This was an excellent stay. Brain expertly communicated with us. Everything was above and beyond our expectations. The fresh fruit, coffee, and teas were enjoyed by all and such a welcoming refreshment. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Jackson. Beautiful place with outstanding host.

A Dream Getaway at Britta's Lakefront Cabin! We had the most incredible stay at Britta’s cabin on the lake in the Upper Peninsula! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene setting and breathtaking views of the lake. The cabin itself is beautifully designed and spacious made it feel like a home away from home Britta was an exceptional host—she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Communication was seamless from the start, and she provided us with helpful recommendations. She clearly cares about her guests and has thought of every detail to make the experience unforgettable. If you're looking for a relaxing, picturesque retreat with a perfect balance of nature and comfort, this cabin is the place to be. We’re already planning our next visit and can't wait to return to Britta’s beautiful lakeside escape! Highly recommend!

Tim was friendly and responsive, the house looked exactly like the photos and there were stores and restaurants within walking distance. There are train tracks behind the property but trains only come by every couple hours and did not disrupt our stay at all. The outside space is awesome and we loved the hot tub, we did wish that the backyard was fenced in as we brought our dogs and would’ve liked to let them run around outside. Overall and amazing experience and would definitely book again!!

Overall, I give Bob and Linda’s lodge 5/5. It was exactly what I was looking for: an authentic off-grid UP experience. It’s clean and homey, and Bob and Linda are top notch hosts, going out of their way to make your stay a good one. If you’re looking for a great off-grid experience, this is it. However, it may not be for everyone. For example, we visited in October, and we had to heat the lodge through fireplaces as there is no central heating. I personally enjoyed that but can imagine others not wanting to deal with it. The lodge has an open concept floor plan, and I recommend guests consider sleeping arrangements carefully. While there are a ton of beds, there are few doors, and most sleeping areas don’t have one. So it may not be the best if you have people going to bed or waking up at different times.

We had a great stay at Molly and Nick’s place! It was our first time away with our newborn, dog and two friends, and their home was so cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed, and we loved lounging around the fireplace, cooking, and exploring the surroundings. Molly and Nick were incredibly responsive and helpful when we needed and even left us a thoughtful welcome gift. We’d love to come back in the warmer months to enjoy the screened in porch and outdoor fire pit. Thank you for a great stay, it was the perfect way to ring in the new year!

I can’t recommend Bridget’s place enough! My family and I came up to st ignace for a UP get away weekend and this was the perfect way to spend time together in the evening while also having privacy. The location is walking distance to Sheplers which was so convenient for getting to Mackinac island. The space itself is roomy, clean and gives you a beautiful view of Lake Huron. Bridget is also a prompt, clear and thoughtful host. If we ever get the chance, we will absolutely be staying with Bridget again in the future!

Very nice, short stay here. Nice views of sunrise over the frozen lake! Not as much action in the winter time but I’d imagine this place is a great summer spot. Clean place with lots of nice amenities.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at Ronda's place! The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the bathtub was a delight to use. It was a perfect space for a little weekend getaway; many restaurants and beach access within easy driving distance. There is not a ton of natural lighting, unless you leave the french door curtains open. I found having to compromise privacy for natural light to be a little disappointing, but I had a wonderful time. I would stay here again!

We’ve stayed at a number of Airbnbs in Marquette, MI over the past few years ~ Alexandra’s place is one of the best!! Location is AWESOME and the Airbnb itself is super spacious, clean, and modern. Can’t recommend it enough!

Cozy cabin feel. Excellent location. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the breakfast items. I would recommend a TV in the living room. Our only issue was out of the host’s control; it is a shared driveway and we had a full size truck. When we arrived the neighbor’s car was on their side and we had plenty of room. This was very appreciated with the 6 foot plus snow drifts. On Friday we did have an issue getting into the driveway because the neighbor had parked nearly in the middle of the driveway. We managed and it was not something our host could control! She was very responsive and we loved our stay.

The host is very responsive and helpful! I made a suggestion of adding baking sheets and ice trays for future guests and the host had them delivered the next day. It was also super nice having an EV charger available. We loved using the fireplace upstairs in the evening to stay cozy. As advertised, there’s no washer or dryer which is a little inconvenient for longer stays but it’s a great price.

Fabulous place to stay for MTU's Winter Carnival. It was so nice having access to the garage for the wintery weather and so close to campus. The apartment was clean and Lynette thought of everything to make our stay easy. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the porch and lake access. Thank you for a great stay!!

Our stay at Kathy’s place was perfect! The rental was spotless upon are arrival and Kathy was extremely flexible with check in and checkout. Her communication before and during our stay was outstanding and prompt. Kathy went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during are stay. I would definitely recommend her place and happily rent from her again in the future.

Zarifa is simply the best host out there. Very responsive, attentive and polite. She truly wants your stay to be the best. I would book with her every time if I could!

I booked Andrew’s place at the very minute. Andrew accepted our booking and when we got there, it was an amazing place with an amazing view. The place has all the amenities for 4 families to stay. All our family members loved the separate cabins for the privacy yet we spent significant amount of time in the main house. The place had multiple outdoor activities ready for us. It is a safe and quiet place. Andrew/hosts were super fast at responding to our requests and flexible. I already recommended this to my families and planning to book again in the near future. Thank you for everything and we are already planning to come back soon.

We enjoyed Ethan's home as a getaway for 3 couples who love to play pool, prepare good food, and sit by the fire. Ethan's stay has a very decent pool table, spacious kitchen, and the fireplace was simple to operate. A bonus was the hot tub, which fits 6, more comfortably 5. Everything was comfortable and as expected, with plenty of room in all the common areas. The living space was especially cozy. The iPad & speaker system on the main level was a nice touch. The outside area is quite private and functional with a grill and outdoor seating. Basically, we used all the amenities this property has to offer, and everything went smoothly. My only caution would be to mind the outside deck parameter after dark, as there is minimal lighting, and it was difficult to see the stairs and walkway leading to the hot tub.

The location was ideal, within walking distance of everything, making it easy to be out and about without ever needing to get in the car. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with all the little touches that made it feel like home. The real highlight was the hot tub! It was the perfect way to relax under the stars. The hosts were communicative and made sure we had everything we needed for a seamless stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat out of the city with convenience, comfort, and coziness, this is the spot.

Great Place. Great Location. Be sure to confirm the address before going. The address AirBnB provided took me down dirt roads in the middle of nowhere 15 miles from the actual camp ground. But once you arrive the staff are great and very helpful

A great location for our trip to visit family in Grosse Pointe. We had a lovely stay, and will stay here again if we can.

Our stay at Big Bear was great. Shelly was so quick to get back to us whenever we needed her. The house was clean and cozy. We stayed in the lower unit and as other reviewers have said, you can hear upstairs neighbors—ours were pretty loud at first but we were able to talk to them and they were respectful about it. It did not affect our stay though since everything else was perfect.

Very clean retro but clean ski-in / ski-out! Loved the convenience of our stay. Somewhat close quarters but it fully met our family's needs. Bunk beds for the kids + pet friendly option made it all possible. Thank you!
