Vacation rentals with a sauna in McGaheysville

We had a very nice stay at Massanutten. Check in and check out procedures were simple and easy to follow. We loved seeing the wildlife.

I didn’t actually check into this condo. I’m leaving a review because Airbnb and Massanutten worked together well to assist me with my cancelation. Situations like that can get sticky, but they did a great job and I felt like Massanutten deserved the 5 star review.

I was looking for a nice mountain getaway and I feel like I found exactly that. The suite is part of a series of buildings/cabins at the end of a gravel driveway. The mountains are very pretty as you arrive. The suite itself was rustic but nicely equipped. I felt like I had everything I needed and it was very clean. There was a pond and walkable paths also. Great chance to explore Shenandoah National Park and Charlottesville also! If you need a place to stay in this area I felt like it was a good choice. Nice outdoor seating area also.

We enjoyed bringing our teenagers to Massanutten. Our rental was perfect for our family. Comfortable beds. Just enough of the basics in the kitchen. The balcony was nice to sit out and take in the scenery. We definitely will plan on coming back.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Woodstone at Massanutten and appreciate Greg offering his timeshare credits at this resort as an Airbnb. Note: this is not Greg's personal home/condo and the actual condo number is assigned by the resort when you check in at the resort lobby (with a very long line but friendly staff). The condo was exactly as Greg described (although you could tell the unit hadn't been used in some time) but it was comfy and cozy - just what we wanted - and we were fortunate to have a gorgeous view. Greg was very responsive from before we booked when I had questions about the property; he responded immediately when we had an 'emergency' on site and he resolved it quickly with Woodstone; and he even sent a local event suggestion the day before we checked out. I would definitely book with Greg again as I know he would make sure that whether it's his actual home or a timeshare he has credits for, he will ensure we are taken care of so we enjoy our stay. Thank you, Greg!

We had a large group at the compound by the swinging bridge for New Years and it was absolutely ideal! We played games by the fire place, cooked delicious meals, relaxed in the sauna and hot tub, danced and watched movies in the game room, laughed around the fire pits, played frisbee in the lawn, and watched an incredible double rainbow over the river after a thunderstorm. The beds were very comfortable and the vibe was cozy and lived in. Taki was great to communicate with and we’re very thankful to him and his family for creating such a sanctuary. We definitely hope to return!

Super cozy and comfortable home away from home feel. The decor is amazing and perfectly fits the layout of the home. Upstairs is warmed by the fireplace and spectacular views of the valley and its numerous deer making it easy to melt into quiet contemplation. The stereo is set up to help set the mood. Downstairs, foosball and air hockey plus a great selection of movies provide indoor entertainment. That and the loft ensure there is room for everyone to spread out while still being close. The forest behind provides a great spot for quick hikes and exploring the beauty of the Shenandoah National Park. Dual ovens and coffee pots is a nice plus.

Shabina was a great host. The property is lovely and there are so many activities! There was a minor issue with the hot tub but Shabina responded very quickly and the hot tub was back in business in no time. And she brought us some pastries for the trouble, which was totally unnecessary but very kind. We also loved the fenced yard for our dog. Thanks for having us!

Peter has an excellent place. He communicates very well and his place was easy to access. The house is spacious and located in the best location to be away from the city noise. We had 9 people and there were 5 spacious bedrooms. We were able to take a walk in the area which has excellent trails. 10/10 recommend. If you want to watch TV you should bring your own Firestick or Roku stick. Peter has TVs but no cable. Other than that, the best place.

the house is just as described, clean and neat. well located, with beautiful surroundings, we were a group of 11 adults and a few children, space inside was perfect. highly recommended.

Shaun’s place looked exactly like the pictures and was very clean and quiet. The location was perfect and we enjoyed exploring the area and being so close to the ski slopes. Our experience was amazing and I will definitely be back in the future!

This was a family Christmas get away. We had nine family members and the house was open, roomy and so much to do just staying in. Loved this!

Stephen and Stephanie are amazing hosts!! We went with a group of friends and felt right at home! They thought of everything with this home! The communication was always timely and thorough. After a long day of snow activities, coming back to this home made ALL the difference!! We were even able to see the ski slopes from the beautiful windows at night! Very clean, very comfortable and the views are fantastic! We already planning to come again!
