Katrina’s place was situated in a very private setting. Beautifully landscaped. Check in was a breeze. Perfect set up for a family of four (or 5) given the bedrooms were on two different levels and each bedroom was equipped with a full bathroom. The place has a stunning view of the water from the living room, patio, and both bedrooms. The car ferry to Russell is only a 5 minute drive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We had the most beautiful stay at Shaileshs place. The views are amazing, epic sunsets and sunrises. It’s super peaceful with the sounds of nature all around you! We held a family event at the property and everything was perfectly set up for entertaining. Shailesh was a wonderful host, they super responsive and helpful, and even left very thoughtful touches which made our stay even more special. Would definitely recommend this property and host!

A beautiful architecturally designed house with generous and well thought out living spaces, in a very private and quiet setting. The view is outstanding and would be hard to beat. The natural surroundings are a credit to the owners and are home to a variety of bird life including kiwi. Bedding and linen are very high quality. We loved it so much we are considering returning in the future.

Great house on an OUTSTANDING property. The views, the walks through native bush, the rock pools, it’s a magical place. The house is extremely comfortable and spacious. We all slept beautifully. Our hosts were exceptional- a perfect balance between being available to assist you, and leaving you in peace.

The perfect location to unwind and recharge. Waking up to the sound of nature was a good change. It truely is an experiential stay. All facilities and our room were immaculate (we stayed in the Allysia room which has its own ensuite) Rob, our host was great on communication. Definitely recommend staying at least 2 nights so that you can have a full day to use the kayaks and explore the island by bush walk. Take a book and some board games as well. We loved being able to take all our own food & alcohol of choice (the kitchen is fully equipped with everything!). The breakfast items provided was a bonus too. We’d love to come back again with a large group and rent the whole place out.

We had the best stay. My kids loved the pool and spa . Fay's place has everything you need Even came and checked the pool for us . I would highly recommend staying here especially if you are looking for some peace and quiet from city life.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful Gill's home is. The surroundings are so beautiful, short drive into town where you can find everything your looking for. Gill is such a wonderful and kind host, if you have a chance to visit her home, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making my son's wedding so special, so lucky to have met such a amazing woman.

Immaculate presentation in a simply stunning location. Fantastic hosts and complete privacy and seclusion. Whangaroa is a hidden jewel, off the beaten track, with plenty of great activities close by. Highly recommend to stay and play at Kauri Hill.

My whole family had an amazing stay! The view is just amazing! We loved everything in the house from the kitchen, bedrooms, toilets, fireplace and of course the infinity pool and the pool table! Excellent communication with the host and we were allowed to check out late, so thats a big 👍👍👍. Will definitely go back!

Amazing stay! The property was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable staycation. The pool and spa were a fantastic combination, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was excellent—close to everything and across the road from the Saturday markets. The hosts were great, and responsive to our questions. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!
