Vacation rentals in Lago Cote

Great home in a quiet part of the forest, but close enough to town and attractions. Daniella was helpful and met us. at check- in to show us around.

Spent an amazing 2 months at Chris's place. Exactly what we have hoped for. The grounds and property were absolutely stunning! A true little paradise, especially if you are bird lover! A wonderful location to walk and enjoy the beauty of the lake, or walk into town to experience one of the many amazing restaurants. After we spent a day exploring, it was so nice to come back and relax in the beautiful pool! The beds were very comfy and the linens were a nice treat. Last but not least, Chris' place made us feel so at home. Chris checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. And Alex( and of course , Cindy) the property manager/ grounds keeper, added to our amazing time, his friendly smile, his whistles as he works to maintain the beautiful gardens, his funny stories and his knowledge of his country that he is so passionate about, truly was the "icing on the cake" . We feel very lucky to have found Chris' place as we now feel like we have found another home! Dave & Lisa

Very nice stay, despite constant rain ( not Mario’s fault!). The grounds are beautiful and unique. We were able to easily sleep 13 people in 5 rooms. The kids room is really for kids (king bed + 3 twin beds). The location was fantastic, nearby everything. Good recommendations. Kitchen is fully outdoors with a cover, so just be prepared to enjoy the wild of Costa Rica everywhere. The pool and grounds were beautiful. Laundry room also helped!

Photos and descriptions all accurate. Simply gorgeous views and surroundings. House very well equipped and easy to use. Super clean and tidy. Loved it.

We stayed for 2 nights on the blue parrot estate in a comfortable, clean cottage with a good bathroom and A/C. The owner Juan is friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. We were allowed to pick fruit on his estate and use the barbecue. Juan's limes are highly recommended! The location is in a fishing village and the delicious fresh fish is definitely recommended to prepare yourself. Stores and restaurants are close by. Highly recommended for those looking for peace, nature, and an experience of local life. We saw how the fishermen live, but also beautiful nature, trees full of monkeys, many birds and bats.

Even after reading reviews and looking at the pictures, I wasn’t prepared for how beautiful this place was. All of the outdoor seating is completely surrounded by lush, tropical plants so it feels very private. From the listing I thought the outdoor seating with barstools might be a shared space, but it isn’t- the windows open straight into the kitchen. 1000% would stay again!

This place was literally perfect for what my father and i had planned to do in la fortuna! The host was extremely friendly and greeted us once we arrived, provided details with the place and explained to us how to get around. The home was comfortable and we were out for most of the day so it provided all that we needed. Very clean as well. Thank you for such an amazing stay. Would recommend it to anyone visiting la fortuna !

We enjoyed our stay! It's a nice, clean home with scenic views in an authentic, safe community. We bought a few basics for breakfast (eggs, queso blanco, milk, coffee, juice) at the nearby community mini-market (a few blocks away) so we could make breakfast at the place. If you want fresh fruits & veggies, you should stop at a bigger market on your way (La Fortuna? Or El Castillo?). We ate dinner twice at the nearby La Terraza restaurant, which was good. We loved the batidos de fruta (fruit smoothies/shakes - 'de leche' ('of milk') . My favorite is the batido de papaya (de leche). My kids also tried the strawberry, pineapple, maracuya (and I think others, too!). We enjoyed the dishes we had there, too. Internet at the house can be spotty, but there's some cell reception, too. If you're on vacation and just checking your email from time to time and researching things to do in the area, it's fine; if you're looking to be a digital nomad, this is probably not the place for you.

Thank you to Leandro and his mother me and my friend had our best time in Costa Rica there backyard is filled with so many animals and fruit u can grab coconuts from the trees the WiFi is good the pool is amazing also a beautiful spot to see stars at night
