Ale was a fantastic host! She was super responsive, generous with recommendations, and made sure I had the best experience possible. The place is beautiful and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed, an amazing shower, and a deep pool that I absolutely loved. It’s right in the heart of Mérida, surrounded by restaurants, cultural activities, local commerce, and easy transportation options. Be ready for an authentic downtown colonial experience—lively, vibrant, and full of character. The kitchen was well equipped (even though I didn’t use it much), and Ale kindly placed water and local treats to enjoy. I had a wonderful stay and am already looking forward to coming back!

It’s a good place to select. The one caveat you give up is being able to walk around to local spots other than La Isla Mall you will need to Uber. The mall has Liverpool which has many restaurants inside of it which was great when we rather stay near the Air Bnb. The pool and workout room was nice on the hot afternoons
