The White House Lodge was amazing. Janaka and his family made us instantly feel welcome and at home. The apartment is quite spacious and you'll be provided with everything you need. the terrace is very beautiful as well. Everything in Madiha is in walkable distance. Janaka helped us with tuktuks and car rides as well.

Absolutely faultless experience. The beautiful house and excellent team of staff exceeded all of our expectations. We were incredibly comfortable in the spacious and beautifully designed and furnished house and gardens. The house managed to combine all of the above whilst allowing us to feel completely ‘at home’. Sunil, the on-site villa manager, was always able to help and guide us with all our needs for transport and excursions etc. Sunil is also a wonderful chef. He cooks with skill but also with love. We felt very well looked after. He and his team kept the villa spotless and were kind and friendly throughout. We hugely appreciated the effort they made to help us celebrate our daughters birthday whilst we were there. Would 100% recommend.

It was beautiful, even better than described! The villa was in immaculate condition upon our arrival and we were very warmly welcomed by Sunethra and Pamoda, who can take care of everything at any time and give many tips. The villa fully complies with the description and it is actually much nicer than the pictures. There is a 24-hour security service that guards the property and the entrance. As a result, privacy is unfortunately not 100% guaranteed. The villa is beautifully quiet in a residential area, right next to the sea, but is only a few tuk-tuk minutes from restaurants, shopping (including wine store) and everything you need. We had a really wonderful time in the villa and enjoyed every second more than enough. We'd come back in a heartbeat. Thank you again for everything... Unfortunately, a hotel is probably being built opposite at the moment.

It was a joy to stay at Sonias villa with my two daughters. The villa itself is really spacious and set in the most beautiful garden full of plants and flowers with birds and monkeys in the trees. The swimming pool was an Oasis and I am going to miss my early swims multiple times a day. The area was safe and peaceful and easy to walk down the lane to the main road where there was always a tuk tuk waiting, so getting around was hassle free. The villa was super well equipped with ceiling fans and air con in the bedrooms. There is lots of choice in the area but very glad we chose here to spend a blissful week relaxing after a full itinerary in the North the week before, a great combination. Sonia was the nicest of hosts, so kind, very responsive and helpful. Our stay here was a real pleasure and would definitely return in a heart beat

Very beautiful and cozy accommodation. Peaceful place as it was a quiet environment. Large and clean private pool perfect for days you don't want to go to the beach. Shehan was very nice and helpful and responded quickly if you had any questions. Would really recommend and I would no doubt be able to stay here again.

We were blown away by the beauty and serenity of Villa Ovita in Talpe, Sri Lanka. This stunning villa was literally a paradise on earth, surrounded by lush greenery and an incredible array of animals. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were in a nature lover's haven. But what truly made our stay special was the warm hospitality of our host, Damith. He was incredibly welcoming and kind, and it's clear that he's poured his heart and soul into creating this beautiful oasis. His hard work has paid off, and we felt so grateful to have been able to experience it. We spent our last few days in Sri Lanka at Villa Ovita, and it was the perfect way to unwind and relax. Thank you, Damith, for your exceptional hospitality and for sharing your little slice of paradise with us. We can't recommend Villa Ovita highly enough!

This place is wonderful on so many levels. I stayed for 3 months and it was an absolute delight. Firstly, the villa itself is spacious and spotlessly clean. It has lots of workspace for online working and a fast WiFi. The kitchen has everthing you need and there's a fabulous balcony sheltered by a mango tree, where you can watch the many colourful birds. secondly, what makes this property a delight are Hiran and Malika. They are so kind and treated me like family. During my stay, I had some health problems and they went out of their way to help me. For the majority of time there, I was alone so I felt very safe with Hiran and his wife close by. Thirdly, I requested 3 meals a week for a small price and Malika provided me with the most delicious home cooked food. Amazing! Lasting, the location is great. Walking distance to Galle or short bus ride away. Locally, there's plenty of shops. Thank you Hiran and Malika.

This was a wonderful place to stay for a weekend of adventuring!
