Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in McGaheysville

Alex was SO FRIENDLY and easy to communicate with. And oh my, was this place magical. Alex’s home was tastefully designed and immaculately clean. My partner and I spent the days skiing at the Massanutten Resort and the evenings playing ping pong and air hockey and then hibernating in the comfy master bedroom. So much fun and we had the absolute best sleep either of us have had in months. I feel so rejuvenated after coming here, I will definitely bring the kids next time to check out the enormous water park that is basically across the street. This was bar none the best DC getaway I’ve had in the past several years. Thank you SO much Alex!!

We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb. The fenced in yard was great for our dogs and we were able to enjoy our time knowing our dogs would have space to run around. Would recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting for a weekend trip. The location is great if enjoy wineries and hiking. Again, if you have a dog you will love this place. Look forward to staying here in the future!

We really appreciated the last minute opportunity that Tyler and Erica gave us to spend a night at their home. Unfortunately we didn’t have chance to utilize the majority of their amenities but they were so flexible and friendly. Would definitely recommend their space to anyone in the future! Seth and Carla were extremely responsive during our stay! We loved how many beds this house had and we were able to all spend time together while comfortably being seated around tables/living rooms! We wish the fire pit had seating or that fireplaces worked, but we loved this property and its proximity to wineries and ski resorts!

Stephanie’s house is absolutely wonderful! Fully stocked with everything anyone could need. Lovely kitchen, shower and relaxing bedrooms and living spaces. Her house is just around the corner from Historic downtown Luray. We walked everywhere, enjoyed all our meals and shopping experiences. We explored the Luray Caverns, which are amazing, and hiked in the National Park. A truly relaxing, joyful experience!

Place was lovely and exactly as listed. Spacious , great views, clean and lots of DVDs and board games. Highly recommend staying here!

Katie and Evan were great hosts.! We were a family of 5 adults and 4 dogs and were very comfortable at this house. Loved the added dogie treats, beds and little extras they left for the dogs. The house was quaint, clean and nicely decorated. It had room out back for dogs to stretch their legs. The house is on the Main Street in downtown Luray and convenient to restaurants and shops. Being right on the street, there was a bit of traffic noise, but it quieted down at night. Katie and Evan provided recommendations for local restaurants and were very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for letting us stay at your home! We enjoyed our stay!

We are a group of 6 hikers (3 couples) so we come to Shenandoah National Park frequently. We have been at a number of houses in the area and this one is our favorite. Beautiful spacious home, well equipped with everything. We loved the back area- the firepit and the hot tub was at a perfect temperature. The beds were comfortable, the house was spotless. We walked into Luray each day and had a glass of wine at Cork and had some beer at Hawksbill Brewery. Just a lovely stay. And Chasidy was very responsive and helpful. We will absolutely be back!

Very homey place, plenty of space and high ceilings make it feel even bigger. Plenty of space for multiple people to stay as well as a full kitchen with spices and dishes provided. Suzy was a very polite host and I definitely consider her place, especially if you are hitting the mountains and hikes. Also the water pressure in the shower was amazing, definitely recommend here!

We enjoyed staying at Kirsten's and Chris's. The place was easy to find, super clean, and very comfortable. Kirsten and Chris responded within minutes whenever we communicated with them. We had to leave a day early due to a snowstorm, so they refunded us for most of the second night of our booking. Wonderful experience!

Super cute space and perfect for a weekend visit with my JMU student. Highly recommend.

We’re an outdoorsy family and we all loved our stay in Glenn’s home, right by the water with easy to launch area for the kayaks, no light pollution at night to watch a blanket of stars in the sky. Our fur baby loved it just as much and took a liking to Glenn. Thank you and hope to be back this summer!!!

This was a great Airbnb! Very spacious and very clean. It's in a great location between Harrisonburg and Luray. The neighborhood was very quiet and Sara provided great instructions. We'll definitely stay again if we come back to the area. Loved Luray Caverns!

I had a great stay! I would definitely book again.

This was my second extended stay and it was twice as nice! I felt right at home. Carrie is a great host, proactive and responsive with communication. It snowed during my stay, and she was very conscientious about making sure I was able to come and go as needed--though I was happy to stay indoors and cozy :) 10/10 recommend!

William is a great host and super friendly, the place was nice and clean and exactly what was described, it has everything you need to cook great home cooked meals. The view all around the property is outstanding sunrises above the mountains in the front of the house and sunsets that overlooked the slopes of massanutten on the back side. Short distance to several breweries and really good local restaurants. Luray caverns is only a 20-25 min drive which we visited and was a spectacular site to see. I went snowboarding one day which was part of the trip and we are only 19 mins away from the ski drop off area! This was a great find and an awesome view all around , lol pun intended! Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

We enjoyed our stay! Cleanliness is important and this place was very clean! We utilized the kitchen a lot because the food was terrible on the resort, it didn’t matter because we had everything there to cook. Great Stay!

Andy was very responsive and gave clear instructions. We had been at this resort a few times in the past and the unit we received was very nicely appointed and updated. We had all amenities and were super close to the indoor pool and gym. Comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gregory's place! We were walking distance from the pool, which was great. We were traveling with our toddler daughter, and the condo had everything we needed in terms of space, kitchen, bathtub, etc. We brought a clip-on high chair and pack n play. The only note I'll add for others' awareness is that check in took a while. We arrived on a Saturday around 5 p.m. and the lines were very long. We were also originally in the North lobby until we realized lines were shorter and I believe check in for this condo was only available in the South lobby anyway. This is not to take away from the beautiful stay we had, but I know it can be helpful to know for planning, especially when traveling with kids!

The condo was spacious, cozy, and furnished with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Julianne was funny, welcoming, and very accommodating. My husband and I and our dog had a wonderful stay!

BEST PLCAE TO STAY AT! The moment you enter the house just feels like you are at home. The detailing in the home is done fantastically and it's completely private. The morning view and birds chirping throughout the day is the best part. Not to forget, Gr is the sweetest host and she has put in so much efforts to make the stay a memorable one. 10/10 for the property, stay and the host.

Great unit! We had the downstairs two bedroom luxury suite. Loved that it was ski in and ski out! Wish our jacuzzi had worked and that we had a coat rack but that’s it! Ask for those to be checked before you arrive and ask for ice. Awesome stay and amazing experience!
