Was very nice, would stay again! Everything was very comfortable, and it's within easy walking distance of downtown and loads of bars, shops and restaurants. Nice place atop a hill in a suburb of Wellington - absolutely gorgeous views while walking the neighborhood when the sun's out! It's about a 20-minute walk to shops & restaurants but the neighborhood is decently connected to the rest of the city via bus.

Craig and Kylie were excellent hosts, and their home was a wonderful place for our family of four to enjoy for a couple weeks. The location was peaceful yet everything we needed was within walking distance (grocery, cafes, library, park, beach, shops, and more). The beds and lounge areas were very comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. Our favorite part about the house was the giant sliding glass wall that opens up completely to the backyard!

This home was beautiful and clean. Madeline was super helpful and response. Could not have asked for a better host of home. Thankyou for sharing your lovely place with us. We had the best time.

We really enjoyed our stay. We have family in Island Bay, and this was perfect for proximity while also feeling like a vacation. We loved going to the beach and listening to the waves crashing on the rocks. The Beach House Cafe, a few steps away, was a favorite, as is the Empire a short drive into Island Bay center. Peter was very communicative and helpful - particularly when we had to change our plans and he worked with us to change from his other listing. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, nice linens, and the convenience of laundry. Definitely a great stay!

Excellent stay and wonderful hosts! We had wifi issues and they truly went above and beyond to fix it for us! Wonderful location with a great view! We also really enjoyed playing the games they provide! Would highly recommend staying here!

Our second stay at this location. We absolutely loved it. The view according to our Wellington family is the best in town. Lots of space, everything you need is provided and it makes for a very easy stay for our family in summer or winter. Many thanks and we'll be back. Abbi

I’m from Australia and my stay was extended, that is when I came across this stunning place on Air bnb. This place was beautiful, it looks exactly like the pictures and the host was very welcoming where fresh cheese scones were offered upon booking! Thanks to the Aiyaz, I had a few family members with me who also reside in Wellington, but had never known of this place & commented on how beautiful it was. The view is spectacular and the hot tub is just amazing. The deck and the outdoor space is in general is just perfect. Came across the host upon check in and he was very friendly, communication was also great where he was welcoming to have family over but not to stay as we were to be mindful of neighbours. Plimmerton is beautiful. Thank you Aiyaz, truly an amazing experience and I have no regrets in choosing such an amazing place to stay.
