Family-friendly vacation rentals in Río San Juan

The residence is very comfortable. The beds are good. The private beach is also enjoyable. Bring a mask, snorkel, and a floating buoy as you can swim out to the reef. The downside of this is the party boats that dock and play loud music sitting just offshore. The toaster is shot and needs replacing. I know they area has had a problem with guests stilling knives, but the ones in the unit would have trouble cutting hard butter. If you would want to, You can rent a scooter or Quad, right across the street.

Loved our stay with Irina. I will say check in and checkout are not very clear but a very nice man named Andrey came and helped us get in the apt and gave us our keys. The mosquitos are bad so make sure to keep doors closed (they like to hang out by the front door if the apartment) and bring bug spray or electric swatter. Audrey was so nice and he bought us a mosquito net for our baby’s pack and play. The kitchen is a little lacking with some of the utensils needing replacement (the peeler does not work). Overall the views of the water are spectacular. The apartment is right on the water and being able to hear the waves is amazing. The infinity pool is spectacular and there’s another pool that is more family friendly in the middle of the complex. Felt very safe and peaceful the entire time. Cheers

Apartment was very spacious and clean. Had a great view of the Ocean and beach and was within walking of many restaurants. Trisha was great in showing the apartment and explained how everything worked. Had great security 24 hours in gated area for the safe parking of the car.

This villa was as beautiful as advertised, from the moment you walk in you see the giant windows with the amazing view of the ocean and surrounding area. Everything as advertised, my only complaint would be the water pressure but that is common from what I have seen in the DR as a whole. I would definitely recommend and I will be staying here again!

Loved it! I had a very relaxing week at this apartment. I have been inCabarete several times and Sea Winds is my favorite place to stay. You have it all, Luxury, comfort, privacy, relaxation and the view. Is the best place to stay, seriously. If you are kite surfing you could pump your kite on the grass and launch from there, if you are taking lessons or renting equipment you have the option to a very pleasant walk 10 minutes on the beach either right to cabarete bay or left to kite beach to find the schools restaurants and night life. No need for a car, walk on the beach or a moto taxis for 100pesos take you to town in 3 minutes. New supermarket Janet is 10 minutes walk on the beach and get to main road from there where you can get supplies. This particular apartment is beautiful with 2 balconies to relax while looking at the scenery, nice kitchen with all you need for cooking, laundry, very comfortable beds, great Air conditioning and fans. Hot water in shower…it was just perfect!

We had a great stay. I cannot think of a better place to stay if you are like us and love privacy, a roomy house and great yard with a large pool. Cabarete beaches are reputed for kitesurfing (which I am doing), but my wife and daughter preferred to enjoy the privacy, the beautiful yard and sunbathing away from the windy beaches in the afternoon. The place is really big and the yard is surrounded by vegetation, so you feel remote and alone. It is a 15 minutes' walk to the first beach, and restaurants might be 20-30 minutes' walk. So a car or renting scooters is a plus. The place is clean and comfortable. Internet (Starlink) is working well (150mbps download speed) so no issues doing Teams / Zoom meetings. TV is updated, so no need to bring cables or anything just airplay your tablet, or access remotely from your PC. Fela, the house manager, is amazing. She will do everything she can to help. House is charming, although could be updated, it is awesome. We'll be back.

I had such a great relaxing time and stay at this Airbnb. Tom was very accommodating, within the unit he had a well detailed portfolio of what is around the area, places to eat, list of excursions, ect. Just a welath of information which for me I believe was the first time I have ever encountered this level of professionalism and clarity. Tom thank you for making my very relaxing, gret place and atmosphere. Very much recommend your stay here.

We had a wonderful stay here. The condo is very spacious, sparkling clean, had plenty of bath and beach towels, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, and even a few games/kids toys. The views were even more beautiful than the photos. The condo complex is gated with security at the entrance from the road and from the beach. The downtown was just a 10-15 minute walk along the beach and the whole area felt very safe. Luis was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Hilary’s place has the most incredible view, on the hill overlooking Playa Sosua. It is close enough to get to the beach, grocery store and restaurants quickly but tucked into the trees and vegetation of the hillside, away from the noise and busyness of the city. Everything was very clean and comfortable, comfortable beds, hot water, cold AC in both bedrooms, kitchen stocked with appliances and everything needed to prepare our own meals (grocery store 5 minutes away). The bonuses were the clean pool in the back yard, the stunning view and the tremendous response and attention of our host, Hilary, the caretaker of the house, Jose, and the night guard. We will definitely be returning!

This house is really great and in a great location, it’s perfect if you have a car it’s not far to cabarete or puerto plata also. It’s also very close to all the night life in Sousa. Having the garage was also very helpful so we didn’t have to park in the street. The staff was very wonderful and helpful and kept the house clean all the time. Thanks again Vickie, we would love to stay again!

This apartment is in such a beautiful setting. We sat on the back porch watching the kids play in the infinity pool, looking out over the ocean. There were always security guards on site and we felt completely safe. We would stay again if we get the chance.

We had a fantastic stay at Ruslan's villa! The check-in process was seamless, and Ruslan kindly allowed us to check in early, which was a big help as our flight landed at 10 AM, even though check-in was officially at 2 PM. The pool was cleaned every morning, and everything in the villa worked perfectly. We were delighted with our stay and highly recommend Ruslan's villa. We'll be booking this place again for our future trips!

We stayed for five nights and had a great experience. Cristina was our contact throughout our stay, and she was very responsive to any need that we had. The photos are very accurate. The place is quiet with an ocean view and easy beach access. The two pools are a great place to hang out, with a poolside restaurant with reasonably priced food. The location is also convenient to both Sosua and Cabarete for restaurants, beaches, groceries, etc.

Excellent location, facilities and amenities. Owner, host and staff always available. 2nd stay here. Will certainly stay again.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Sosúa with my friends. The place was spotless, and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful—lush greenery and tropical vibes all around. The private pool was incredible. The accommodations were super comfortable, and I felt right at home. The staff went above and beyond—they were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything I needed. Truly accommodating! One of the highlights of the stay was definitely the Santa Fe complex. It's a full-on recreational paradise—so much fun with plenty to do, whether you're looking to unwind or stay active. I can’t recommend this place enough and would love to come back again! 10/10 highly recommend!

We stayed for 2 months at Bay Rock and had a lovely time. Ronald and the team were responsive and addressed issues that came up. There were a few things / repairs that were needed, but the team addressed them quickly. Overall the space was great. There is not a balcony but the rest of the facilities - pool / sitting area etc. were great and the beach was exceptional.

Excellent stay would highly recommend very peaceful,private, and cozy everything was as described looking forward to visit again
