Smoking friendly vacation rentals in San Rafael de Escazú

We spent a few days at Rodolfo's house to participate in a colloquium at the University of Costa Rica. The house is a 10 minute walk from UCR, it has supermarkets, restaurants, etc. very close. It's big, nice, clean, with all the necessary equipment. You feel really at home! Rodolfo has always been very helpful and friendly. It's an excellent choice

Bernd Y Irmgard were wonderful hosts; very accomodating and easy to talk to. The apartment was exceptional and very nice. They gave me directions to the grocery store and other locations. Their hosting was outstanding and would definitely stay with them again. They are definitely 5-star airbnb hosts!!

The accommodation is huge and the view is amazing. 4 bedrooms, large living room and kitchen, 3 bathrooms, amazing for this price range. Neighborhood is also extremely safe. We even had a guard near the entrance. One small downside perhaps, though this is nitpicking at this price point... We were looking forward to the heated pool, though the water was cold. Also in the apartment itself, the boiler was too small to fill the whirlpool in the master bedroom. But again, this is nitpicking... Would definitely recommend and book again in the future!

This is wonderful, comfortable and spacious place to stay, great hot water all around. Fairly easy for cooking. If you have car, the garage is a major bonus for convenience and privacy. We were glad it was available.

Great stay. Only advice would be to clarify the. access to the apartment before hand. We got locked out once. But a great place to stay with very good restaurants around. very relaxing.

We stayed there for 2 months during our internship. We felt right at home. The hosts are super friendly, always helpful, just great people. The house is very clean and equipped with everything you need to live. I highly recommend this place!

Conventionally located to the airport and mall. made for a great spot to regroup back in town before heading home. Jarol was very responsive and very nice!

Alejandra's house was exactly as shown in the pictures. Lots of space and very clean. The best part was how lovely and welcoming Alejandra's family are. They made us feel like part of the family and so comfortable to stay there. Thanks for everything!

Beautiful home and location, there was stuff nearby but still quiet!

Jorge was very communicative and helpful. We had a small issue with a broken lock and he kindly drove over to fix it. Houses don’t weather well in Costa Rica and the house has a few areas of wear and tear, but there are far more positive than negative aspects. It is spacious, modern, very clean and decently equipped. The bedrooms are a real positive as they’re large and the beds are very comfortable with spotless linen. The bathrooms are fine (there’s lots of them!) and the water pressure and temperature are both good. The seating area in the open plan kitchen is comfy, the furniture is really clean and the TV has Netflix etc. The house is well placed for visiting lots of local attractions and there are some nice restaurants very close by. The neighbourhood is quiet and family orientated and felt super safe. It is naturally windy and cool compared to other local neighbourhoods. Thank you very much, Jorge. Fantastic house for anyone visiting San Jose. We wish we could have stayed for longer as one night was not enough. We instantly felt at home. The main bathroom is huge and perfect for a slow morning getting ready for the day. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we had a much needed rest. We would definitely stay here again.

Location, cleanliness, communication, everything just great. I can recommend it.

Everything in Costa Rica is amazing and how would Janet and her apartment not be? Very well located, large and comfortable apartment with everything you need to have a great stay, both short and long! The hostess is excellent, very friendly, if you are Brazilian like me, don't be afraid of your portunhol, she strives well to understand, as well as speak English very well. I travel a lot through Latin America and Europe and recommend 100%! Gracias, Janet!

Ricardo’s place is great! San Jose downtown as well as the airport are very easy to reach from his place. Communication and check-in went very smoothly.

Michaels' place was lovely! It was clean, surrounded by trees and in a peaceful setting. It was home for me for 3 months and I couldn't found a better apartment. Also, the bathroom was a luxurious plus! Michael was a very kind, thoughtful, and responsive host. Any questions or concerns I had were immediately resolved. I thank him and his family for make me feel at home. It was a wonderful stay.
