Family-friendly vacation rentals in Río San Juan

Fantastic place to stay. The space was perfect for our family of five. Though we spent most of the time on the beach, we enjoyed lazy mornings on the balcony and family movie nights in living room. Tamara was very quick to respond and arranged our taxis to and from airport.

Raquel is an amazing host and her communication from booking to check out was top notch. Very flexible and helped with anything we asked for. Apartment is perfect location to beach and restaurants. Always felt safe with the 24/7 security staff. Would definitely stay here when visiting cabarete

The apartment its better than the photos. Is a very spacious, comfortable and lovely apartment. It's clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and everything worked. The apartment it a ground floor so its very kid friendly, it looks out to the ocean from the porch. The complex is safe and well maintained. Check-in and check out was easy. The grocery store is likewise about a 5 minute drive. We'll be back soon.

We enjoyed a fantastic vacation in Hristo’s beautiful unit. Beds were comfortable, AC was nice and cold, very spacious, left us wanting for nothing. Location cannot be beat and the infinity pool overlooking the ocean was phenomenal. We were 5 adults and 2 kids and it felt plenty spacious. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning on a future trip!

I had a wonderful stay here and will be staying again in the future. Jonathan was incredibly friendly and helpful with any questions, I liked his communication to check if everything was going well and whenever I needed something he responded in perfect timing. The apartment was pristine and private and had some of the best views over the ocean. It was a spacious apartment and the kitchen was perfectly equipped. I couldn't have wished for more, it was beyond my expectations.

Received in Nathalie's "Ranch". The Host helps me a lot (water, cooking, language exchange (Dominican and French), rental items and concierge services). The Room is very suitable and the outdoor patio/garden is a charm. Your family takes good care of this place. Share a part of their paradise, stay under the wing of comfort. Very welcoming. Helpful. Good Rooms. The Ranch is terrific. Part of their paradise shared with People in a good way.

I had a wonderful 5-6 week stay at Irina’s place with my dogs. It felt just like home and was beautiful. Irina is very responsive and helpful. Her husband Andry was very proactive in trying to keep the pool clean with all of the rain/mud. The landscaper was there several days per week. Great location. Can’t wait to come back!

Our group of 6 mature adults really appreciated the location, privacy and peacefulness of our Villa Leone, which was one of 4 villas at the eastern end of Cabarete. Our villa was actually a lot more than we needed - it was so spacious! We loved that the villa has that "lived-in' feel, together with an abundance of colourful local wall art and classic stone statutes. We spent lots of time strolling the lengthy beach with its powerful surf, into the beach bars and resturants on Cabarete Beach and even after enjoying great margaritas at the nearby beach bar "Martini's". We took a few daytrips - to see humpback whales near Samana; Squirrel & Cappucino Monkeys at the nearby "Monkey Jungle"; to swim at Sosua Beach; river paddle-boarding & kayaking and watching hundreds of "kite surfers". Certainly, the most exciting event was seeing a humpback whale as it "breached" several times just off our beach! Our month-long stay was waaay too short, so we are planning on returning asap!

This is a hidden gem in the Río San Juan area, highly recommended stay! We will definitely be returning to enjoy the stunning views of the mountainside and ocean and amazing sunsets, as well as the peace and quiet of the surrounding area of the house. The house itself is well equipped with everything you may need for a comfortable stay and Patrick is readily available to offer recommendations and helpful suggestions.

When you read that the pictures don't do this house justice, it's true. Very easy to get to with the location that Scarlett sends, the house is spacious and has everything you need. The location is restful with a breathtaking view. I will definitely visit again.

Nestled in a secluded cove, host was extremely attentive and very prompt in response. Very cozy and super spacious, enough to accommodate many. Wonderful pool, surrounded by nature, and wonderful for stargazing and relaxing. Very nice modern design.

Sure, here's a short review for David’s place in Cabarete on Airbnb: --- We had a fantastic stay at David’s place in Cabarete, especially for our kitesurfing adventure. The accommodation was perfect, with a nice grass area to blow up and prepare our kites for launching. David was incredibly responsive and helped us out with any requests we had during our stay. The location is also great—just down the street from a cafe with excellent coffee and wifi. We would definitely stay at David’s place again for our next kitesurfing trip to Cabarete!

Very nice cottage in a very calm area. Totally recommend it.

This fantastic place,mm with beautiful mountain’s view and also it’s pretty close to the Cabarete’s beach.

Such a wonderful person to chat with, everything was as described and more, she even provided us with the BBQ Girls when I requested it.... Never got to meet here in person (didn't need to) but she was very helpful and on her toes with any concerned I had (which were minor to say the least).... The villa is wonderful and great for groups, the staff are super friendly and super attentive..... The maid was nice (you might want to tip a heavy one to get breakfast cooked by her) but other than that she made the place spotless everyday.... The manager of the property came very day to check on us and was very happy and welcoming ( my friends and I called him happy feet lol).... The restaurant at the property near by was on point ,,,,try their steak, one of my top 5 steaks I had in my life (I am a steak lover).... Security were present with guns to assure a safe stay....everything was close by (driving) from sosua to Cabarete.... Overall would definitely stay there,,,,,, Rating out of 10 would be 9/10

The house was everything that we hoped for. Mark and his team were excellent hosts. They made travel and activities arrangements for us. I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting Cabarete. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back again. 5 Stars all the way around….

This is a terrific apartment in an amazing location! We are very much looking forward to returning. The apartment has everything you need - great kitchen to cook yourself(if you want, although the restaurant is delicious!), right next to the well-kept pool, restaurant and beachside! All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. No issues with security. Ken was a great host! We enjoyed renting surf boards at Encuentro Beach and taking long walks. It was nice to have a rental car to explore Cabarete or Sosua's other beaches and restaurants.
