Monthly Rentals in North Vernon

Otter Retreat is a gorgeous, comfortable, and clean cabin! Was the perfect place to spend new years together with our family coming from three different cities. Was very well stocked and had way more amenities than we usually see in rentals! The house is in an absolutely gorgeous setting, beds were soft and plentiful, kitchen was easy to cook in, and WiFi worked great for the whole crew! Our only trouble was the second floor rooms and bathrooms. Two of my family members are 6’4” - the ceiling above the toilets on the second floor are 5’4” at max. The two twin room and upstairs king room are best for children or shorter family members. Our two taller family members took the main floor and basement bedrooms and were able to use the main floor bathroom just fine! Just something to keep in mind when planning out sleeping spaces. :)

Me and my partner loved staying here. The location was so perfect. We walked or biked to everywhere all weekend. The space is small, but didn't feel tight. Everything was clean and comfy. Communication with Dr.Chris and Jana was easy throughout our stay.

Great host! Very responsive! Answered all questions and even quickly replaced the tv that quit in the living room! Comfortable home. Although I wasn’t a fan of the mattresses but I made it work! Cleared all the snow for us during the storms and we didn’t even ask him to! I’d gladly stay here again!
