This was the best decision we made on our two week exploration of Sri Lanka. Spotlessly clean, comfy, modern and spacious apartment with breathtaking views! Ideally located for trips all around the island. Location is a 12 min tuk tuk ride (easy to book via the pick me app) from the centre in a peaceful area of Kandy. Kandy is a great city but my advice is not to stay in the city centre due to the noise and pollution. Here you are close by in perfect peace and quiet with beautiful wildlife to spot from the balcony - we saw fire flies for the first time! The wifi is excellent (digital nomads you can easily work from here) Kanil showed us his soon to be launched second apartment (same location) boasting a four poster bed and large private roof terrace which would be excellent for yoga/ sun bathing if this property is not available (check his profile for his other listing). He was an impeccable host providing a 5* service and the very best of Sri Lankan hospitality. Truly wonderful

Had the best stay here. From the second I arrived to I cannot recommend it highly enough. The host and porter met me and carried my things up the trail to the cabin. Sitting in the hot tub with these epic views was spectacular. The outdoor shower, the wood stove, everything was top notch. Praba made me the most delicious dinner and even started a fire for me in the wood stove and set up the hookah. I’ve already recommended this place to many of my friends. The hospitality displayed by Dana and Praba was on another level. This was worth every penny and more. Highly highly recommend

Achala’s place was a delight to stay at. Away from the hustle bustle of Kandy. The room is spacious and boasts of a stunning view of the mountains. He and his father both made me very comfortable. They were very helpful when I asked for recommendations or when I needed to figure out how to get around. Cherry on the top: I got to task local vegetarian delicacies, which I loved! Would definitely recommend.

Jason and Amali’s place is beautiful beyond the description. It’s nestled amongst nature and is beautifully designed. If you love nature then this is the place to be. Surrounded by trees it’s also filled with birds (flycatchers, peacocks, hornbills and many more) and animals (monkeys and even barking deer which you can see from the balcony). We stayed for only 3 days, but we would definitely come back for more.
