special one :)
