Words cannot fully capture the warm feeling I experienced when I opened the door to Miss Roxanne's home and life. Roxanne is an artist whose art adorns the walls, creating a fabulous atmosphere. The house is well-furnished, with comfortable beds and lovely bed linens. The kitchen is well-stocked, making cooking and enjoying family meals easy. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with the lake steps away. One of the highlights of my stay was meeting Miss Roxanne and Mr.Tom, who lives next door. They are so kind and have great stories about the history of the area and their homes. The pictures do not do the home justice; it's much nicer!

Tania was a great host. Very accommodating and fast with messages and communications. Her house was also clean with plenty amenities.

This house is absolutely magazine worthy! We reserved the house for 4 couples over our wedding weekend in Birmingham. It was the perfect place to have everyone together for the weekend, lots of common areas, the porch is amazing, and plenty of privacy when needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here. Great host and very beautifully decorated and well appointed home. Thank you!

It began on a sour note, but thanks to our host's outstanding hospitality and attentiveness to my family's needs, we had a wonderful time; his timely responses were impressive.

Tammi went out of her way to make sure we had all we needed, and answered any questions in a timely manner. The tiny home was great and very accessible for fishing. We will be back again next year.

RON’s HOUSE, was the place to be for a quick spring break outing. We really enjoyed this home, with the amenities (board games). Will be rebooking soon.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely. My son was competing in the NJROTC Orienteering National Championship at nearby Oak Mountain State Park. David's place was close to everything, but somehow felt miles away. David came to greet us after we arrived. He was attentive and responsive to our needs and concerns. There was a line of powerful storms coming across the southern half of the US during our stay, which was causing tornadoes. He called to let us know where storm shelters in the area were if needed. Fortunately for all they were not necessary. The cabin had everything we needed and, as advertised, nothing we didn't. No tv, no internet. It was nice to disconnect from everything for a bit. At one point the neighbor's dog "Lizard" came and sat with me on the porch for a bit. She got some sausages for her trouble. David made the checkout process extremely simple. My wife and I would certainly stay again if ever in the area. Thank you allowing us to stay David, we appreciate it.

Our family felt right at home. We loved the privacy of this beautiful home. We always felt safe. The location is very convenient to the interstate. We could not have asked for a better temporary housing experience. We really fell in love with housing amenities like the family room, kitchen, walk-in shower, beautiful large completely fenced backyard, large windows to look out and feel at peace. The accommodation is very nice and the location is excellent. The area is pleasant and you can get everywhere. The apartment has everything you need and is comfortable. Sara was also very helpful and took care of everything within a few minutes and solved problems quickly. The accommodation is highly recommended.

The stay couldn't have been more perfect. It was centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go, and the room couldn't have been more perfect. My wife absolutely adored the living area, and we were able to enjoy home cooked meals, which is rather a luxury for us while traveling. I would absolutely stay here again, and I would 100% recommend this place to all of my friends should they ever get into Birmingham for a stay.

We enjoyed the stay and were able to back in our 7x16 trailer. House was clean and so nice to relax after a long day at Barber Motorsports track. Loved the animals and of course Lulu who was there to greet us when we drive up! Enjoyed playing some basketball with the kids too 😊 Our first Airbnb and a great experience. Cute and cozy tiny home! Everything described was fully met. And even with it being a tiny home, we felt right at home!! We saw there was a grill but we forgot to buy charcoal, so the air fryer saved us!! Glad they had that available!! The only worry we had at time of booking was how the showers may be at the campground since this tiny home didn’t have a shower- but so glad it didn’t stop us bc the entire stay including shower house was wonderful & so clean!! We would def come back here again!!

Perfect location for hosting 10 ladies during my wedding weekend. Everyone had their own bed and with 3 full baths it worked perfectly. A few things to note, the futon is not a functional bed, the frame is broken so you can place the mattress on the floor. There aren’t any washcloths in the house if that matters to you, pack a few. It didn’t affect us. Plenty of towels and tons of extra pillows were available. Location is in a very quiet and pretty neighborhood as well as being very safe. An easy drive to many great little spots to shop and eat, like Homewood, Trussville, and downtown BHAM. Place was clean and ready, so plenty of glasses, dishes, etc.

Private beautiful place to stay….. My granddaughter run around backyard while the adults sat on the deck…. Beautiful inside and out rustic looking. Loved the bedrooms…. Would definitely stay again, and Recommend to others!!!

James was very nice and helpful! The treehouse is comfy and cozy and the surrounding area is all very beautiful!

The home is a beautiful cottage in a very quiet area of town. The interstate was very close which made getting to our destination easy.

Shannon was super responsive and more than willing to accommodate our needs as we were closing on our home here! We felt right at home and enjoyed the back porch and side yard for our dog! Comfortable beds and fully stocked kitchen! Would stay again 🩷

We booked a stay here back in November and had such an amazing experience that we decided to come back. The hosts are responsive, considerate and just overall compassionate. I would recommend this listing 10x over!

The rental was extremely clean, cozy, and well decorated. The property is peppered with trees, and it is well maintained. It gives a very rustic feeling, like you are staying in a fancy cabin. Amber was outstanding. When you rent her room, you also get a terrific trip advisor. We had a great time exploring the local waterfall and bird sanctuary based on her recommendations. She was always quick to respond to any inquires, and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. We would certainly want to visit again the next time we are in the area.

We made a last minute impromptu trip from Indiana to Alabama for our granddaighters birthday. The host, Traci is such a pure gem! She was more than flexible when I inadvertently confirmed the wrong check out date, offering a solution during what could have presented a challenge. She goes the extra mile so that you feel welcomed and comfortable. This house was impeccably clean and had all that you need. I look forward to our future stays here!
