Boulsdon Croft Manor-hottub & summer pool/tennis

IsabelleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely stay at Boulsdon Croft. The setting is absolutely beautiful with so many nice places to sit and relax. We made good use of the hot tub and the lawns and enjoyed the communal spaces in the kitchen and upstairs. The kitchen was well equipped and we were left a lovely basket of food and a very tasty cake. Laurence kept in contact and was very helpful. All of us would absolutely come back and think a summer stay would be incredible.

Modern inner city 3 bed eco house

HughRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Quirky and Unusual but comfortable and easy to live in. Really peaceful for a city house. Downstairs is great, upstairs is cramped but livable and ok for sleeping. Situation is unique and when you arrive, although you have great instructions, you feel you must be doing something wrong - just believe the instructions!! We got taxis around town which was easy and quite economical for 4 people

The Garden House at Lilycombe Farm

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an a amazing stay. The home was so comfortable. I was visiting with 7 friends so they set all the room as single beds which was perfect for us. The pool was so nice and we enjoyed an evening swim while watching movies on the projector. The area is so peaceful and there are some lovely pubs nearby such as the litton. I would love to visit again!

Elegant Home with Pool & Sauna near Golf Course

TristanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Spacious and comfortable house for our family of 6 during a rainy February half term. The main reason to rent this place was the pool and sauna which didn’t disappoint and was great for our kids. There is a builder’s merchant right next door to the house which isn’t obvious from the photos but was not a particular problem with respect to noise etc. Lots of great walks nearby - which we will have to rediscover in the future in better weather! Thanks to Phoebe and the owners for making us feel welcome and for being available and responsive to our questions.

Luxury cottage with pool (summer) - The Lodge

LindaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Picked the Lodge for a Bank Holiday break with friends and it didn’t disappoint. We were warmly welcomed by Mel who gave us some great local recommendations. House was clean and had all the required amenities. Having the pool for the morning was great fun. Would recommend Small breeds centre if you have young children and Hay on Wye for a wander round

Vale Wild Cherry - Farm with stunning views

KevinRating, 5 stars19 months ago
Lovely hidden family staycation! Lovely location with loads of parking Easy check-in 13 mins drive to Breacon! Brilliant hot tub with amazing views (Only comment would be Chlorine content was a tad high for anyone with sensitive skin) Kitchen and bathroom were clean and cosy! Kitchen is fully equipped with amenities (Sauce pots and trays were available but no frying pans which is no big deal) Lovely welsh biscuits on arrival! Definitely recommend for a lovely retreat!

High View Barn Penallt

PeteRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved the off the beaten track location The 50m away only other property was out of sight and just helped us not to feel completely isolated. Everything was just right. The quality of the ban conversion. The underfloor heating kept a comfortable ambient temperature, and altho overast and chilly outside we didn't feel the need to light the wood burner and took our kindling home. The kitchen was well equipped kitchen, the bed comfortable. bek. The full with windows across the length of the kitchen made it a great spot to sit and take in the great view through trees free and across the valley. Birdsong and bird activity was a feature, with birds of prey from time to time high above, and a 7am knocking on the glass door from a grouse! Maybe reacting to its own reflection. Another time we would have explored the area on foot, very easy to do with footpaths crossing close by going down towards the river. but we opted for cosy and restful.

6 BR Retreat | Sleeps 10 | Free Parking & Wi-Fi

JoanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay in this house was simply perfect. The last-minute booking didn’t hinder the experience at all—there was so much space to spread out, and everything was pristine. The beds were super comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep, and the house had a warm, welcoming feel. It truly felt like we were at home. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone in need of a last-minute, clean, and comfortable stay.

Picturesque Spacious and Cosy Barn Conversion

BillRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Spacious barn conversion, tastefully decorated, very comfortable and warm. As a couple it was perfect for us, if sharing with others just be mindful the bedrooms don’t have doors between, just a curtain and a screen …this is very minor point. Very quiet peaceful location but short drive to the stunning Forest of Dean, perfect for long walks. Kitchen was really good had everything you could need and even a cheeky bottle of Prosecco in the fridge when we arrived.

Magical Brecon Beacons Eco-barn. Sleeps 10+

BeccaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was our second stay (of hopefully many!) at the magical Long Barn and it was even better than we’d remembered! It’s full of charm and personality everywhere you look. The open kitchen/living area is perfect for spending time together and feels so homely. The sofas and beds are very comfortable. Shower water pressure is top notch! The instructions for appliances and recycling were very clear and helpful and Simon is a very responsive host. The outside is just as beautiful as the inside and it was a privilege to be able to call this place ‘home’ for a few days. Diolch yn fawr for another fantastic stay!

★ Brecon Beacons Vicarage, stunning garden & views

Mary-AnneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
An amazing property in a beautiful location. There was 14 of us all together for a hen weekend and Nicholas was very accommodating to what we had planned. There is plenty of space for everyone to fit in easily and all the appropriate facilities. The gardens attached to the property are also wonderful too. Everyone who stayed for the weekend had the best time and constantly complimented the house, especially the bride to be.

The house is better in person than the pictures showed us. There was more space than we thought. Plus 3 bathrooms. Great space for families. Outside space awesome. Really lovely area. Loads to do. Walks great. We had wonderful few days exploring the woods. Bike riding. Chilling by the fire. Would highly recommend this house. We will be back to explore more.

Monmouth Georgian owned by our family since 1923

ClareRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Priory is a large comfortable house with a huge garden. It was very well equipped, clean and cosy with the comforting heat from the AGA. Matthew responded immediately to queries and replaced a missing cafetière impressively promptly for which we were very grateful. We would definitely stay again and recommend it without hesitation. The house is within easy walking distance of Monmouth Town and a short drive to scenic Symonds Yat and the Forest.

Skenchill Cart Shed-hot tub, up to 4 bedrooms

SimonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Adams place had a great view, a great hot tub and it was really clean and cosy. He was a really responsive host and went above and beyond even offering our toddler a sit in his digger. It was a gorgeous location with more local activities for a toddler (2 y.o.) than expected as well as excellent recommendations for pubs and local walks.
