We had a very nice stay at the washery. It was very private and peaceful. Had just what we needed for a nice stay.

Beautiful historic home in a very remote location. We wanted access to the Greenbrier River trail and it suited our purpose perfectly. Home was spotless clean and comfortable. Power was out when we arrived, but it was a utility company issue. Marcie warned us as soon as she became aware and kept us posted with updates. We knew to bring bags of ice to keep our groceries fresh and our drinks cold. Then we grilled steaks over charcoal, and dined by candlelight until the power came back after a few hours. Loved seeing the rolling hills, horses and deer all around. We had a great stay and hope to come back again very soon.

Perfect spot for a cozy trip in the mountains! We stayed dry and warm during an especially rainy/snowy weekend. The space was very clean with a well equipped kitchen. We were even surprised with a bouquet of roses for Valentine's Day and a collection of toys for our pup.

We stayed at Trish's place for a weekend get away somewhere new in West VA. The home was very clean, comfortable and cozy. It was easy to find and is set in a very peaceful location. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook supper on 2 different nights and I even used the gas grill that is provided on the back deck. We also bought come carrots and apples and my wife fed the 2 draft horses in the field across from the house! Marlinton is only a few minutes away with some good restaurants. We also took 2 drives. One up to Snowshoe and one down to the Hillsboro area to Beartown State Park and Droop Mountain Battlefield. For a peaceful, clean, roomy remote setting I highly recommend Trish's place. :)
