Apartment vacation rentals in Newtown

We had a fabulous stay! The unit was recently renovated with beautiful furnishings. The bed was very comfy and quiet with double pane windows. Really enjoyed the outside deck and being so close to both the village and CBD. The only drawback is if you have a car parked during the day (we had to move it a few times since we walked most places). Otherwise, it was terrific and we will be back! Thank you for the bike storage too.

Shelly's place was gorgeous, we absolutely loved it and would definitely stay there again. The decor was stylish and new, the bathrooms were lovely, and the apartment is really well appointed. The apartment was comfortable and spacious, it was so nice to relax in, it was quiet and warm, and the location was excellent. Shelly is really friendly and accommodating and great at communicating. We would highly recommend Shelly's place.

We had an amazing stay. Absolutely fantastic location right on Oriental Parade. The cable car ride to enter and exit added to the cool vibe and experience of our stay. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed watching swimmers and yachts in the bay over the weekend. The continental breakfast was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. We will definitely stay again another time. 10/10

Tim was an amazing communicator! I couldn’t have asked for a more responsive person. The place was very centrally located and even with my crook knees, everything was close by.

Very clean,quiet and spacious space which was perfect for my family of 4. Location was fantastic— a few minutes drive to Wellington CBD and the interislander ferry check-in. Parking space was super generous. Catherine was very responsive and helpful! Highly recommend!

It is very cute and cozy. Absolutely spotless. The location was handy to everything that we required (shops, restaurants etc). Very quiet neighbourhood, really enjoyed our stay would recommend to family and friends. We would definitely come back again.

We had a fantastic stay at Karen and Bryan's loft apartment! The place is very spacious, beautifully designed, and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Karen and Bryan were amazing hosts—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay again!

A really well located place for Island Bay with great transport links to the city. Interior is bright and is a good sized space. Suzanne was a very helpful host and responded very quickly.

Rachel’s apartment is an absolute gem! Meticulously clean & comfortable, it is well appointed for short or long stays. The location is super handy & an easy flat walk to Jackson St. Location was very quiet & we didn’t hear a peep of anything all night long, though maybe the supremely comfortable bed had something to do with that! Our stay was short as were in the region for one specific reason, & I was very happy to have found such a beautifully presented, convenient & fairly priced property that were happy to accept short stays. If you enjoy great beer, head into Abandoned microbrewery for a fun vibe & delicious brews 👍🏻😉🍺 Thanks Rachel, we couldn’t have been more delighted!

A beautiful place that is so special for so many details. It is cozy, comfortable, you feel like in the middle of nature although the Centre is within walking distance. Many birds around , like in a tree house. Fiona had prepared a very delicious bread and cookies for us, we enjoyed it every day of our stay. We really appreciated that, as well as having the possibility to do some laundry. We met both Ross and Fiona and enjoyed chatting to them very much. It was a wonderful and happy stay!

The BnB was clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance to Hataitai village where we enjoyed two brewpubs and a coffee shop. The bus was very convenient for going downtown.

Fantastic location for sightseeing in Wellington, right across from the Te Papa museum. Two bedrooms with very comfortable beds, each with access to the good-sized main bath with great shower. Wendy was great to communicate with throughout, and we had a very pleasant stay. Would absolutely stay here again; can’t emphasize enough what a convenient location this is if you’re a tourist in town for a few days.

Fabulous location in Cuba Street. We stayed a week and really enjoyed ourselves. The apartment provided everything we needed for that time. Communication with Richard was great. Would happily stay there again

Lovely apartment in an absolutely perfect area. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, and were easily able to walk to all the places we wanted to go. So great having a pool and hot tub available as well!

When all the planets align, and the stars meet, great things can happen. !! Everything aligned for us at Fiona's holiday Batch, and we had a wonderful stay. So many things to recommend, the bubbly effervescent host, the gorgeous beachside location, the comfy accommodation, the special treats provided, or was it Nicky and Marley, ? who welcomed us with a bark and a purr, and who were never far away throughout our stay. What ever it was, it worked a treat, we immediately felt at home, Fiona has created something very special, a unique combination of great hosting skills, honest down to earth lodgings, with lots of extras thrown in, and her pair of gorgeous fur babies, who melted our hearts.We would be back in a heartbeat. That's a huge "Yes" from us.

Stayed here for 4 nights as a solo traveler. The location is good for getting to the city centre either by bus from the road near the house or about 25 minutes walk steep hill then level walk most of the way. Feng is very helpful. There is a great view from the living room/dining room. The access to the property is down some fairly steep steps which have a hand rail at the side. Was very comfortable here and would stay again.

Fantastic place to stay for the weekend, we really enjoyed our time here and would be so keen to stay again. The place is so close to the square, making it easy to pop out and get food or a coffee. Dan was incredibly helpful and responsive. There were so many little extras included that we felt very welcomed when we arrived. Lots of little inclusions that really made it a great space eg. Speaker, tv with Netflix loaded, coffee machine.

Beautiful setting, tranquil surroundings, very recommendable

This is a fantastic spot with wonderful hosts. My husband and our adult son spent the month of December here and had a lovely time. Andrew is friendly and responsive. The house is beautiful. We spent many peaceful hours just watching the sea when not out and about on nearby walking trails and beaches. Handy to buses (2 and 30x) and a short 40 min ride to town. Short drive to Scorching Bay, Breaker Bay and the Eastern Walkway are virtually on the doorstep. The house is tastefully appointed and has everything you’ll need. A fantastic stay. Thanks so much.
