Charming, Peaceful, Magical - Baby Yurt

AllisonRating, 5 stars4 months ago
My first yurt! Thoughtfully designed and has the perfect little forest around it, complete with a bubbling fountain that sounds wonderful and relaxing. One of my favorite places I’ve stayed. Convenient to everything I needed, peaceful and serene environment, all the amenities were as described, and Ellen is a beautiful soul. So glad we stayed here. We will be back!

Dancin' Wolf Yurt @ #1 Rock Tavern River Kamp

AlexRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Our family of four stayed here during a cool winter night on the edge of freezing. The yurt was clean and spacious and TOASTY when we arrived. Overnight the indoor temperature dropped into the 50s, but Annette had warned us to bring extra blankets and we were all perfectly comfortable. The provided pillows and linens were comfortable, and the heated mattress cover on the queen worked wonders. The location itself is okay in the winter. We felt we had to keep an eye on the kids given the pitch down to the river and the speed of the road, but they both enjoyed it. The lot itself doesn’t connect to walking trails or larger areas to explore which was too bad. By car, it was very accessible to town and to the Luray caverns. Definitely a fun way to do an overnight!

Three-story Blue Ridge Yurt getaway

TyroneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our family thoroughly enjoyed this entire experience. The yurt is beautifully and intentionally designed. We loved the inclusion of many repurposed things and hand crafted items. It was very comfortable and there was more than enough space for our family of 6. The woodlands around the yurt and mountain views were breathtaking. We usually don’t get to bring Frieden (our German Shepherd) with us when we travel so the well built dog house and pin were definitely an extra bonus for us. Also our youngest daughter left behind a couple items that we were promptly asked about and returned to us. We are truly grateful to Erika for sharing her skill and vision. We left this Yurt excited to obtain one of our own!

Dreamy Yurt “1 of 23 Best Glamping Spots in U.S”

AimeeRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The Yurt was so much fun. It is camping, or glamping I should say, so keep that in mind. But it did have everything we needed. It was a little cold at night, but Pam got us extra heating blankets to help. Pam was very responsive to our needs and she went out of our way to make sure we were comfortable and happy, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was shared with one other Yurt and the water was warm (not hot) but, remember, you are GLAMPING so that should be expected. The microwave and the wifi are in the "barn," which is a short walk away. I have AT&T and had no service in the Yurt. We loved our time there and will definitely consider coming back again. It is in such an amazing location and you do get away from all the crazy of city life.

Garden Home Backyard Yurt Experience

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I must say, this has been on of my favorite stays in Portland. The greeting from Michael, was just the beginning. The openess and joy he brought upon arrival set what was to come. The yurt was magical and the aesthetics shared the essence of the host. it will be a spot for me many more times.

Romantic Yurt, Hot Tub, Farm & Tropical Greenhouse

LauraRating, 5 stars1 day ago
The yurt is magical and Ginny are Mark are excellent hosts. I'm a local who can't stay in my house right now due to some mold remediation and this stay was such a treat during a hard time. I had important work to finish (my dissertation!) and the yurt offered the perfect place. It was quiet, peaceful, and warm (despite a frigid night thanks to a fire in the big beautiful woodstove), with a lovely trail on their property and a hot tub to relax in at the end of the day. I can't recommend this spot highly enough! Thank you!!

The Sunflower Yurt Cabin, cozy with warm fireplace

Piyush KumarRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We went for a weekend getaway. The experience was what we expected it to be. It was surrounded by the woods, we got to light our own fire in the pit, roasted a few things. However, due to light rains had to wrap it up a little early (can't do anything about it), still thoroughly enjoyed it. The kitchen is equipped to prepare some basic stuff, and an outdoor BBQ for some heavy cooking (if weather permits). We were welcomed by the hosts and their two cute dogs. Expect that there will be other dogs around, as this is a pet friendly place. We made our own fire in the fire pit and room heater, there was plenty of wood, and tools to prepare kindling. We didn't need the room heater in fall season. My only feedback would be for washroom. Sometimes the smell can creep in the yurt if the flap in the toilet doesn't close correctly. Overall I would highly recommend the place, it was as it is put in the description.

Tranquil Forest Retreat – Escape the Ordinary

TaraRating, 5 stars4 months ago
It was truly more amazing in person. We walked up into the yurt, it was beautifully light up, cozy, and warm. The outdoor BBQ area was lovely as well. We got to see an eagle on the drive in and a fawn deer crossed our path while hanging by the fire. Would highly recommend and we will be returning to this relaxing get away.

Natural Mongolian Yurt on Biodynamic Farm and Spa

AmyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A perfect trip for a quiet, private get away! The yurt was cozy and comfortable. Although it appeared a bit older, and a few potential leaks, it was perfectly clean when we arrived. The property is lovely for a walk or ski, and the chance to visit the barn and animals was so unique and personal. It was the off season during our trip, but it appears that there are so many activities that run at the farm that make me want to return to check them out (concert/music, Christmas market etc.) You do have to manage the fireplace yourself to keep it warm - but plenty of wood is provided. The best feature of this trip for us was the spa visit - It far exceeded our expectations. Brand new washrooms/showers have been installed and made the spa night very special. Not to mention the very private experience sitting out in the hottub under the stars, and personal use of a sauna. Definitely would consider a trip again in the future!

"Shanti Yurt" with private hot tub in Bragg Creek

SadafRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful relaxing stay at the Shanti Yurt. The decorations were beautiful, hot tub was great, and the bed was very comfy. The place has all the amenities you might need. Nick welcomed us when we arrived. We had a nice chat and he helped us start the wood heater. He and Anna both assured us that we can ask for anything we needed. Overall it was a great experience and we will for sure return. Thank you Anna and Nick for being fantastic hosts!

We had a beautiful and cozy stay. The yurt was a great way to do some winter camping and still be warm. There are lovely hikes nearby and it feels super remote while also not being too far from all the things you might need.

Off Grid Yurt At Inshallah

KamishaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Jair, Liam, and crew were very responsive and gave plenty of information to support a fantastic stay. My partner and I enjoyed the peaceful space to read and take a break from electronics. It was a lovely space, well insulated and warm with the fire going. They were very kind to have started and kept the fire going until we arrived so the yurt was warm. Would absolutely recommend if you are willing to keep a fire going for warmth, and aren't fussy about needing to boil/heat water and more rustic stay.

Glamp in a yurt- camping but with style & comfort.

BetsyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Fran was an exceptional host, and the yurt was such a fun way to ring in the New Year. I won't mince words: it was chilly, but the buddy heater was a welcome amenity, and the bed was beyond comfy and piled high with blankets. The bathhouse 250 steps away was terrific, but by far and away my favorite perk was the en suite--the composting toilet around the corner on the deck, something I didn't know about until I arrived! Fran thinks of everything, and, given I was starving on arrival, the freshly baked bread was such a welcome treat. If you're a beer drinker, don't miss Blue Mountain Barrel House & Smokin' Barrel Restaurant. Thank you, Fran!

Tree Yurt

MaggieRating, 5 stars3 months ago
If you are looking for a cozy getaway to the woods that keeps you close to both cities and beautiful wild areas, this is it. The walk back to the yurt is private and beautiful -- between the fall foliage, the little mushrooms growing along the path, and all the chipmunks and squirrels there to greet you, it's something out of a storybook. The place is lit up well at night, with very cozy lighting inside as well! The woodstove was enough to keep me warm, even as a person now accustomed to Florida weather, and there were SO MANY blankets made available just in case. It was so lovely to lay in bed at night and watch the stars through the top of the yurt and listen to the acorns fall and roll down the sides - I've never slept more deeply at an Airbnb. The bathroom is outside, but the motion lights at night made it easy to go about my business. If you're a camper, it will feel like a luxurious little setup! I couldn't recommend it enough. Such a wonderful place to take a breather!

Monte Cristo Yurt

DerekRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It was great, beautiful location and a really cool yurt. The fireplace kept the place warm, and there were plenty of beds for a big group. We snow shoed there, it was 7.2 miles each way, took us about 3.5 hours each trip. The only complaint about the yurt was it listed there being a half bath but that turned out to just be an outhouse. Otherwise exactly what we expected, the host did a great job being available to contact and left extremely detailed explanations for everything.

City of Rocks Retreat - Pinion Yurt (Pets welcome)

TaylorRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Super cute yurt! It’s in a pretty quiet spot. You can hear the occasional car drive by but it’s not often. It was very peaceful and I love how close it was to the park. Town was very cute but we did go in the off season (January) so nothing was really open. It was a bit hard to keep warm at night but not unbearable. The history in the area is so interesting and the views are absolutely beautiful. Deer are also everywhere and entertaining to watch. The place was cute and clean and I do recommend!
