Vacation rentals with a patio in Kailua-Kona

We have been staying with Kaleo and her team at her various properties for corporate travel and she is very responsive if anything is needed. The location is safe for solo travelers and close to amenities. Her properties are always our first choice when traveling in the area.

Enjoyed our stay! The unit was clean, well furnished, and several fresh flowers were placed throughout. The host left a nice card and a bowl fresh fruit. Enjoyed eating breakfast on the private balcony overlooking the coast. The host provided concise instructions about location and how to check in. Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed at 4 Airbnbs during our 11 day stay in Hawaii and Maile and Vlad’s was by far our favorite! The location was perfect and lots of really good restaurants around!! They had kids the same ages as my kiddos so playing with them was a hit also :) We would love to be back in the future

Ryan was an excellent host. He is a great communicator and quick to respond to any questions . Everything was exactly as described. Our place was wonderful! We will definitely book with Ryan again

Lovely place, loved chatting with Nate. I had a fall soon after landing and would have had a ruined trip without his help. Lovely fruit trees, very tasty. Thank you for the papaya. Location is very convenient, i avoided traffic going to the boat harbor in the morning.

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was so spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. We loved watching the horses from the lanai and having Buddy the dog greet us everyday when we arrived back. We felt like we had the best spot on the island to watch the sunset. The sounds of the coqui frogs at sunset was absolutely amazing and so relaxing to fall asleep to. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped for self catering and it was really helpful having some things in the cupboards like spices, oil, syrup, etc. We were so sorry when it was time for us to leave!

Highly recommend! Exactly as described. We utilized the free shuttle to town quite a bit! Only runs once an hour but highly recommend. Condo was very clean and kitchen was stocked with everything and more! Wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Communication was a 10/10.

We enjoyed our stay! This is a Wyndham resort and they do invite you to listen to their timeshare spiels but they didn’t hound us about it, it is a nice location with plenty of room, much more room than other places if comparable prices. Clean and as described

I do not way to say too many nice things otherwise this place may not be available next time we want to come again, LOL. Great home, great location. Captain Cook is one of my favorite places on Big Island, after living there many years ago. Home is highly recommended.

Joe is an exceptional host. We had a late flight and were worried that there wouldn’t be a taxi available. Despite his early schedule—he wakes up at 4 AM for jujitsu—Joe came to pick us up from the airport himself! What a fantastic guy! The place was great, and his hospitality was impeccable. Amazing place to stay. The house and view are gorgeous. So comfortable and clean, plus lots of great recommendations for what to do in the area. We were sad to leave and would definitely stay here again.

Honu House was by far the best Airbnb experience our family has ever had! The house was unbelievable, honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice. Paul was the most responsive host, even while being in Thailand! Ang questions we had, were answered immediately; and he would provide recommendations proactively. The kitchen is fully stocked, the backyard was a dream. I would go out of my way to book with Paul again. You won’t regret booking the Honu House!

We had an amazing time at Nurul’s place! It was one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed at, everything was pristine with top of the line furnishings and appliances. They thought of everything from local recommendations to beach gear. Definitely recommend!

What a fantastic spot. We stayed there for 3 weeks with my folks and our newborn and it was the perfect accommodation. Only 5 mins to downtown Kona via car and a good area to walk around without the hustle and bustle of the city. Highly recommended for those looking to live like a local for an extended stay but also have the option to hop down and be a tourist for an evening.

Highly recommend this place! We only stayed a couple nights due to it nearly being fully booked. I can see why as the furnishings are top notch. The dining room table is beautiful! The beds are very comfortable. Very clean. They even had soft Kleenex and toilet paper along with nice towels in bathroom. You just don’t find that everywhere. The comforter in the closet made the bed extra cozy. Debi, the caretaker, was so sweet and informative and helped make my son’s 30th birthday something to remember! We enjoyed talking to her but she will also give you your space, if needed. Jenne is great at responding quickly. She even let us drop off my husband’s golf clubs early so we would be more comfortable in the car. We would definitely stay here again!

This property is conveniently located within walking distance of many excellent restaurants and shops. We enjoyed walking through the town each night and dined in some of the best restaurants that we found on the island. The first night there we walked a couple of blocks to Huggo’s and had the best meal of the entire trip. We stopped in early and were able to get a table overlooking the crashing surf. The food and ambiance were amazing.

Perfect location with many beaches, restaurants, shops and attractions all within approx 15 minute drive with a few beaches within walking distance as well. Clean and well stocked. Great directions and communication wiith easy check in. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Terry has done it again! This was our second year staying at Terry’s well equipped and beautiful condo. Again we enjoyed daily whale watching right on the beach as well as sea turtles feeding on the shoreline. You will be in need of nothing at Terry’s hideaway as he has truly thought of every guests’ needs. In fact Terry reached out to us prior to our arrival offering to pick up anything we needed as we had a late flight. Our flight going home didn’t leave until late at night and Terry allowed us to check out late as well! Mahalo again Terry. Stay blessed 🌺😌

We had a great stay here. Absolutely beautiful view from the unit over the ocean with gorgeous sunsets. Easy, short drive to Kona for restaurants and other shopping needs. Well equipped kitchen and easy parking. Only minor issue was there were no shades to block the late afternoon sun in the unit. We'd happily stay here again.

The apartment is perfect for 4 people, very nice, just like how it was described and just like the pictures. The place is tastefully decorated and thoughtfully furnished with a lot of items to make it more convenient and enjoyable for guests: beach umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, pool noodles, beach towel, snorkeling gears in carrying tote, kitchen is fully furnished with some condiments (so convenient to make a meal here and there), detergent pods, shampoo, conditioner, good AC, convenient parking, etc. My parents liked it right the minute they walked in and they enjoyed having breakfast out on the deck every morning, listening to bird singing and enjoying the beautiful view. The place is about 30 - 40 minute drive from Kona airport depending on the traffic and about 45 minute to an hour drive from Waikoloa Village. There are many nice beaches nearby within 5 - 20 minute drive (can be rocky). Thomas is very responsive, kind, and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

Perfect location if you want to stay near shopping, restaurants, and the ocean. Kittty responds instantly and is very helpful. She even gave us a late evening checkout for a nominal fee. Will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful condo. Walkable and very close to the beach walk and shops and restaurants. We were impressed with all the amenities that the condo provided. We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
