Walk around the property down to an exclusive pine tree area leading you to our little private water access , where you can kayak , have a fish , or just take in the peace and tranquility Waipu , ruakaka beaches is a 30 min drive . Leave the hectic city behind , and enjoy the beautiful countryside .

The Boathouse

The Boathouse is situated in Lake View Estate, a gated community, for your peace of mind. Accomodation sleeps 2 or 4 utilising our comfy sofa bed. Estate is a few minutes drive from Mangawhai Village. Facilities include a swimming pool over summer (we provide pool towels), tennis court (we provide racquets and balls). There is a lake with walking tracks and a children’s playground. View of Mangawhai estuary and awesome sand dune can be seen from the property’s driveway and on Lake View walks.

You’ll love our place it's peaceful and private. You'll find it's been recently refurbished and is a very tidy self contained guest house with rural views from your back deck, the sea views can seen from the front of the units driveway. We are in a quiet and safe area, a great base to explore the Bay of Islands. Swimming beach within walking distance. Perfect for couples and solo adventurers. Everything supplied, complete kitchen, bbq, linen, etc just bring yourself and your personal affects.
