This was our first time in Iceland and we are soo happy we chose to stay here for the first part of our trip. It’s so cozy and feels so safe. It has everything you need and more. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It’s so worth it !!!!

Great place to stay. We were allowed to check in earlier and were able to get into the house as early as 12pm. You can conveniently park your car near the house.

Excellent, responsive host. We had an issue with the hot water on Christmas day. He came out and fixed the problem within a half hour. Great location to Vik and Selfoss. Private and quiet, except for the howling winds. Great restaurant close by. Highly reconmend.

Burma’s beautiful home is ideal for anyone who wants two bathrooms (hard to find in Iceland) and plenty of space. It’s in a quaint small town very close to the Golden Circle and not far from Selfoss, which has more substantial amenities. Easy drive to Gullfoss and Geysir, and a small grocery is within walking distance of the house. The views from the sunroom are beautiful. The kitchen is modern, functional, and spacious. The outdoor area, including the hot tub, is wonderful in the evening. The nearby restaurants, including those in Reykholt, are wonderful! We highly recommend this place for people who want extra space and don’t want to stay in the busy capital city. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Amazing cabin with breathtaking views - the pictures really don’t do this place justice! The large windows, hot tub and beautiful fireplace really do make this cabin special. The only thing I would mention, which has been picked up in other reviews, is that the bubbles and electrics don’t work on the hot tub. Although still to temperature (we were comfortable in -12) it would’ve been a better experience had it been fully functional. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend.

Kids enjoyed the most because of the PlayStation .We loved the cute radio playing in the morning during breakfast and the coffee machine was perfect ! We were very comfortable in your house . House was perfect for a family of 4. Also loved the attractions folder . We enjoyed the Mexican food from the food truck company and the ice creams from the local shop. Watched a nice movie together last night . Was home away from home . Thanks a lot .

We stayed for a few nights, and the place and location were absolutely breathtaking. You are fairly close to so many beautiful places in Iceland it makes it a great home base for a day of exploring. Coming back after a day out was homey and warm. Jóna had some great maps and recommendations for things to see while there which were also incredible!

I had a lovely stay in the apartment. It is very cozy and well-equipped, making it suitable for a longer stay as well. Communication with Unnur was easy and pleasant. I highly recommend this accommodation and would gladly return! 😊

Amazing place. We sat in the hottub at night with - 10 degrees while it was pitch black. A moment we will never forget. The place looked even better than on the pictures. We cooked at the place two nights, the oven is amazing and all the equipment is there. Linda responded very quick and was very nice. Thank you Linda!!

Lovely apartment with everything we needed. Excellent Ethiopian restaurant which was a little gem to find just beside apartment. Well worth and visit!

The couple who rent this property also live above it. When away they have a team of friends and relatives to assist you in any way they can. Lovely very clean and spacious home well placed near the Golden Circle attractions. Will stay again when we come back to Iceland.

Small apartment close to the secret lagoon and Thingvellir Park. Lilja was welcoming and friendly and her dog adorable and playful. Perfect for a short stay.

This place is amazing! We stayed early January in freezing temperatures and it was simply magical. Incredible views and a very homely house. We watched the northern lights in the evening and in the morning we went out for a walk on the farm which was well worth it. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking to experience rural Iceland.

Very nice house！located at a quiet and privated place but 10 mins easily drive to the town. Met the landlord who is very very nice and friendly！

Great location and a beautiful view from the balcony. The bunk beds were a good time and a nice touch.

We loved this place! Stayed for 3 nights and took day trips to see many sights. It snowed a lot and we are from South Florida so it was scary driving but they kept our parking and drive out plowed and walkways clear. We very much appreciated that. The thermal pools and steam room were awesome but definitely a drive and not a walk in that weather. The horses were beautiful and the dog (Kika?) was friendly and fun. We hoped for the northern lights and only got to see a small line the last night but the trade off was that we got to experience the beautiful snow everywhere and it was stunning and peaceful. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

This place is definitely cozy but its all we needed. It was driving distance to so many of the sights we wanted to see. It also had a pretty good veiw of the lights 1 night. It was clean and tucked away in a qieut little neighborhood. Tomasz was responsive and even helped me get back some headphones I forgot.

Great quiet location between Vik and Reykjavík. Good amenities and Helena was very friendly and forthcoming. A plus if you love nature and open spaces. :)

Great place, easy to find. Instructions to arrive very clear. The place was all we needed for our stay in Iceland. Host responded all question pretty fast. The fact that it has laundry helped us a lot to continue our trip in Iceland. Very grateful for the stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The provided directions were very helpful in finding the house. Check in was super easy and the house was as described. We got lucky and the aurora were active so we drove down the driveway to get more open skies to watch for a while. I would definitely stay again.
