Monthly Rentals in Laurel Bay

This was the cutest little community I’ve ever stayed in, I loved how beautiful, peaceful and friendly it was here!! We stayed above the Italian restaurant (which was delicious!) and every morning I walked across the street to the coffee shop, and had the best cup of coffee! There was a great playground for the kids that was within walking distance, and the whole family loved it here and didn’t want to go home. Will definitely plan a trip here again in the future!

What a gem of a place! Wow, so stunningly beautiful. The cottage was quaint and adorable with all you need (although I wouldn’t plan any elaborate meals as it takes a bit of maneuvering with the small bathroom sink). The property is so incredibly gorgeous and well-maintained, and there is so much outdoor space to enjoy—deck, hammock, lawn area, dock. It’s so quiet, peaceful, and breathtakingly beautiful. So many animals, too! Birds, squirrels, dolphins… And Channing and Therese were so responsive and helpful; I felt very cared for and supported. Quick note: There isn’t any privacy on the deck. The way the cottage is angled (I imagine to point away from the neighbors, which I appreciate) means the whole deck is in clear eye-shot of the main house. Although I don’t imagine anyone is watching, it was an adjustment for me—a bit of a fishbowl feeling. I really appreciate privacy, so this may not be an issue for others. (And I still absolutely loved every minute of it regardless!)

Great spot right on the salt marsh. Friendly neighborhood. So much history and wildlife nearby (cypress wetlands, NWRs) you will want a car. Can spend hours on the dock watching birds. History in the area is fantastic from Penn Center to the Port Royal Museum and civil war sites. Comfortable house with amazing master bath shower.
