Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lutsen

Had a work/girls trip to the area from out of town. I liked the location and generally quiet neighborhood. The home was very nicely cleaned. Should note the bedrooms are all 2nd level, guests will need to climb stairs to rooms. The 4th guest bed is an airmattress. We did experience problems with television and internet during our stay but host was helpful to try to correct. Would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The beds were comfortable, we watched a DVD she had, there were lots of interesting books, we could walk to downtown, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals there. We felt right at home!

Annie's place was perfect for our trip! Everything was clean, instructions clear, and plenty of room for our small group of guys on an annual ski trip at Giant's Ridge. We will certainly look at booking this property again in the coming years!

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The place was so cute and cozy and was exceptionally clean! Great place to stay

This is either our 2nd or third time staying at Greg's place and it is perfect for us. Located in a very peaceful area and near much of what Duluth has to offer us. Greg was always quick to respond to any questions we had and a super host. We would definitely book there again!!

Perfect location right downtown! The space was beautifully decorated, perfect size and layout for two couples to split. Appreciated Kelsi's proactive communication with directions and flexibility for an earlier check-in time. Definitely plan to stay here again!

Wonderful spot for guests looking to explore superior or Duluth and its surrounding areas. Amazing value, lots of amenities with a nice kitchen and cozy atmosphere. The hosts were great and it all felt very private and secluded. I recommend this spot for your next stay. They have lots of great board games too :)

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Billie's place! The kitchen was furnished nicely! There were more than enough towels, and the location was ideal. Bill was extremely responsive, and reached out to maintenance immediately about an issue that arose. I would definitely stay at Billie's again, highly recommend for anyone, friends going on a girls trip or even a family trip.

Appreciated that Michelle anticipated our needs and was extremely quick on replying to my questions. Everything was perfect. My husband needed to be use a knee scooter and the layout of this house made it easy for him to get around with the scooter or crutches. Even made having our travel with us easier with their added touches. Will definitely try to rent again next time we travel to Superior.

This place was a real gem of a find. A home away from home. We stayed for a few days as we came from the UK to visit my son in college during the spring break. The location of the apartment was perfect. A stone throw away from the centre of superior and a few minutes drive to duluth. Taylor and Madison were constantly checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable. The apartment had everything one needed to feel at home and had a real home feeling. Instructions were clear and I must say I loved the idea of alternative parking on the road. This was my third time in superior and I can confidently say that I won't be staying in a hotel from now on. This place would be my first choice. Thank you Taylor and Madison for making our trip so special.

Paul’s place is very unique. It is an apartment in an old house which has been well preserved and taken care of. There is a beautiful view of Lake Superior from every room. Kathy has added sweet touches that make it homey, interesting and artistic. Kathy helped us with the heat and showed us how to access the cupola. You can see for miles. This apartment is accessed by steep stairs as is the rooftop view, so it is not for those with physical challenges. The kitchen is well stocked and is the heart of the apartment and we had a meal with friends. We loved our stay here!

Karla’s place was cozy, clean, and quiet, and right in town. We had a relaxing weekend getaway (my boyfriend, me, and our small/medium dog). The place was well stocked with everything you need to cook (and picnic, if you stay in the summer), and a short walk to restaurants, shops, and bars. Castle Danger brewery is always a favorite, but we finally stopped into Tipsy Mosquito and it’s a lovely craft cocktail bar—highly recommend. The walks in the area were perfect for spotting fluffy deer and the owl irruption going on right now. 🦉

Love it! Having 2 bathrooms helped getting ready quick in the mornings. We stayed for 2 nights for Spring Break. We were able to ski out from the condo and follow the trail towards the Voyagers lift. The Bear Access lift, closest to the condo, was not open when we went. This place is walkable to the chalet. We love the fireplace which we use it several times a day to dry our outfits since it was dumping snow when we were there. Myron the owner is so responsive to all our questions. I think the best thing I love about this place is that when I’m ready, I just go out and ski from the condo. I don’t have to haul any gear and find a spot at the chalet. Then I can come back and see if my daughters are ready and drink more coffee, have lunch in our own private space. If we ski here again we would rent the same place. Kitchen has what we needed to cook. My mom loved the place so much that she made sure to clean it good and put back together. I asked her why, she said so that we are welcome t

Great location and comfortable space! Sleeping could get hot if you run hot at night, but ceiling fans and the window ac in the living room helped a lot. Loved how easy it was to access everything in town by walking. We had a car, but you could easily go without and rent a bike or moped right downstairs if you want to go to the state park for hiking or kayaking (which we highly recommend!).

Bluewater is exactly as described- beautiful views of Lake Superior and cute and cozy. The fireplace was especially lovely to have, and the bedroom/bathroom/kitchen were perfect for our needs. Great place and easy drive to both Tofte and Lutsen Mountain.

We had a great stay for our anniversary, Christine helped us with what little questions we had during our time very quickly. Would gladly stay again for another holiday in the future. Thank you so much.

This place is nicely kept up and beds are comfortable !!! Lots of space in apartment to bring in ski gear and close to multiple ski hills. This is our second time staying here and we will keep coming back!!! BONUS it is walking distance to everything in downtown and I love that it’s a 3 min drive to Hurley, WI for more fun things to eat and doooo !

We had a great week-long winter outing. The unit is right across from the ski resort, but quiet and peaceful with views overlooking the frozen lake. We were able to take long (snowshoe) walks with our dog on the Mesabi trail, plus the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed to make meals.

We had a wonderful girls' weekend! Beautiful views, fireplace, relaxing spaces, comfy beds, all the amenities one would need, including makeup remover & phone chargers next to the lamps, was a nice touch! Hot tub and pool were wonderful! Great recommendations for places to go around Tofte, Lusten & Grand Marais! Thank you for being amazing hosts! It was definitely a home away from home!
