Cute vintage house that is decorated nicely—country cottage style. Beds and bedding comfortable, bathrooms clean with plenty of towels, and well-supplied kitchen. Glad to have the dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer, and loved the big kitchen table! Good parking s and it was nice to be able to bring a dog! Dog supplies, puzzles and toys for kids, and grill and firepit were other great features!

We were all comfortable and used the house as a base camp for hiking some areas close by.

Beautiful property and lot. Brian and Buddie 🐶 were so kind and hospitable. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

This home was absolutely beautiful! It was clean, and no detail was overlooked. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Although most of my time was spent away working with clients for a conference, it was such a relief to return to a comfortable and well-kept space at the end of the day. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-maintained home away from home!

This is the second time we stayed at Woods and Water and it was just as wonderful and relaxing as last year! The property is private, there is everything you need and it’s just so relaxing for us. We will be back next year!

If you’re looking for 5 star, it is not that. But if you’re looking for a great place to spend time together with your family and great place on the lake, Joan’s place is perfect. Highly recommended location.

This is an apartment in a beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood. The area is very quiet. Despite being a basement apartment I rarely heard footsteps upstairs, and when I did it wasn’t loud or obtrusive. The host was friendly , and the instructions for the room were clear and helpful. The washing machine was clean and worked well. Note that the only window is the frosted one in the door, so if you need windows then this may not be your best option. I’d stay here again.

We came in briefly so a funeral in town. I booked this place for my daughter and I. It was so nice , clean and well decorated. If I ever came bk that way I would definitely stay here again.

We unexpectedly had to find a place to stay during our move to Birmingham. Jacob's is located close to our new home in a quiet and pretty neighborhood. Jacob was very helpful, friendly, and responsive to our communications. We liked the space - it was clean and had plenty of room/amenities - and we will definitely recommend it to our friends when they come to visit us if we do not have room at our place.

What a Wonderful Find! We loved the welcoming feel and coziness of the condo. The hosts were easily accessible and allowed for an early check in due to plans changing unexpectedly. We will be back soon!!!

I highly recommend a stay at McKenzie’s place! It’s gorgeously decorated, super clean, the beds are amazingly comfortable, and the location is perfectly situated to get around Birmingham easily. We had a small situation with hot water, but McKenzie was so helpful in resolving the issue. I have recommended McKenzie’s place to several friends in Birmingham as the ideal spot for guests visiting!

Very nice place. Only complaint would be that the bed frames are squeaky when you move, which is minor.

Great communication and accommodations. The place was spotless and felt very safe staying there. Close to a lot of shopping and places to eat. James was wonderful to work with.

The condo is excellent! The host was fantastic; extremely accommodating and responsive. They show above and beyond hospitality with TONS of snacks, coffee options, and toiletries. A++

We felt at home the min we opened the door. The house felt loved in, but kept clean and in good repair, and that what we wanted. We had 4 people staying and had plenty of room. Charles sent very clear instructions and I felt if I needed to I could reach out, thankfully I didn’t need to. I will save this listing and use it again!
