Adorable Traverse City Home Near West Bay

TheresaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Ashlee was so helpful and was a great sounding board for questions! The house was inviting even with its quirks. We had the chance to take a nice bike ride on the trail only a stones throw from the house. It was also conveniently located to downtown and many wineries on the Leelanau Peninsula. Will definitely keep this location earmarked for future trips. Came for a girl’s weekend but would also be great for families with kids!

Storybook Cottage on the Bay–Summer Wks Available!

NinaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We have rented homes for many years and we’ve enjoyed staying at “the Stone” the most! Aside from this home being lovely , quiet and beautifully furnished , having the freedom of being able to wander down the lawn directly onto the beach on Grand Traverse Bay is an utter delight to the senses … And if you’re the perfect guests, she’ll share secrets with you about the local favorites like where to get fish cakes made with lake trout …. Just don’t be here when we want to be here …🤩

Waterfront w/Dock On Lake Leelanau

JulieRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This house was in a great location! It's right on Lake Leelanau, so the view out the back is really pretty in the mornings and evening. It was also really close to town, which is right in between Suttons Bay and Leland, and close to wineries, distilleries, and breweries. There's one side of the house, above the garage, that has its own living room within a bedroom and small side room that has bunk beds, so it would be perfect for one family to share. I stayed there for a girls' weekend, and it was great for us as well. The kitchen was well stocked also, which was really helpful! We all said we'd stay there again.

A fantastic Fall getaway for our family! The cabin was close enough to towns but remote and on the water for peace and quiet. My kids loved being on the beach hunting for Petoskey stones! We will absolutely go back!

The place was very spacious and had lots of amenities. Very speedy clear communication which was appreciated. My one complaint was the busy road between the dock and the house. Otherwise lovely stay.

Cozy waterfront cottage on Lime Lake

CaitlinRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This was our first time using airbnb and I was a little apprehensive. Carlie made the experience so easy and we felt welcomed right away! The home was SPOTLESS, which was the most important thing to me. Everything was well stocked and organized. Plenty of games and books. The lake was absolutely gorgeous and we spent lots of time kayaking and sitting by the bonfire. I'd rate Calie and her house 10/10!!!

Big Glen Lake - Beechwood Cottage

CarrieRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had the best time at Beechwood Cottage. It was our 35th anniversary and it was the best getaway. The lake was pristine and the sky filled with amazing sunrises and so many stars. The home was so comfy and had every comfort you could want. We loved hiking and exploring the beautiful coastlines. Ugh. Wish we could live there but man was it nice to escape to that dreamy cottage.

Two cozy lake front cottages

HankRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Carlie's place is absolutely one of the best vacation rentals I've ever stayed in. The two houses and location are beautiful, and we found ourselves wanting to hang out at her place instead of going to some nearby beaches (which are also great). Carlie provided a lot of great amenities that really hit the mark for us: beautiful dock, paddleboard/kayaks, giant splash pad, firepits, floaties, picnic tables, grills (yes, multiple), s'mores fixings and other treats... All in all it made for a great vacation and I hope we return soon!
A welcoming outdoor space features a fire pit surrounded by four white adirondack chairs. The home is set back with a spacious porch and surrounded by trees, providing a serene atmosphere. A picnic table is visible in the grassy yard, enhancing opportunities for outdoor gatherings.

Great piece of property right on the Crystal River. At the end of a very quiet gravel road. Quick and easy access to downtown Glen Arbor (walkable). Very close to The Mill (super cool restaurant and coffee shop). Responsive hosts. Would stay again.

Cedar Lodge on Lake Leelanau

CindiRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We love the Cedar Lodge. Brian and Julie were very communicative the few times we had to reach out to them. Their welcome manual was comprehensive and helpful about the home, surroundings, rentals, and restaurant recommendations. The views from the home are amazing. The property is large, quiet and pristine. There were lots of water toys such as kayaks, float boards, and a rowboat. The kitchen was well stocked with everything - lots of dishes, silverware, pots/pans, dishtowels, etc. The home was clean and inviting. The ceiling fans provided cool evenings and the beds were comfortable. We hope to return to Cedar Lodge. From grandchildren, parents, and grandparents - we had a ball!
A spacious living area features a light-colored sectional sofa, accentuated by a textured area rug. Large windows offer unobstructed views of the water, while a wooden dining table and bar seating provide ample gathering space. Natural wood paneling enhances the cozy, coastal ambiance.

Cheerful cottage with amazing beachfront hangout

AmandaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our family of 6 fit very comfortably in the house. We loved the location for visiting downtown TV, skiing and sledding. We will be back in the summer months so we can enjoy the water. My 5 year old never sleeps in- the beds upstairs were so comfortable I had to peel him and his brother out of the beds after 9:30 am every morning.

BeaverTales - a Beaver Island lake front cottage

GregRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Our family had a wonderful stay at Beaver Tales! The cottage is a peaceful hideaway with incredible views. The home was clean, well-stocked, and had plenty of space for 2 adults, 3 kids under 10, and our small dog. The beach right in front is a mix of rocks and sand as the host described, but with water shoes the swimming was great and we spent hours rock hunting. The drop off is very gradual, perfect for the kids. The water was crystal clear most of the time but can get churned up depending on the wind and waves. There are also perfect sandy beaches within a 5-minute drive in either direction. Elizabeth was very responsive and flexible, and it was a wonderful experience all around. This was our first visit to the island and we'll certainly be back!

Modern West Bay Cabin

LeahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A bunch of local girls wanted to get together & Carlies spot was literally the perfect place. We had a fabulous girls night & check out was so simple and easy. The home is well decorated and up to date which made it very enjoyable to stay at. She was very friendly and responsive about our check out time which made it all worth it! The kitchen was very well stocked, it surprised all of us how many items were available. I have always thought the homes on M22 must be annoyed by the high traffic, but we all commented how we didn’t even notice it! The sunrise was the cherry on top to our stay 🤗10/10 recommend.

Leelanau County Hidden Gem on Little Traverse

LeeRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a great time! We stayed at Melanie's cabin for a snow shoeing trip to Sleeping Bear (which is incredibly close by). Little Traverse Lake in the winter was beautiful and had a couple groups ice fishing when we went. Would love to check this place out again in the summer!
A serene lake view at sunset features soft hues of orange and pink reflecting on the calm water. Two blue Adirondack chairs are positioned on the wooden deck, inviting relaxation as the sun sets on the horizon.

Sleeping Bear Dunes Cottage on the Lake #4

LindaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Melanie's cabin. It is centrally located in the Leelanau Peninsula making it easy to get to all of the great places to visit there. We love snow, and with the cabin right on the lake, it made for a beautiful view as the snow fell all weekend. The cabin was warm and comfortable, small and rustic, but exactly what we would expect with a cabin. We especially enjoyed having a delicious lunch at Market 22 across the street, and had the privilege of meeting Melanie and enjoying exceptional pizza. We highly recommend it. The highlight of our stay at the cabin had to be on the morning we were packing up when we saw an otter make its way along the shore in front of the cabin! The cabin was a key ingredient of what was a great weekend.
